As a local I had driven or walked by many times and was now in the market for a new piece for my new house, so I went in to see his sculptures. I am not sure how or if this man sells anything. He is so beyond rude ! and his sculptures are not special enough to warrant all the negativity you encounter entering his place. Even his wife/girlfriend had a very bad attitude and was impossible to interact with . Good thing the Mendocino Coast has many fabulous artists and I found a beautiful piece three days later elsewhere. I would have given a 'no star' rating if it was possible.

Some good original art, but Dan Hemann is a real downer: rude, indifferent and sullen.  Not a good place to shop.  Lighten up, Dan!
