Our dog (a puppy not too long ago) doesn't warm easily to strangers and hates it if she's ever left alone. We were worried about whether we would ever be able to leave home. Well, she is CRAZY about D is for Doggie, and I get the impression the staff shares the same fondness for her. She has also vastly improved her socialization skill around other dogs.
The service is incredible, and the personalized attention is the sort of top-notch business practice you rarely see anymore. You can find day-care and boarding businesses that are less expensive, but you get what you pay for. What I get is complete peace of mind that my little girl is one of the happiest dogs in the world.

I love love love this place. I trust the staff with my pug and know that he is receiving amazing care. My dog loves being here, and I know it because I can watch him on the webcam playing with his little friends. There is so much attention to detail at this place, and the service is top notch. They know me and my dog when I show up, they take him in for the night when I have a last minute out of town trip come up, and are reasonably priced. One time I was out front and one of the dog walkers, not even knowing my dog was coming that day, called him by name even though it had been a few weeks since my last visit. They even sent me a photo of my dog during one of my longer trips away. I would recommend D is for Doggy to anyone.
I took my puppy to a training course here. While the instructor was very good, my dog was not to good at learning to come to me and even though the teacher knew this, he didn't give me much additional help about the issue. I have also brought my dog here for daycare and I have been very impressed. I love the fact that they have cameras in each daycare room and you can watch the live feed from any computer! What a brilliant idea!
This place is just fantastic! We boarded our boston terrier, Oscar, for 4 nights and he didn't want to leave. The best part is watching him on their webcam play with the other dogs and how happy he is. We will definitely take him back the next time we go out of town.
I like to keep my dog's hair long and cub-like. I've tried out MANY groomers and my poor toy poodle always come back like someone else's dog. D is for Doggy really listened to my preferences and my dog looks great and you can tell that she is happy too. This place is wonderful. The place is cheerful. The staff is friendly and very professional. D is for Doggy is pricey, but I think it's worth it.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I totally would.
My husbands grandma passed away the day before Christmas Eve...AND we just moved to New York so we did not have a doggy day care/boading place. Everything was booked for the holidays and we needed to fly out the next day.
We called D is for Doggy and they were so overly nice and able to fit Toby in to be boarded. We arrived at D is for Doggy the next day and were greeted by the owner. She immediately remembered our conversation, welcome Toby to play time and offered her condolences.
The place was SUPER clean and actually did not smell of dog at all. They have 3 separate rooms as well as a backyard area. The dogs are separated by energy level. There are play structures in each room as well as various beds and couches for the dogs to sleep on.
This is a cageless boarding facility so that means that the dogs are supervised 24/7 and able to sleep in rooms vs. cramped boarding cages. They also have webcams so you can check on your pooch whie you are away.
When we went to pick up Toby today I don't think he even missed us. You could tell he had so much fun and that they treated him so well!
I would definetely take a cab just to take Toby back to this place.

100 percent AMAZING!!!!!!! they MORE than took care of my little fender.... you could even watch on the live doggie cam that broadcasted from the playrooms.... so, when we were missing him terribly, we got our fix. I would recommend this place above ALL others. It's clean, friendly, and we even got pics from the staff of his stay...

good enough :)
love this place. I took my 3 little yorkie girls there before for daycare and i was more than happy. the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean! It's a little pricy and i just wish they have sibling discount for my girls.
I LOVE D is for Doggy, and I wouldn't trust my little baby *anywhere* else. Gina (the owner) and her staff are 100% professional, kind, and attentive to the dogs in their care.

i thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this place. I took my dog for grooming- his hair was extremely tangled and he was in desperate need of some good bath. The place looks like a day care center for babies with a playroom for dogs, a separate room for grooming- and i think there were a couple of other rooms as well. There were plenty of staff members to help out, which was essential since the place was packed with dogs when I went. Anyway, a couple of hours later, my dog was fresh and clean with an adorable haircut. The staff is very friendly and attentive- they wanted to make sure that they would give my dog the kind of hair cut we would like, instead of simply shaving off his hair like other places I have had experience with. It was evident that they truly loved their job and cared for the dogs.
