Avoid all things chicken which has the consistency of a sponge (think chicken mcNugget type grade F zoo meat).  Otherwise, this is as good as a calzone can get, which to me is worth exactly three stars.  The tomato based sauce is very pre-millenium Round Table-y (a very good thing).  As noted previously, the level of selection is good and, in fact, for those of us who are decision challenged like myself, somewhat overwhelming.  Check out the menu online and order by phone.  There is very limited utilitarian seating available for those who would prefer to not eat at home, although i can't imagine this to be the druthers of the majority.

I'm so salty there's no D.P. Dough down South.  This was another staple of mine when I was in college.  The calzone menu is ridunkulous!  I think it was like 30+ creations and they all had cute names that featured the word Zone.  Like "Drop Zone" or "End Zone" or "Steak Zone."  The dough is really good and they were always heavy-handed with the fillings.  Definitely a college student's dream food late at night.

Why is it that pizza and wings always sound good late at night? I don't know either and we weren't even drinking. So, we decided to pick our food up instead of having it delivered to the hotel.

Wow... talk about a menu. I think it took me about 15 mins to read all the choices and finally make my decision. They'll even make any combo you want if you don't find it.

This and a little Rita's ice and custard happiness, made for a perfect night.

My old college roommate and I tried to order every calzone on the menu over the course of a school year. Even though we got about halfway through, we still had some 30 plus calzones to go.

The menu is crazy, so there's going to something for everyone. This is definitely a delivery place, so grab a menu sometime and there will be no need to step foot in this place again.

**They now sell Ben and Jerry's pints here too! Calzones and Cherry Garcia, together at last.

This place has the most amazing and HUGE calzones I have ever had. The selection is amazing, even if you are a vegetarian. I think it is best to share one with someone because they are so big. They also have everything on the menu from pizza to wings. I think they specialize in calzones though, because they have like 50 different kinds to choose from. It's pretty much only take out though, which I don't mind.  Check it out people!

Oh man, this place brings back memories.  Staying up late in college and ordering from D.P. Dough.  They make an incredible calzone.  They don't really have a great seating area as this is not an eat-in restaurant.  They mainly deliver and you can pick up your order.

They have a mean list of calzones.  They have everything from a Maui Wowi (pineapple, ham and mozzarella) calzone to a Low Cal Zone (broccoli, garlic, mozzarella and cheddar) calzone.  I had the pleasure of having a Cheesburg calzone (hamburger, bacon, mozzarella and cheddar) with a couple of friends while we kicked back, drank beer and watched some TV.  If you're in the College Park area, try this place out.

They take credit cards and they have some fast service (minimum $5.00 order for delivery).
