I love this place!!! Seriously, its like an old style diner. The service is always good and the food spectacular! Love the atmosphere and the homey feel to it! Moved here a month ago and have been having fun checking out all the eateries and this is one of the best!!!!!!!

The best little diner in the 'burbs!
Just got back from another great breakfast experience at Daddio's. (Can we PLEASE get the name officially changed on here??) Primetime Saturday (9:30 a.m.) and a short wait of about 5 minutes for a table to free up, enjoyed the cup of coffee they'll hand you while you wait. Gave us a chance to look over the menu.
I always opt for the corned beef hash skillet which they'll gladly make for you, even if it's not on the menu (or one of the specials). They load up the green peppers, onions and mushrooms if you ask for the works, or more stripped down traditional style.
My wife ordered the spinach/feta cheese omelette which she said was great and a mountain of hashed browns. My daughter got the ham and mushroom skillet, also very good. None of us made it even halfway through our plates! The servings are very generous.
While we enjoy other breakfast places in the area (Apple Villa, Colonial) we really like the diner look-and-feel (and taste!!) of Daddio's. Can't wait to go again! -

This is my new favorite place for a Monte Carlo sandwich. My kids loved it. They can get their food served in cardboard cars. It is also a great place to play "I Spy" while waiting for your food.
The only problem is the size of the place. It is tiny. I think it had 6-8 tables and a counter. It is also only open for breakfast and lunch. -

This place is called Daddio's Diner now. Good food, lots of it, and the chocolate chip cookies are spectacular!

On Sunday morning three of us went to Daddio's. It was, as always, a good experience. I have been going there for years and have yet to have a bad meal. Sunday was no exception. We sat at the counter, which is my favorite spot. Since it has become Daddio's it has added a lot of memorabilia from the 50's and 60's. Finding the different items helps pass the time until the food gets there. The food was wonderful. Lots of food, lots of flavor. The service is usually top notch, which is also a big plus. There is something about going to a place that knows what it is supposed to do and then does it....every time. No doubt, we will be back.

The BEST diner in the Tri-City area. Great food, good portions, and fast service. It's a small diner, but well worth the short wait. I have never had a bad breakfast here, and now it is our regular Sunday stop after church.

This is my first review on this site and have to say that it is an honor to say it's Daddio's. The family run business has very fresh, fast, and hot American food. My first experience was the crab cakes and just moving from the East Coast, they had more crab then ones I have had in a long time. The staff is friendly and quick. I love Saturday/Sunday mornings sitting outside with my morning coffee.

Awesome breakfast place. Great pancakes, skillet dishes, etc.
Nothing spectacularly different about their offerings, but everything is done extremely well. This place really packs 'em in so go early.
They do have some tables outside on the sidewalk, also.
Service is very efficient and friendly, also. Great place to take the family on the weekend. -

From the time this diner opened as Kathy's Riverwalk Diner and just about every Sunday for the next 11 years as it became Daddios Diner, we have loved every single brunch without exception. We have recently moved to another state and have yet to find the small town ambience of this cozy and super friendly diner with awesome service and hot-off-the-grill delicious meals. The crowd lining up for a table on Sunday mornings speaks to their popularity and the speedy and attentive service is well worth the wait. In fact, we have sometimes been served our meal less than five minutes after ordering. We sure do miss our friends and our breakfasts at Daddios!

Positively our favorite breakfast diner - sit at the counter if you can and watch the chef make your omelet and ginormous pancakes. This is a family-friendly place (now under new ownership - Kathy is no longer there) called Daddio's. The new owners have the same philosophy as Kathy and have kept all of the original staff from what we can tell. I always order the omelet, my husband has had the skillets and love them. The pancakes are the best you'll find - but you only need to order one as they're huge. It's crowded on the weekends but people move through quickly and definitely worth the wait.

Please be aware this place has not undergone new ownership or changed but it is now Daddio's. I agree with the other reviewer in that they do '"everything extremely well here". They have a nice selection of daily specials. I recommend the chicken salad, burgers, sloppy Joe, and coslaw. The chicken salad is "among the best I have ever had". Another fabulous item is the crispy chicken ranch wrap. You would be safe to order anything on the menu here. Their dinner hours are limited. They are only open until 7:30PM a few nights during the week.
