DRY, DRY DRY.... How can you mess up chicken kabobs? I got overcharged and the food was blah. Even with my "buy one, get one 50% off" coupon I won't go back.

I came here with a co-worker for lunch today and was hoping that it would be better than my Daphne's experience at the other location off of Jeffrey but, um, no. Maybe because it was the lunch rush - I ordered a regular Gyro meal with fries + drink and the gyro had half the fillings of the other location hardly any of the veggies either and the fries were barely salted with the portion touching the plate soggy. If it weren't for the company of my friend it would not have been that good of an experience.
The office has ordered Daphne's takeout from this location before and it was actually quite good! So I'm going to give them 2 stars, they are very inconsistent.
Update: 9/13/07
OK, I gave it one last shot. Office orderd 5 dishes from here and their gyro was actually kind of gross, an employee hit my foot with the nasty broom (why they insist on sweeping under a table people are sitting at I don't know). Maybe it's the gyro that's bad, maybe I should try something else??? Have you ever been addicted to bad food? I think I am now. Ew.
I've been going to Daphne's ever since they opened. I then moved to SF for a few years and when I moved back, I made it one of the places to go back and eat at, and let me tell you, boy was I disappointed. The quality of the food and the flavors has definitely gone down. They are a chain and I think that they expanded too fast, and now only care about the dollar rather than the food. It's sad. They used to be so good.
pretty tasty food.. and healthy too.. i'm not a greek expert but i like it here.. sign up for their vip program and get free food! i signed up and they sent me a free entre coupon for a belated birthday! how nice is that...
