If you like exceptionally sleek, modern furnishings, this is a good source for the minimalist look.  Lots of chrome and light wood (or colored wood, if you prefer) can be custom ordered.  Damian Velasquez, artist/furniture maker, handcrafts tables, chairs, coffee tables and sleek dressers in a variety of customized finishes.  He frequently exhibits at regional craft fairs.
