This is an old school wodden rollercoaster. While it is not the best rollercoaster, it is all we have in South Florida.
The coaster reaches a speed of up to 55 mph and is 100 feet high at its peak, the tallest wooden rollercoaster in Florida
FYI: The Hurricane is at Boomers, 1700 NW First St., I-95 at Stirling Road. Open noon-midnight, Monday-Thursday, noon-2 a.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-midnight Sunday. $6.25 for one ride or $12 for unlimited rides. 954-921-7433, http://www.xcoaster.com.
