Yes. It is an upscale place, but I think they have high chairs and can easily accommodate.

YUM! I came here for dinner and it was delicious! Definitely on the pricey side, but I got a very well cooked meal.
First, the ambiance here is great. Nice wooden furniture, clean, and dimly lit. Next, the service was great. The waitress was very fast and gave good suggestions. Water was constantly being filled, table was cleared quickly, and utensils were changed a few times.
The food was awesome! We started off with some oysters and the clams. Oysters were fresh and the clams were so flavorful! The portion size of the clams was also pretty impressive. For the main course, we had the crab cakes and the peking duck. The crab cakes were a great pick, however, it was the duck that blew me away. Such tender and flavorful meat and you get two large pieces too! Would definitely recommend if you like duck. For dessert, we got the doughnuts made to order and the coconut cream pie. Personally, I liked the doughnuts more but because I'm not a huge fan of coconut. Both were well made.
Come here if you want to treat yourself to a nice meal! Definitely worth a try.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 84473209Mar 12, 2021Updated review
While I am sorry to hear that Dahlia Lounge won't reopen post COVID, I had to admit to myself a few years ago that this Seattle institution had become a bit tired. Which is why I am so excited to learn that Tom Douglas will use this space on 4th Avenue to expand my two favorite jewels in his empire, Serious Pie, and my personal favorite, Dahlia Bakery.
I'll miss Dahlia Lounge but as they say, "be glad because it happened." I look forward to the reopening so I can get my favorite breakfast sandwich and beignets! I hope there is room now too for some espresso.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 27, 2016Previous reviewThe era of Tom Douglas began in Seattle in 1989 with Dahlia Lounge. Originally located half a block south, in a space next to what is now Escala, it moved to its current location 10 years later and added space for the wonderful Dahlia Bakery. It is now flanked by Serious Pie, Lola across the street, and Palace Kitchen and Ballroom a block over on 5th Avenue.
But as the spotlight inevitably turns to each of Tom's new venues, Dahlia Lounge endures as the quiet and reliable oldest sibling among a large family of shinier and more interesting children. But, while Dahlia Lounge remains a quality dining experience, it's menu has become a bit stayed and uninspired. And while the quality remains high, the execution can slip as often as not. The food is still good mind you, but I find some of their favorites have been around so long they've lost their edge. And I've experienced overcooked, overly complicated food far too often. You don't need a unique spin for every item on my plate. Sometimes simple but well made is best.
Still, I enjoy Dalia Lounge and dine here several times a year. But my fingers are crossed for a refresh and a shake up. - Jan 2, 2020
This was on the list of the James Beard Awards, so we wanted to come try it during our visit to Seattle.Â
FOOD
We came here for brunch and ordered the following:
PORK LOIN & BISCUIT BENEDICTS
Pretty good as the pork loin was very tender. Interestingly the egg wasn't was runny, which worked well for me. The biscuit was nicely toasted as you can hear the crunch while cutting it. I really liked the fried parmesan potatoes as well.Â
Tip:Â You can also substitute one of the benedicts for a crabcake.
DUNGENESS CRAB CAKE
Lots of crab in the crab cake, and the other items paired with the dish went well together. Plating was also very pretty. If I come back, I would actually order the pork loin benedict and substitute one of them for the crab cake.
TRIPLEÂ COCONUT CREAM PIE
It was pretty good considering I don't normally like to eat coconut. The crust wasn't overly sweet, which helped balanced the overall pie. The cream pie was smooth and light. I'd order this again.Â
Tip: this isn't on their brunch menu, but any bakery items from Dahlia's Bakery can be purchased and served as part of your meal.
SERVICE
No complaints. Water was refilled whenever it was half empty. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu.Â
WILL I COME BACK/RECOMMEND?Â
Definitely!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 10, 2019Updated review
Finally found time to come in and I was pretty disappointed. We had reservations and we were sat in a nice booth, the water glass was still wet (from the wash I assume) and had lipstick on it. We both ordered the truffle mushroom scramble with sausage, potatoes and a biscuit. Biscuit was cold but not terrible, eggs were ok, a little wet, potatoes were deep fried and lacked flavor, the sausage was just ok, probably had the most seasoning of anything.
Overall, just super disappointed.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Mar 27, 2010Previous reviewOn the numerous occasions I've been to Dahlia Lounge, it's never disappointed me. Granted I usually get the same thing...because it's delicious and one of my favorite things ever!
