If you've absolutely got to get your country dance on and you live centrally, go only on Wednesday nights..otherwise this place is kaka.

Put on your dancin' boots, bring cash (cheap drink specials, and using credit card here apparently means, "hey bartender, please write in what tip YOU think I should give" ** ), and be prepared for a cheesy cheesy time, including bikini contests on Wednesdays.

This place is great for finding some good country dance partners, dancing like a jackass to hits from the 90s, and people-watching.  Oh and don't be surprised if a cowboy expresses his interest and possibly grabs your butt.

**side note**
I went on a Sunday night (which is apparently senior citizens night with old country dance songs), it was rather dead.  My friend and I got two beers, tab totaling 7 bucks.  We didn't even finish the beers and promptly left.  I checked my bank account statement and noticed the bartender decided to give himself a $12 tip, meaning my charge was $19.  I called the manager and her response was basically that this sort of thing happened all the time, where their bartenders liked to add their own tip, but that she couldn't do anything about it this time.

I realize this happens in bars all over, but the way the manager handled it was super lame.  Just bring cash if you must go.

First off, this place is apparently a target for police officers handing out DUIs.  I really don't have a problem with this, because I appreciate them keeping irresponsible drinkers off the road, but if you remember hearing about Dallas Nite Club in the news, that's why.

That said, if you are nearby at like five o'clock on a Friday, this place is perfect for a happy hour.  Apparently this place is a hoppin' country joint later in the night, but it's a ghost town during happy hour.  They have cheap drinks and sometimes even free food to lure you in.  We would only stay for one drink because it's not that great on atmosphere or music, but it's good if you want to still be able to talk and get a fast, cheap drink right after work.
