My husband and I just recently welcomed a new addition to our family who has been both a joy and handful. With that said, puppy potty training pretty much sums up the reason for calling D-Mac Restoration and with the Holidays coming up, we wanted our place to be suitable for friends and family.
I did my research on local carpet cleaning services and was impressed with the great reviews for D-Mac. I called to book an appointment about two weeks before and spoke to a pleasant lady over the phone who was more than accommodating.
Jason was my service tech and he was AWESOME. He showed up right on time, immediately introduced himself and took the time to walk around our place to see what work needed to be done. He was also patient enough to explain the process and gave me his input in regards to the high traffic areas and stains our puppy has left. He even gave some helpful tips about maintaining the carpet after he finished up. He got straight to work and was done in less than an hour. He was easy to talk to, friendly, efficient and extremely professional.
They originally quoted me $80 for our 735 square foot apartment (1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room and dining room) which is a great deal especially with the kind of work their guys put in. I was also told that it'd be an additional $10 for pet areas. I was expecting to hash out $150 with how bad our carpet was but Jason was nice enough to pet treat the entire apartment for $20. I paid $100 out the door.
These guys are amazing and I'll have no problem recommending them to anyone. Thanks D-Mac! -

I have a dog that decided to mark his territory in the loft of my condo when a friend was staying for a couple weeks, so I decided to get the carpets cleaned in the entire place.
I called them based on the yelp reviews and concur that they did a good job cleaning the carpet. Christian, the service tech, was professional, showed up during the two hour time slot, and upfront about the stains that may not completely come out. Nice guy and seemed knowledgeable about carpets (or maybe just making conversation). The carpets are definitely much cleaner than than before and the smell in the loft is no longer there. I would use this company again. -

Let me start by saying that I am in no way, shape, or form a filthy person, although if you would have seen my carpets you might have thought differently. The high traffic stains in my apartment were horrendous, and after realizing Target couldn't provide me with anything worth buying, I went straight to yelp to check my options.
I chose D-mac after all the great reviews and their promotion for $99 out the door. I got a call the day of the appointment asking if they could come early because they were running ahead of time. I was all for that, since I quickly wanted to leave that filthy carpet and apartment in the past. The guy showed up ten minutes later, assessed the carpet, and assured me that even with the amount of stains it would still be $99 out the door. He was done in less than an hour and even steamed cleaned our linoleum kitchen floor for no extra charge!
I recommend D-mac to anyone looking for anything better than a rug doctor to clean your nasty-ness! -

They were OK, but nothing extraordinary. Just a carpet cleaning. All we had them do was a living room-dining room combination. Their price was a little high for that.
The guy who did the work seemed to want to get in and out as quickly as possible. There is nothing about this company that would make me want to use them again. The owner called me, disappointed in my initial two star review. He said that he would talk to the cleaner about the smudge I later removed, and he said that they schedule appointments in two hour blocks and my cleaner was actually right on time. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt regarding the scheduling, but I'm still annoyed about the cleanliness of the carpets.

D-Mac was recommended by a friend of mine who has high maintenance white carpets. He told me they were cheap and did a great job, and he wasn't kidding. I called D-Mac at 8am and they had someone out to me by noon. (My puppy got sick and made a few messes on my new carpet). Jason was friendly, informative, and got right to work. He was out the door in 30 minutes and I paid $80 for my living room and master bedroom + a hallway. Thanks D-Mac!

I've used D-Mac twice. Once for my apartment and once for my car. I moved into an apartment from the 1920s. That said, the carpet was also from the 1920s. Jason did a great job sprucing that raggedy carpet up. The carpet looked and smelled ten times better.
The second time I used them was to steam clean my car seats. I have light tan interior turned gray from new jeans, spills and everyday wear and tear. After Jason was done the interior looked brand new! It was amazing. I will definitely use them again for my steam clean needs. -

My chaise sectional was in dire need of a steam cleaning and so I called the toll free number and was able to schedule an appointment for a Saturday. Receptionist was courteous and very polite.
The company gave me a two hour time frame on when to expect the company rep to arrive at my door. Jason was my rep and he arrived on time. He was was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing.
The price overall was unbeatable and the level of service is worthy of five stars. I definitely see myself becoming a repeat customer. -

Thanks to the reviews on Yelp, we decided to give D-Mac a try. They gave me a window of 10a-12p arrival and the guy called and gave me a 30-minute lead time heads up within that window, which I appreciated. After he arrived, he realized he was missing something he needed so he had to leave and come back. He wasn't gone long as our house is close to their shop. He was friendly and respectful and did the carpets fast. He said they'd dry in 3 hours and I'd say they were *almost* dry in 3 hours and this was on a warm day with all the ceiling fans on (we have them in every room) and all the windows open. Price seemed pretty good when compared to other places.

