I visited this place three times and that's three times too many! I came here once to check out glasses for my boyfriend and two times to fix two of my sunglasses
The first time I came here I received mediocre service. I wasn't welcomed, but I brushed it off because the staff seemed busy. I brought in one of my broken Dior sunglasses and one of the receptionists brought it to the the back room, brought it back in 10 min fixed. The job was done, I was satisfied.
The second time I was here was with my boyfriend. We wanted to check out new glasses and what not. So we walk in and there were no customers and two employees. They seriously just stared at us while we walk in. Complete blank stares. No hello. No fake smile. No hi. No half smile. YOU BITCHES. We left soon after 10 steps into the shop.
The third and last time I came here was yesterday. I needed to have my two very special and very expensive Dior sunglasses fixed. One of them needed a screw and the other one needed to have a lens popped in. Two employees were busy and one was on the phone. So I stood in front of the employee on the phone. She was about 25+ years old but sounded like a teenager on the phone saying "Omg and like omg omgomg like totally." After standing there for 30 seconds she finally said "OMG I'LL CALL YOU BACK." Then, this unprofessional dumbass of an employee asks me if I need help and I tell her I need my sunglasses fixed. The phone interrupts me and she answers and her conversation goes like this, "No you do it. No you do it. No you do it. No you do it. No I don't wanna do it. You do it." UGH. Then, (while still on the phone) she grabs my sunglasses and starts toying with them as if they were fake Diors. She tells the person on the phone to hold on and tells me to sit down in a super fake voice with a fake ugly smile. UGHHH! She didn't explain to me how long she would take or explain that they aren't liable. She just disappeared in the back room for 10 minutes. I came back in 30 minutes completely pissed at myself for going there the third time.
The staff needs a training in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've never received such awful service and I will NEVER come back here again.
Visited this place yesterday 4/5/07 around 6:45pm
6:45pm: So my GF and I walk in and immediately the 2 female workers made obvious gestures and comments expressing how pissed off that customers would come in so close to closing time.
(its not like i was sitting at home doing nothing all day and decided to visit your store just when your about to close just to piss you off! I work like everyone else and i tried to make it here ASAP so I also could carry on with the rest of my day also.)
I try to make best of the situation by loudly making a joke stating "Yea sorry we are the ASSHOLES that came in right when your about to close."
So we proceed to look at frames. All the while in the background we hear sighs and rude comments going to the tune of "I need to get going!" to which the other girl responded "Yea its time to go!" all while her feet are on the counter looking irked cause people decided to visit your little, almost non visible store that i only noticed because there is a Hollywood video next to it that i sometimes rent flicks from and thinking about trying to buy some high end frames.
(I too am tired of going to eyeglass places for the past week looking for frames since not all the places carry all brands. Yet i did not bring in my frustration into your store giving you a hard time about the lousy service I'm receiving and uncomfortable shopping experience you are creating)
So i finally find some frames I'm interested in seeing and until this point no one has asked to show me anything. So after we make it quite apparent that we actually want to try some on we get one of the girls to take the frames out from the glass casings. After that she doesn't stick around to answer questions or see how they fit or anything. So after i decide which ones I'm really interested i have to go BOTHER her and request some help in finding out how much it would come out to be after my insurance coverage. She asks for my info to look up my policy and finds that its being looked at by the store i went too yesterday. She responds that she can not give me exact quotes since she would need to call my insurance to have the records released and that they are closed.
(Look i was at the other eyeglass place yesterday around the corner from you guys WESTLAKE VISION CENTER OPTOMETRY http://www.yelp.com/bi... where i actually received 100 times better service at the same time of the day and they were able to call my insurance to have my records released from the previous store i was a couple of days before..... WTF can you be anymore lazy?)
So fine i settle for asking just for an estimate based on what typically my insurance covers. She quickly gives me a ball park figure that i had to keep interrupting since yes GOD FORBID i wanted some extra features like Transitions, Scratch proof, Anti glare etc... So we leave since someone had more important things than doing her job which it involves helping customers out.
Final outcome and thoughts:
The sad thing is that i actually found a frame i wanted at this store. I actually went ahead and made my appointment with them since today i spent the entire morning looking for another place that carried this brand and failing to succeed.
But luckily i found a place after making the appt. that carried the frames which most likely to your SURPRISE gave me good service that I quickly made a appt. with them today which in turn to my GREAT RELIEF gave me and excuse to cancel with your business and not have to subject myself to any further HORRIBLE SERVICE!
The 1 star is just for the nice selection of Eye/Sunglasses.
I HOPE your not paying your employees to much since it seems like a waste of $$$ for work quality your getting back!
