Apparently I can't get enough of dealing with local flooring contractors. But this was a good one. I found Dallas through a random online search (he was recommended on Redfin) and when I called, I liked him right away.

Where another floor company wanted to argue with us about what we wanted, Dallas asked a lot of questions and offered a lot of suggestions on the kinds of finishes he could provide.

When he showed up at the house, he took a close look around, agreed that the previous work done was solid, but unlike the other company, said it was no problem at all to give the floors a glossy finish.

And in less than a day, he did.

The floors are shiny. We are happy. The price was reasonable and the service was friendly and straightforward.
