I like the dentist and hygienist here, but they charge for missed appointments, and they try to make you feel bad if you have to reschedule. Maybe my Delta Dental insurance is crummy, but the gum surgery they recommended was going to be very expensive out-of-pocket.
I've been going to Dr. Dana for 3 years. The hygienist there is the best I've ever had. I'm really surprised to hear about Mike H's experience. I've had a few cavities, but I started flossing and haven't had any more. This place is great because they remember you as an individual. Without insurance, a cleaning is about $95.
I've been going to Dana Dental twice a year for five without any problems. They keep to their schedule and they are professional. Sorry to hear that Mike H. had a bad experience.
I had terrible jaw pain. It turns out I needed a simple nightguard. This bum wouldn't give me the time of day when I asked him for help. He took a look at my insurance and decided he could make more money selling me some unnecessary cosmetics. He said it was absolutely essential that I get the procedure on about half of my teeth.
Screw that! I went elsewhere. The second dentist didn't mention the cosmetic garbage. I got my nightguard and the pain went away.
I've learned that if you have really good insurance you tend to get a lot of unnecessary medical procedures. Unprofessional, unethical and crooked. These people should be in prison.