I'm a french toast kind of girl, and will usually try to find any excuse to get some. Dahlia is probably one of my top ranked places for french toast in Seattle. It's got the perfect combination of crunch on the outside and the custardy/soft/fluffy middle that makes for nom nom nom worthy french toast.
The grilled cheese and tomato soup is pretty nom nom worthy too, but I gotta say I'd go here on a regular basis for my french toast fix any day of the week. - 163373917Jan 20, 2020
Another wonderful Tom Douglas Restaurant experience!! I'm always very impressed with their quality of food and service.
My best friend and I started with cocktails, oysters, gnocchi, and the salted butter bread. We ended with donuts and coconut cream pie for dessert.
The full experience of this place was just exceptional! I will gladly pay $200 for dinner at any of Tom Douglas' restaurants.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 18, 2019
Had a 7:00 reservation and parked down the street in a structure. $7 until midnight.
The service was top notch throughout. Water was served right away and our order was taken, and food brought quickly. Water was kept filled and we were checked on our waiter went out of his way to bring extra bread for the clams without being prompted. He cleared our table right away and even cleaned the table of crumbs.
Oldies playing in background was a nice touch. It wasn't overly loud either.
We started with the little tastes, warm hand-formed Dahlia workshop bread. We chose three spreads, sunflower seed, chicken fat butter, and olive oil poached salmon. They were all good. The chicken fat tasted like Thanksgiving.
I got salmon for my entree. It was perfectly cooked with crispy skin. Very tasty Loved the peas and quinoa that went well with it. It was filling.
The famous triple coconut cream pie was excellent with the quality of the whipped cream top notch, not gross like lots of whipped creams. The coconut was toasted perfectly. It lived up to the super high expectations.Â
We also had the made to order donuts. Apricot jam and vanilla mascarpone. Once you have these you will never want a donut again. Nothing will compare.
What a great evening. Excellent food with amazing service. Would definitely come back the next time we travel to Seattle.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 15, 2019
*** 4.5 stars ***
An upscale Tom Douglas restaurant. When we first walked in I was bit put off about how "stuffy" it seemed. I expected something more hip and trendy from a hip chef like Tom Douglas. But the food quickly shut me up.
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup - This sounds so simple, and is something most people probably wouldn't think of ordering, but it was amazing. Seriously, each bite was phenomenal. The best grilled cheese I've ever had, coupled with the best tomato soup, and I got to dip on in the other... yes. Just yes.
Banana French Toast - This is how French Toast is meant to be served. Thick pieces of orange cinnamon bread with bruleed banana... another yes.
Crab Cake - Supposedly this is a must get, but honestly, while it was good, I did not find it to be that memorable, and definitely pricey for what you get. The other two dishes, however, blew me away.
My only regret? Being too full to order the donuts.Helpful 21Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0Business owner information

We came here during our multi-dinner spree to try out the five spiced rotisserie duck and triple coconut cream pie. It did not disappoint! Very tasty, and the service was great. It is a nicer place, a bit pricier, and worth dressing up for a bit more.
The rest of the menu looked great but in terms of recommendations, I'd say the duck and pie make the cut!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2018
We came here before heading to the Westin to help decorate one of the trees fo Providence O'Christmas Trees. We usually go to Lola but it was a nice change to try Dahlia Lounge for breakfast. Got there before everyone else was quickly seated and asked I wanted to store my bags in coatcheck which was nice. Service was friendly and helpful. One thing we liked about Dahlia was that it's a little quieter and bakery opens an hour earlier than the lounge so if your there early you can check out the bakery down just next door.
One of my friends has some strict diet restrictions and has had issues with other restaurants messing things up. The waiter listen and delivered perfectly even stated he would ask the kitchen to add a little more since she was getting the granola without yogurt, milk or honey. The other three of us the mushroom and goat cheese scramble. Was delicious the goat cheese nice and creamy love their biscuit with cranberry preserve for the holidays and the crispy parmesan potatoes. Coffee cup and water glass was always full.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We had the vegetarian gnocchi and the vegan falafel, spring greens salads and wine. It's not a cheap dinner and while good there are other places throughout the downtown area that are better.
We had heard great things and were excited to try out the food but were underwhelmed by the experience.
The staff was attentive but not particularly helpful when we asked about vegetarian options.
They had no special additions to the menu on a Saturday night which was a little odd.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 794731742Jan 22, 2019
Located across the street from Hotel Andra.
Food was all right - I had the cod. But the dessert I had was fabulous! The waitress said it was a good size but I wished it was a bit bigger! It was that good.
The server was friendly but not overly hovering. She also poured me a very generous glass of RieslingHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
