Jake became my State Farm agent after a previous office I'd been with closed. He's a really great, nice guy, and it feels good to support someone that you can actually put a face to for something as banal as insurance!
His service has also been great - he offered to let us drop the insurance levels on our pickup that we don't drive but then increase it if we were going to use it for a weekend, and then drop it back down again - saving us good $!
My policy with my auto insurance company was up for renewal so I decided to shop around.
I first tried the online guys - Geico, Esurance, etc.
Decided to give this State Farm branch a chance because I want to support local businesses when I can.
Also, when I worked at a tow company the State Farm reps were always very prompt in assisting their customers as well as settling their bills.
To get to the point, I got a better policy than I had (better coverage), with renter's insurance, for $500 less per year than my previous insurance company. These guys also came in $25-50 less per month than the online quotes from Geico.
Phone and email communications were to the point and they even handled the break-up with my previous insurance agent!

I always assumed big, online companies were the way to go because they offered economies of scale and better rates. Service goes out the window, but you kind of expect that.
So, I had to talk to State Farm because I needed business liability insurance in a hurry. Online isn't really an option in that case.
Called their office. They answered the phone right away.
I spoke with someone who could help me right away.
I got my approved policy back within a couple of days. It was at the low end of what I had been told to expect to pay.
They also offered me a really low auto insurance rate that is lower than my existing company, Geico. And renters insurance that didn't charge an arm and a leg.
Then, something else came up & I needed to make a change to my liability policy, and they were incredibly responsive. It was so, so easy dealing with them. I never had to pick up the phone because I had Rebekah's email the entire time.
People who know me, who have a brain, who know what they're doing, and do it well! This is so rare these days.
Exceptional service at an exceptional rate. I would recommend them to anyone.
Even without the great rates, I had forgotten how great it is to not have to waste all day sitting on hold for some gum-smacking 20-year old in Nebraska.
I'm definitely a happy camper.

I value a lot of things in life, and some of them are actually things. I love peace of mind wherever I can get it. Putting both of these together, I realized I needed an umbrella policy for my business, renter's insurance for my personal belongings and also decided to shop around for a better rate on my auto insurance policy.
I found Robert Fong at State Farm and immediately liked how not pushy, genuine and passionate about his work he is (yes, the man loves insurance and it shows). He was very thorough in explaining to me all the numbers he was crunching to make sure he got me the best coverage possible with the best rate. Once he massaged me a perfectly balanced policy for my needs in the renter's insurance and umbrella policy, I said "Hey, this guy knows what he is doing and seems pretty straight forward. Why not ask him what he can quote me for a new auto policy?" I did and, low and behold, I now have even better coverage than I was getting from 21st Century AND I am paying $100/year less than before.
I got my piece of mind satisfied and my things are well protected. I love how whenever I call the office, I always get a real person and feel well taken care of, no matter who picks up. I'd recommend that anyone like myself looking for new insurance or a rate quote for current needs call Robert first!
I didn't know how much my previous auto insurance company was overcharging me until I spoke with Robert Fong, an associate at the Dave & Jake Stewart State Farm location. Rob managed to provide me with better auto coverage, renters insurance and for hundreds of dollars less than what I paid before just in auto insurance. I find him to be very accessible and helpful whenever I call with questions for not only myself but for friends and family as well.

I used to work for a bank for years so needless to say, I can't stand banks but when I dealt with State Farm Bank, I was surprised by the thorough explanation, volunteering options that benefit me & the ways they go beyond excellent customer service. I felt like a person to SFB & that the bank had a heart! I never thought I would be so happy with a bank. I rave about SFB & the savings that Maitri has shown me. I'm now planning to move everything over!
Leslie Coquilla is the one who helped me set up both of my vehicles and home insurance policy . She is not only professional and helpful, she is pleasant over the phone and patient with answering my ever ending questions. I have received nothing but the best service and each experience I have had with Leslie have been very great. Consider me a HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
I've been with David Stewart's agency for years. They have a caring staff. David is also a financial planner who helped me set up my retirement plan. If you're in the SOMA area look him up.
I don't know how Dave Stewart managed to get two bad reviews! His customer service is top notch, his employee Tyler Randolph saved me $150 on my renter's insurance, the entire staff is very friendly, and if that wasn't enough, I got my insurance set up and active in 3 days over a 15 minute phone call. Dave Stewart is a good guy and he runs an excellent State Farm office.
David Stewart's office keeps spamming us with fliers depsite repeated requests to be removed from the mailing list.
