This place is old school and im suprized that they're still holding it down... It looks like no one goes here. The most entertaining thing about this place is the graffiti in the bathroom. Also menu is real old fashion it looks like they have'nt changed anything on it for years maybe since they opened.

This place is oh-so-very vintage with it. I live in the area, and i've always passed by it and always wondered what the food was like. Super yummy. The selection of foods is hamburger shack/ A & W like. Chicken Sandwhiches with your kind of sauce (bbq, terryaki, etc.).

Onion rings, french fries, bbq sandwhiches, hamburgers, ice cream... The list goes on. It's definitely a place worth trying if your into classic/old fashioned type places that serve burgers.

I had ordered Large Onion Rings, a Chicken Sandwhich with BBQ sauce and a BBQ Beef Sandwhich. The Onion Rings were good, real crisp, and they weren't hot enough to burn my tongue like Burger King's. The Chicken Sandwhich that I got was grilled, very moist and juicy. BBQ Beef Sandwhich was moist, and i'm guessing the meat was shredded. I'm hoping my description of this place will want you to try it.

If not, i'm sorry.

This Dairy Belle is opposite the Rotten Robbie's gas station and across from the railroad tracks on the corner of Aldo and Lafayette in Santa Clara. To say the location is poor is an understatement - you wouldn't find this place unless you were a local or lost. Parking is no problem, but the parking lot looks like it survived the Loma Prietta, what with its cracked up sections and slanted aspect.

That said, the burgers are a whole other deal. "Juicy and Delicious" - as Samuel L. Jackson said of the fictious 'Big Kahuna Burger' in Pulp Fiction  - comes closest to the mark. You can have them in 1/4lb, 1/2lb and 1lb sizes, and they are talking about cooked weight. Topped off with the usual veggies and cheese if you so request. The fries are hit-or-miss most of the time, so YMMV there. Drink refills are free, but the Korean owners will probably try to stare you down if you attempt it. I suggest being brazen and going for it - since the other customers are usually of the blue collar stripe - truckers and delivery guys mostly - and it works just fine for them.

The interior amenities and ambiance makes a dive look like fine dining - paint peeling from the walls, hand fans and heaters, mismatched booths and chairs/tables, just really... tacky. Also, they don't take plastic and they have the usual standalone ATM machine by the cash register, so thats a minus against them right there.

The big bonus is the choco-dip vanilla ice cream that you can get as a dessert. This brings back memories of being a kid when the choco-dip was all the rage, so of course I get this every time. And it is the perfect end to a fine burger meal. Hmmm... cholesterol never tasted so good! I'll give it four stars for both these reasons. Come for the food, ignore everything else.
