I realize that D'angelo is a chain, but here's the deal. I grew up in New England (Rhode Island, to be exact) and I've always loved D'angelo. After I moved to New York when I was 9, I sorely missed it. When I moved back to Boston, I made sure to make up for lost time. They are infinitely better than Subway. The only sub shop that surpasses D'angelo is Zuke's Subs up in Plattsburgh, NY. I've always been satisfied with what I've gotten. I love the Italian combo, but it's oh so fatty. The bread and veggies are always fresh. Damn, now I'm hungry for D'angelo and there isn't one near me at work :(