Isaac from D-Mac Restoration lived up to the company's reputation on Yelp. He did a great job! He took the time to really clean the carpet. He spent over an hour making sure the job was done. The companies I have used in the past were in and out. I can totally see the difference between the way D-Mac cleans versus everyone else.

Quick and easy.
I found them on yelp.
I called them to get my carpets cleaned for my big move out. My @$$h0L3 apt manager is super @n@L when it came to the apt. I'm Asian, I don't wear my shoes inside the apt. There were some dirt stains at the entrance that's about it. These guys came in cleaned everything and left the place spotless. I didn't take any pics, but the only marks I saw were the clean tracks from the carpet cleaner.
They gave me a discount for writing this review. I asked what if I don't like their work? The guy on the phone was confident that I would be happy and I was. So if you want a discount too, tell them you saw them on yelp and that you'll be willing to write a review for them. -

I haven't been this excited to review a company in a while. Long story short: great price, GREAT service (Jason was very personable and friendly, and on time to the minute) and our carpet is a color we've never even seen before! (In a good way)
He was able to clean around the furniture we didn't have time to move, accepted payment by cash/check/credit card, and gave us the Yelp deal we asked for ($139 for three rooms, staircase, and hallway). And get this- the next day, I saw them back doing our neighbor's house!
I only wish I had more carpet for them to clean! :D

We had to have carpet cleaning done in very short notice, and D-Mac was there to the rescue. They were able to squeeze us an appointment in 2 days time on a Saturday at noon. So call days in advance if you want to have some flexibility with your appointment time! The people on the phone were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and were spot on with the price quote based on how many rooms + stairs I had.
Saturday comes and "Dano's" calls me that morning. So I was a tad confused, because I didn't know D-Mac Restoration and Dano's Carpet Cleaning actually work together. So, when Dano's called me, I thought, "Didn't I hire D-mac to do the job?". But they are indeed one in the same. The carpet cleaner (I want to say Dano is his name) actually wanted to move UP the appointment time that day because he was available to do the job right away. That would have been awesome for me, except that I was still in LA at the time. So I jumped into my car and drove down the 5 like a madman. Unfortunately, I was hit with stretches of traffic from San Clemente down to Carlsbad. I felt terrible because I knew he was waiting for me at my complex to start the job.
Needless to say, I was late and he had been waiting for me. + stars for being patient and being nice despite my tardiness. That's a minus star for me. But he worked fast and efficiently. He was extremely honest about the stains that probably wouldn't come off. For the most part, Dano got off most of the stains and left the carpet looking quite spiffy.
The pricing was very fair as well. Definitely the people to call for a good, thorough carpet cleaning. Thanks D-mac! -

I used D-Mac Restoration again this year to clean our carpets. I have not changed my mind since I positively reviewed them last year. I had the same serious tech who arrived on time, (Who would have thought that the employees of a carpet cleaning service would last so long?) and he did another great job. We have been sub-letting our condo - always a chancy prospect - so the carpets were really dirty again. This year I had the entire carpet cleaned including at least 25 steps. The price was incredibly low and the carpet looks beautiful. Last year I was told that because I had tried to clean the carpet myself, there was probably soap that I had been unable to remove. The tech told me that the carpets should look better each time I have them cleaned because more of my soap would come out. Well, this guy does not lie. It looked great last year and, if possible, it looks better now. Not bad for a year's worth of heavy traffic. I'm sold on this company!

I love smooth and drama-free service!
Was able to set up an afternoon (2pm) next day appointment on a whim. Dude got at our place right at 2, started right away, and was out an hour and 15 minutes later. I think his name was Isaac just cause that was the name that was written on the card. He seemed nice and didn't mind helping my husband move our son's bunk bed so that he could get the carpet under it too. My husband saw how super quick that magic chemical they used work on our carpet. We had tons of stains from raising two 2yr old corgis and they all disappeared! MAGIC I say.
They got to my place on time, charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone, and my carpets are clean beyond my expectaions. Can't give 'em any less than 5 stars :) -

