YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PARK AT THIS STATION? -_- The San Bruno station which is like 10 minutes away is free! Ugh I forgot to pay today at the Daly City station... I hope I don't get a ticket :(!
*EDIT* Okay so I didn't get a ticket, but it's definitely not worth risking next time around. The daly city bart station is super convenient since it's next to the Century 20 Theatre and a Coldstones, Todai Seafood Buffet, and etc.. It's kindof dirty and there's always pigeons flying around and pooping everywhere, but it's not that bad I guess....

So for the time being, I'm driving the Mama Lee mobile around. From the twin peaks house to this station, it takes me about 15 minutes and I NEVER hit traffic. I am leaving the house at 6:15am though. Yeah, waking up early to commute to Menlo Park sucks salty donkey balls... But I digress...
$2 daily parking at this station. That is a freaking STEAL. The parking deck is actually clean and spacious and SAFE. What more can you ask for?
This station also offers dry cleaning. That's right folks! Drop off your dry cleaning on the way to work. Pick it up a few days later on your way out. Easy peasy.

I'm originally from Los Angeles so taking public transportation is new to me. So I only take it when I have interviews in the Financial District.
This BART station smells, stinky piss!
You only get good parking after 10am!
I have to pay an extra $2.00 parking fee on top of BART Fare!
Damn I could've just drove instead...ERRR!

Good ole Daly City BART. Thursday, Jan 10 I had an appointment in Downtown San Fran. Sometimes I drive but I have no money $$$ right now so I could not pay for a garage.
Parking?? The trick is to get there by 7:30am at least or you are shit out of luck if you have no "preferred parking permit"
If you want to park in the structure and not have pigeons crap on your car???? Get a permit. You have to get there bone chilling early to get the coveted green parking spaces on the 2nd floor.
The cost is $2.00 per day to park. Write down your parking stall number and enter that info at the parking machines...inside the gates.
Take your receipt. It is always good to keep crisp dollar bills handy. You can also pay with your BART ticket.
My friend "Fat Man Giants Fan" the newspaper seller is still there. He is huge but he keeps going.
BART is a great way to ride if you want to avoid the Bay Bridge...Highway 101 or 280. Get your reading material, your music and you are set.

Parking here sucks. Smells like pee a lot. I can't believe they changed the 2.00 daily free parking maching to INSIDE the bart station. Therefore you have to use bart to pay? WTF, it was NEVER LIKE THAT. Now us struggling students @ SFSU have even MORE PROBLEMS. PLUS, DAILY PARKING here sucks @$$, never ANY SPACE, EVEN AT 8 AM? jeez. & the pigeons? oh my don't even get my started.
Screw you Daly City Bart

This review is just for the station on the weekends.
When we decide to stay up in the city during the weekend, this is our BART station. Why? Cause you can park their the entire weekend (well, almost the whole weekend) and not have to pay for it. Parking in the city at a garage can easily cost you $25 a day. Here, you only have to pay for that roundtrip ticket, and you're set. Not a bad deal if I say so myself!
The cute officer is Officer Andy, who helped me when I got my car broken in to while parked in the BART parking lot all day. He was very nice, very cute, and even called me later that evening to check in on me and make sure I was okay and that I had everything the insurance company needed. Did I mention he was cute?
The trains are plentiful from the Daly City BART station, but other than that, Officer Andy is the only reason to go there, and I don't think he's there anymore. Bummer.

Not that bad, a lot of trains come and go and there are a good amount of bus routes.
The station is poorly maintained, everything is ugly and it feels so cold and dark... the places smells of urine and smoke as well.
The bus stop is confusing as well. I was looking allover for the 130 bus route and I couldn't see it anywhere. They should have 1 bus line for every bay to make it easier to find.
Overall, it's not that bad and so I give it a 3.

The best Bart station south of San Francisco. Its probably the last stop during the morning commute to downtown SF where you will be able to find a seat.
Coming back, 95% of the trains will take you to Daly City Bart station. Only the rare 24th Mission trains, and even rarer Montgomerey trains stop short.

Cold and ugly station.
There used to always be a cute BART cop patrolling here. I don't see him anymore, therefore this station has no more redeeming qualities.

What? No parking at 9am? Not a single damn spot? I thought for sure I was making a wise decision to BART to Pleasanton for a mtg. rather than drive. Well I ended up parking in one of the "after 10am" spots and hoped to get lucky and avoid a ticket. Well, when I arrived back - I was met w/a $25 ticket. As far as the ride itself, the train was 20 minutes late and so I had to call my client w/a lame "late train" excuse. My bad for not planning on this but I have only used BART a few times. The whole pay for parking inside is kinda weird too, took me a while to figure it out. You can pay outside the entry by adding it onto your ticket but once inside you can only deduct from your ticket or pay cash. The train itself was so disgusting that I decided to burn my clothes when I got home. The seats were all laced with gooey oozy aftermath of wear and tear and abuse - who knows. I sat on the car section of the paper which I hate and never read, but ironically began thinking of how I'd rather be in one.

Gets me to work in SoMa in 20 minutes. No traffic or high blood pressure to worry about when riding and you get a 20 minute nap. Although the irritating thing about this station is when a train approaches, they don't' tell you all the time which is leaving the station 1st. You get stuck in the parked train for like 5 more minutes!! BART has only let me down 2 times in 6 years and that not bad at all.

BART is known to have built some butt-ugly stations during the 1960s but this one may be the tops in my book. And the maintenance here seems to be especially lacking for the system as a whole. I swear I saw the body of a headless pigeon on the metal roofs that shelter the bus loading zones on the lower platforms and it was being fed on by the other pigeons. It sort of made me fear that a bird was going to do more to my head than just take a crap on it. This station is especially dreary and sterile.

This is not the BART station blessed with good looks. But then again, is there such a thing as a pretty BART station? Oh sure, 24th Mission has pretty BROWN and YELLOW tiles to match the smell of feces and urine that permeate throughout. And nothing matches that "open-air" feeling of Balboa Park especially on a rainy, foggy day. But Daly City has all the qualities of the previously mentioned stations AND the extra added confusion of it's north gates closing during non-peak hours. And let's not even talk about the bathrooms! The only good thing about them is they're actually OPEN! At least until somebody blows up the spot for the tenth time in one day. What is it about being surrounded by concrete that always makes me want to pee? On the positive side, you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a train, coming or going, since most of the BART lines originate at DC. And outside of rush hour, parking is plentiful and free!

This station is ugly. oh my god it's an atrocity really. in a city full of architects and designers what in the hell were they thinking.
anyway, it is nice because the trains are super frequent... and when i have to drive into work from san jose, i park here and take bart into SF. Parking here is 2 bucks, the ticket to downtown is 5.30 round trip so you end up paying 7.30 for parking and a ride instead of the 14 ridiculous dollars you pay to park in the SF FiDi.
There are bus stops that connect to the city, and Daly City here. The station is nearby a nice place, the parking structure is good, and it's fairly secure. Though it's badly kept, I still prefer to go this one than any other one.
what a dreary station filled with pigeons and sticky smelly benches...
