This place is a Korean version of a dive bar. Dark, old looking, crappy furniture and really shady looking, but stuff here was really good and fun. I could tell this place was awesome since some groups here were all causing a raucous, taking shots together, girls kissing girls, boys kissing boys, chicks standing on their seats doing dares, people playing drinking games. It was great. Some people were all singing and beating on  the tables to the beats of some old school Korean songs when they were being played on the speakers. Just awesome.

Food here is pretty good as well. You don't get so much banchan but some of the dishes here are quite tasty. I actually got the tuk pae gi  bulgogi (kinda like a bulgogi soup) and I had tasted the kimmari all of which were great.

I really love this kind of atmosphere. It just makes you feel at ease, at least for me, the Korean alky.

Not sure if they are related or not... however I used to go to the Dan Sung Sa in Los Angeles, Koreatown all the TIME...

They honestly knew me by name.... actually, they called me Dr. Cha... since they always laughed at my last name.... cha-pa (not funny i think).

Anyways, this place is MY PLACE..... seriously...

It's dark... relaxing... and a big tv showing korean music videos...

I still can't believe they have american beer on tap and not korean beer.. but oh well....

Try the duk bokki with deep fried japchae roll..  it was gooooood... however, it was BETTER THE NEXT DAY!!! (doggy bag)

I really like the environment here.... don't bother wearing your sunday "best" here... this is not one of "those" bars... its just chill...

I love 1970's korean music..... if you do, COME HERE!!!

Small but cozy bar in K-Town. Went there for a friends birthday and we were really taken care of. We had lots of food dduk bokki (rice cakes in spicy sauce), dalk ddongjip (chicken gizzards), kimmari (jap chae noodles wrapped in seaweed and fried...so yummy!), the fruit plate we ordered was so good, tons of fruit and a variety.
The bar a bunch of private wooden booths for about 6-8 people and some smaller ones for 2-4 people. The seats aren't very comfortable actually since there is a pad thrown over a wooden bench, but I like the high booths anyway. I didn't pay anything, so not sure about the price..sorry!