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): if you need you carpets cleaned then hire D-Mac. Great service, great value, professional, and no issues.
We researched carpet cleaning places on Yelp and all the positive reviews sold us on giving D-Mac a try. We have used others in the past from Stanley Steamer (horrible) to various small companies. Only one did a good job but the cost was $400.
D-Mac cleaned a large front room (white carpet) and a small living room as well as steps for $90. Are you kidding me?
I had some stains on the carpet so the guy asked what the stains were and chemically treated them based on the type of stain. They also cleaned the floor runners without us even asking and the entire job took about 60-70 minutes from start to pulling out of the driveway. It takes other companies half that time just to get started.
We will definitely use them again, and my wife is planning to use them for her employers medical office. -

I called on rather short notice and was able to get a carpet cleaning scheduled in 2 days. The employee who answered my initial call was very helpful and asked about any problem areas I was concerned about so she could include them in the job and also explained their current special.
I was given a window of 2-4 in the afternoon. Isaac called me about 20 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and showed up promptly at 2. He took a walk through of my house and i showed him the areas I was concerned about. I had a red juice stain that he didn't know if he could get out, but he ended up doing an excellent patch job with some extra carpet I had instead of attempting it. I can't even tell where the patch is, it looks awesome!
Isaac did a great job cleaning the off-white carpets in my living room and 3 bedrooms. The carpet is over 5 years old, but still looks good, thanks to regular cleaning. I've used several companies in the past and all of them were much more expensive. D-Mac did excellent work at a terrific value ($99) with very courteous and helpful employees. I will definitely use them again! -

I chose this company based on the Yelp reviews.
We live in a short-term rental house with Berber carpet which was not cleaned after the previous renters moved out. Wanting to do the right thing, we had it cleaned. First of all, the cleaner was supposed to call first and give us an approximate arrival time. He didn't. Then, after the carpet was cleaned, horrible brown stains appeared all over the it as it dried. It looked worse than before it was cleaned! The carpet also stayed wet for far longer than it should have.
I called D-Mac back and they did send the cleaner out again, saying it was probably a "pH problem." The cleaner said no, it was old pet stains, and he could not get them out. He reluctantly cleaned again but the carpet didn't look any better.
I did some Internet research and the stains can and do come out, permanently, with baking soda and oxygen bleach, but it's a lot of work as I don't have a carpet cleaning machine!
In order to get our cleaning deposit back, we have to get the carpet looking much better than it is, even though it isn't our pets who made the stains! I'll have to start over again and find a cleaner who *can* actually remove stains...Comment from Dan M. of D-Mac Restoration 9/14/2011

Yup, you got it! D-Mac! These guys are amazing! As usual, Dean takes your calls and is super friendly and helpful and Jason came out and did his magic and made the carpet look BRAND NEW! I am telling you, you cannot go wrong with getting your carpets cleaned when you call D-Mac! Plus you should check out their website cause they ALWAYS have a carpet special all the time plus, I even got another discount when I added a service on the spot! That's what I call RAD!!

Well, I just had to try this place after reading all the reviews AND after getting an estimate of over $300 to have my carpets cleaned/teflon coated by a well-known competitor. Believe all the five star ratings...they are true. Arrived right in the 2-hour time range, great hardworking attitude, thorough and professional job, high traffic stain removal and teflon coating.... 1/3 the price. Plus, I called yesterday and they were able to send someone today. I really hope people use these guys...I want them around for my next carpet cleaning.

My carpets hadn't been cleaned in about 2 1/2 years, and have sustained fairly heavy use. D-Mac came in and took care of business. They were fast, professional, and did a great job. There were also no suprises in the price; it was exactly what they quoted me.
In addition to the carpet cleaning they also do carpet repair, and were able to fix carpet on the steps that had pulled off the staples.
They did a great job. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone. -

We're cleaning the house, top to bottom, in preparation for the in-laws to visit. We realized that we had better get our carpet cleaned or else they'd think we live in a barn. After much research and quote-gathering, we went with these guys and are very glad we did.
Our one carpeted room (13x13) has been through three dogs in the past year; one dog was going through chemotherapy, which meant LOTS of bodily fluids and partial-solids coming out all over. One dog had a digestive issue that lasted for a few months. Then we got a puppy, who not only took a short time to house train BUT who likes to bring in plants from outside, shake the dirt and roots everywhere, and roll around in it. So, basically, our bedroom was more like a bathroom/garden/sickroom. It was NASTY. horrendously so.
Now, i can't say that D-Mac saved our carpet. it still reeks. it's just that it reeks a little less. And, to be totally clear, the D-Mac rep we spoke to was very honest about not being able to save a carpet once it had been through Armageddon. in order to save it, we'd have to rip it up and replace the padding underneath. we can't afford that, so the steam clean with disinfectant was the next best thing. and, although it does still stink, it looks really good. it looks almost new, actually! no stains, no sign of its painful past, just a nice clean looking floor that stinks a little less than it used to.
in addition to cleaning up our carpet, the fella cleaned our couch for a reasonable $10/foot. getting both our 8 foot couch and bedroom done cost us $150, which was $25-$150 less than we were quoted anywhere else. the couch came out wonderfully - no stains, no smell, nothing. it's like a new couch, minus the new couch smell. it just doesn't smell of anything at all, which is pretty cool. it doesn't stink, it doesn't smell like cleaning products, it's just there, not assaulting the nose in any way. wonderful!
the man who came was extremely professional and quick; he was on his own, and so he had to unload the supplies, move furniture, do the work, and load everything back into the van all on his own while i stood outside with the dogs (and very excitable puppy, who thought that the hoses were way cool). he was in and out in about an hour! it was fantastic.
i'd highly recommend them to anyone. -

