Tony, the owner of this place, is a mad scientist with a pair of scissors and a shop full of flowers. When I was in high school, Tony made my senior prom date a scepter, wrapped in wire and velvet, with dried and bleached turkey bones hanging off of it.
No, seriously.
This is the only place I ever order flowers from, and for good reason. Sure, you can use one of those run-of-the-mill FTD services, but why? If you want to send someone something that was made with an eye towards originality and awesomeness, Datura is the place to go. The staff is sweet, Tony is outright hilarious and the prices are reasonable. Plus, he's a huge Tom Waits fan - and anyone who's a Tom Waits fan is OK in my book. -

Tony and crew created unique masterpieces for my wedding on 5/30/10 at St. Clements Castle - and was willing to work within my budget. Five Stars on all counts!
