Guest reviewer: my girlfriend.
We went here on a Saturday night when I was sick. It was the best thing for a cold night: tea and hot bowls of Korean soup. (We had Duk Man Doo Gook--Korean dumpling & sliced rice cake in beef broth and Spicy Kalbi Tang--Shirt ribs soup in hot & spicy broth with vegetables).
The atmosphere is cozy, plain--a carpeted dining room and a TV showing Korean soap operas.
Our waitress was really sweet and cute.
It was a great outing, and great also if you're feeling winter chills or looking for hot food.
Now, back to boywond3r.
Yeah - what she said. It really enjoyable. Our dishes came with various pickled side dishes that really complemented our food.
A great local family-run restaurant easily accessible on the B line as well as the C and D line. If you take the C to Cleveland Circle or the D to Reservoir and wait for the Boston College Shuttle (clearly marked) and wait to get off at the Chiswick Road/Bluestone Bistro restaurant stop, you'll be right at the restaurant in a few minutes.
They're not open Sundays.
My roommate likes Korean and I like Japanese. We are both happy there - thus its draw. Since they don't seemingly have a speciality neither will blow you socks off, but the food is decent. They deliver as well and sushi at my front door can be a dangerous propostion.
Damoah is a very good Korean BBQ restaurant. It is very close to Boston College and it is conveniant for people on the B-line. The food can be a bit pricey but definitely worth it for the taste of good Korean food.
convenient for BC students, horrible delivery but the staff is nice. teh korean food isn't all that great, but it's the closest place to get it.
