I'm in Portland for a second interview, so I wanted to get a hair cut to look my best. I've never been happier with my hair than after visiting this salon!
I called up in the morning for an appointment and was able to get one for a couple hours later. I didn't know exactly how I wanted my hair, but Jules did a great job and spent a lot of time making sure it was just perfect. She also showed me different ways to style it with Bed Head Manipulator. She had a very friendly and fun personality and I will definitely go back to her if I end up moving here.
When I got to the salon, someone opened the door for me and offered me a drink (although the person being near the door when I walked up was probably just a coincidence). I believe they had tea and spring water, and maybe more. The waiting area was nice and had a Car & Driver magazine for me to read (whereas most salons I've been to only have magazines aimed at women).  
Street parking was no problem, but it was a Saturday, so I imagine it could be more difficult on a weekday. I believe there are parking garages near by though.
I was expecting the hair cut to be on the expensive side, but it was actually very reasonable.
I actually feel more confident for the interview. Thank you Jules!