I'm having my carpets cleaned in my current home since we have lived here a few years. Once again, I have called up D-MAC restoration and cleaning to do the work. They worked around my schedule and called prior to coming to let me know when he would be arriving. I asked for Christian again as he is a really nice guy and thorough with the work. I'm a property manager and use this company for all our rentals. They never disappoint!

D-Mac was referred to us by a good friend. Now let me be that good friend and refer them to you.
After receiving various quotes from companies large and small, our HOA contracted D-Mac to do the mold remediation and restoration of our condo.They chose D-Mac not only because of their reputation but because the quote was very reasonable.
We have had quite a bit of experience with construction companies and crews--rarely positive. But, even from the beginning we could tell that this company was different. The quote was very thorough and complete. Dan, the owner really knows his stuff. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to us the process of mold remediation and what was going to happen.
His crew took great care in moving our furniture and protecting our new hardwood floors. They were perfectionists in every sense. From the bio-washing to the restoration. It was very clear that Dan takes time to train his crew in the details.
They were also efficient and timely with the process and no real delays came up.
When it was time for us to move back in, Dan's crew made it really easy on us. They moved all of our furniture back, put our bed back together and even put our silverware back in the drawer. I was shocked and amazed at how clean the place was.
I would use D-Mac for any of the services they offer. They were truly amazing. They made everything so easy and Dan truly put our mind to ease during a stressful time being removed from our home. It is extremely evident that everyone at D-Mac Restoration takes great care and pride in their work. -

D-Mac, you have redeemed yourself. Big thanks to Kevin, who spent a good hour cleaning the carpet, literally scrubbing away the stains on his hands and knees. The end result was a really clean carpet.
Kevin arrived on time, was a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend D-Mac to my friends, specifically Kevin, since he really cared to do the job right.
I also appreciate how Dan approached me after my initial review and said that customer satisfaction is his top priority. I called around to get an estimate for 2 rooms and a hallway for my workplace. All the quotes were around the same price. I ended up using this service because the person who answered the phone was very accommodating, friendly, and they had a slot open at a convenient time. The price was $99 and they did a good job. They came on time with their van and our carpets are clean.

I have never had a professional carpet cleaner come to our place to clean the carpets but our experience with D-Mac was great! Jason came in and helped move a couple of larger pieces of furniture before he started steaming the carpets. He was very friendly and talked with me while he did his job. The carpets came out great and for a good price. I would definitely recommend D-Mac to anyone looking to have their carpets of floors refreshed.

Fast on time polite, truck mount worked fast and looks great 1 room only 60 dollars it was perfect for me prior to guests arriving they did what they said they would do and today that's not always common they do offer carpet treatment protection I got it to reduce stains from parties again cheap 20 dollars more. First class service!!! Very reasonable prices! Christian came out to clean the carpets today and we had an issue with painters who were not finished painting, he was kind enough to come back and work late on a Friday night. He had such a great attitude and did an excellent job for a great price..... what more could you want. Price quoted was the end price too.... which was really great. So, my digestively unstable little puppy had yet another accident while I was away at work. I'm talking, piles of poop all over the place on my WHITE carpet. After I dried my tears and could no longer see red, I gave this place a call and they were available to come the next morning. The receptionist was very courteous, cleaner guy was polite and friendly and the job took no more than a couple of hours. My carpet looks like new and there is no smell of poop at all, whew! Would definitely use them again.

What can say that has not already been said about this place. This is one of those businesses that delivers on their promise of fast, efficient, and respectful services. My wife and I have used them for everything from carpet cleaning to upholstery and tile cleaning. They have also cleaned the carpets in my vehicles. Not only are their prices very fair but the job is not complete until I was satisfied.
