This was the 6th bead store I had been to in as many days and I have to moan "Why didn't I go here first?" The staff was brimming with know-how, enthusiastic (even tho' it was late in the day) very personable... I rec'd more help in the short time I was there than in all the other bead stores combined! The layout was the best I've encountered and made the hunt for the right beads very easy. The room full of fabric was an added bonus. And they carry the Crafty Chica line of crafts! Score!
I came to the store with a couple of projects and left with a head full of ideas, knowing that help and expertise is just a phone call away.
Well worth the long drive. -

I give a 2 star because the customer service is like a roller coaster. If you have kids please for the love of (insert who here) do not take them with you to this store! They will get very upset if they see a small child with you! if you are not OK with dogs then do not go to this store they have dogs roam the store.
The beads are great and at a good price point, I would go more often but I need to remember to have cash -

I love Dancing Bear Indian Trader! They are super friendly and helpful, which I really like. It's nice to have the owner of a store actually take an interest in a project you're working on and offer recommendations. They have a great selection of seed beads and interesting fabrics. One of the really great things they offer are a variety of classes. Most of the classes are $20 and three hours long. I highly recommend Dancing Bear Indian Trader!

This has become my "go to" bead store! I originally tried them out for a beaded lace project I was knitting. Once I realized how friendly the gals are, and what a great selection of 6/0 beads they have, I find I'm in the store a ton - sometime 2 or 3 times in one week! And now I'm into the "bling" beads they carry for making bracelets. It's so great that little 'ole Vista has a local bead store for us crafty gals! Thanks Svea and Chris.

I create and sell jewelry and there are some beads that I get at Dancing Bear that are hard to get locally, and are more reasonable than the online prices. I also am a sucker for the Hello Kitty and Day of The Dead fabrics! Friendly owners, I always get fabulous service!

Awesome store and customer service!! Chris and Svea are incredible at what they do and amaze me with how informative and hands on they are about the products they sell. Not to mention you have first class ladies teaching great classes from beading to making dream catchers. The girls make you feel at home and welcome in their store. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If I happen to go in when they are busy I am happy to patiently wait my turn...plenty supplies to keep my mind burning with ideas. Love their store and sidekick dog Bell :)

This store has a rather surprising fabric selection (but small) that can not be found at big chain fabric stores. Big plus! However, the place smells like dog and very dirty, VERY DIRTY. The layout of the store is rather haphazard and definitely not kid-friendly. The staff actually discourage children. This store fall short of what it could be and what they are trying to achieve. They could be a really wonderful bead and fabric store offering craft courses if the layout were better.

This unique shop has everything you might need for a pow-wow. There are lots of beads, leather, and many unique items. They have fabric for Native American costumes, and some cute novelty prints for quilts, aprons, tote bags, etc. There is lots to look at and this fun little shop.
