If I could buy all of my clothes at Danielle, I would. Alas, she doesn't sell exercise socks. In all seriousness, if you are looking for something dressy or something casual, you will find it at Danielle. Danielle has fabulous taste and her shop reflects it. Wonderful for gifts for any woman in your life - wife, girlfriend, daughter, mother.

The owner, Danielle herself, was extremely rude.
A colleague and I came in today late afternoon and after a minute of browsing asked her, "I have a question?" Danielle gave her a nasty look and replied "I'm very, very busy right now.". Hmm busy? The store was empty except for us three, and she was sitting on a stool looking at her computer. My friend, unperturbed, browsed for another minute, then asked Danielle again about what lines the store carried. Danielle stared down her, looked over at me, and didn't say anything, making it crystal clear we were not welcomed nor was she going to waste a minute of her precious time even bestowing us with a response. For the record, we were dressed simply and casually, for even us fashion students just want to take a break and throw on some true religions and rainbows once in a while. This was one of those days, and she did not want anything to do with young girls who look like they aren't made out of money.
Take your money elsewhere, to the other boutiques nearby (like West End at Chestnut, where the sales assistant greeted us warmly and offered lots of help) and don't support an establishment where the owner herself treats people like the dirt on her shoe. -

If you have never been to Danielle's on 2278 Union Street, you have missed one of San Francisco's finest clothing boutiques!
The clothing lines that Danielle carries are both sophisticated and fashion forward. Furthermore, they are reasonably priced!!!
Danielle herself has an incredible eye and will help you select outfits that will make you look your best. She is also very honest so don't be offended if she suggests that something you try on is not as flattering as it should be!
I have been shopping at Danielle's for the 3 years I have lived in San Francisco and have NEVER been disappointed with a purchase.
Don't pass up the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous shopping experience. By doing so you will also be supporting one of our local independent business owners rather than the nationwide chains! -

Is there another place to shop? Danielle's taste in clothes and merchandise is impeccable. She is the most honest, kind person and store owner you could find. She would rather you leave with nothing than sell you something that she doesn't think looks good on you or thinks that you are not super happy with it. She also knows exactly what will look good - she is brilliant. She builds a great repore with her clients. Stopping by just to say hi is a weekend occurrence for me.

There's a reason why she has 5 stars... I love this store.
I went in the other day and Danielle helped me pick out the perfect shirt. I tried it on, and while it felt great, it was just a little too big. Danielle handed me one size down and it was the perfect fit!
Just this week, the store has moved. Danielle is now on Union Street (near Fillmore) in a beautiful location!! The new store is remarkable, you have to check it out. Very, very well done. So classy and hip.... like everything (and everyone) in the store.
I can't say enough about Danielle and the store.
I highly, highly recommend it, it's by far my favorite boutique in the city. -

Danielle is the best boutique in San Francisco! I have tried all of them and this store has beautiful clothes at reasonably affordable prices. The owner, Danielle, has an amazing eye for fashion. She hands me clothes that effortlessly fit and look fabulous. She has a gift. So if you go there, you get her as your personal shopper. She will order you anything, if it isn't already available in the store. Danielle remembers all of her customers and gracefully (and with no pressure) cares for everyone who walks in the door. It is a wonderful place for gifts as well and has saved me several times when I had to get something for someone I barely knew.
Don't waste your time at other San Francisco boutiques. Everything you could ever want to look and feel great is at Danielle. I wish every shopping experience could be like this one. -

Danielle is my favorite store in San Francisco! The style is classy, fun, stylish and very chic. Since I have shopped a Danielle I always get complement on how I dress. The owner
is so friendly and she will help you find the correct top to go with the pants or find the most beautiful dress for a party. I always look forward to visit Danielle as she keeps the inventory fresh and exciting! the choice is fantastic; from a simple tee shirt to a cashmere sweater and the cutest scarf! Danielle is an amazing store! -

I love this store. The clothes are amazing in terms of both quality and style. She carries everything from Michael Stars T's (tons of them!) to fashionable business and flirty date night clothing. Check out a brand called Equestrian when you go there as well - amazing cut and comfort.. Danielle has a great eye for determining what size and style will look the best on you. The service couldn't be better!

I was looking for some clothes for my wife for the holidays which is usually a horror show for me. Danielle was amazingly helpful without ever being pushy and helped me pick out some great stuff that my wife loved. She went back in and ended up blowing our mortgage on even more stuff and now seems to make an outing to Danielle's store a monthly event. But she is mad stylin' so I guess its worth it. Great clothes, great experience, Danielle rocks.
