We got pizza delivered from here at work for lunch the other week. All around is was really good pizza. I was able to try the thin and deep. Both excellent. Their BBQ chicken pizza is good stuff but really messy.
They did say the pizza was going to be ready within 45 minutes but it didn't show up for an hour and a half. If I was with someone who wanted to get D'Agostino's I would be down but I think I am going to stick with Piece, My Pie and Art of Pizza for my pies.

I've been ordering delivery from either with the Lakeview or River West D'Agostino's for almost 5 years. Up until my Ah-Ha moment (as Oprah would say) - I proudly claimed D'Agostino's thin-crust pizza to be the best in the city! As some of the other yelpers have mentioned, their 'sweeter' sauce was (and still is) perfection in my eyes.
So like the typical girl when it comes to a relationship, we tend to overlook the bad and cling to all things that were good... well my relationship with D'Agostino's has been no different
Within the past year, I began to notice a disappointment everytime I ordered. Lately the River North's location has consistently delivered room temp pizzas that were typically border-line burnt (not a good combo)... which ends up masking the taste of their signature sauce that I love so much. I can't be the only one. Basically, I think they have some room for improvement these days... and like my analogy earlier, I'm finding it harder and harder to overlook the bad.

Excellent customer service even at a busy time. Thin pizza is excellent, but stuffed is only adequate for my tastes. The other food is good and the bar bright has easy to see TVs. A great place for a calm drink or meal.

we had a coupon for a free thin crust pizza so we used it. they said it'd take an hour for delivery but it took less so i liked that. pretty decent thin crust too :) we had spinach and garlic pizza. the salad dressing we got though tasted and looked like mayo even though it was supposed to be creamy garlic. so i'd stay away from that. pretty good for the money we would have paid hehehe.
you all know the routine re: pizza joints in chicago....you find a favorite, you eat it so much that it starts to fit into the "law of diminishing returns" and falls a bit on your pizza rating scale (but u still go back from time to time)...i bring you, Dag's.
For years this used to be me and mrs' fav pizza joint and we treated it as such, ordering it almost exclusively whenever "let's order a pizza tonight" came up. Well we may have overdone it, that and the fact that in the last few years we've come to love Piece, Crust, Metro to name a few.
But back to Dag's, it's more a 3.5 star and they still do a great thin crust pie. Their sauce is the highlight and we always tell them to put extra on, b/c it's a little skimpy on the sauce front, if not. It's still a place we order from but has taken somewhat of a backseat of late. Decent Wings, Mozz sticks and chicken fingers too.
The best hawaiian pizza I've ever had the pleasure of stuffing into my face in under 5 minutes was from here.
Granted, I was drunk. Granted, I hadn't eaten in about 10 hours. But I DEMOLISHED that pizza and it was super awesome.
I totally want to do it again, only I'll go to the one on Addison (it's closer to where I live).

Great thin crust pizza. It has a sweet sauce with a good blend of cheeses. The Wed night half price pizza deal is the best in the City! Dine-in only.

The best pizza delivery to Logan Square, period.
Thin crust and thick crust are both really solid/ The sauce is tremendously sweet and the crust seems to made of semolina flour. No need to venture into the wild toppings. The regular pizza is great on its own.
I have never actually been to the restaurant, but am a regular delivery customer. Delivery is always speedy and friendly.

Not gonna be reviewed on, Check Please! Don't get me wrong, I like this place. Mostly because of the staff! Especially on Sunday afternoons/eve. You can hang at the bar and everyone is just so friendly. I've watched Bears games here, and the TV is horrible. But for modestly priced drinks nice people and well....so so pizza, check it out. After all pizza is like tacos and hamburgers, it only has to edible enough to enhance the taste of beer.
2 stars for the pizza, 4 for the staff.

I've been cheating on Pizzeria Ora with D'agostino's. D'agostino's is much sweeter to me, beginning with the sauce, and like some of my fellow Yelpers, it's a good thing. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to move towards a couple of large pepperonis a week, but he's been resistant (although he too loves the sauce), I think because he's afraid I might turn into a giant pizza. They're usually much faster than they say they will be, and I have to admit that I've never eaten in house. So I'm still seeing Pizzeria Ora for the El Blanco, but increasingly sneaking in D'agostino's on the side. So fickle.

When you are drunk, the pizza here tastes amazing. When you are sober, it tastes like mediocre pizza. As for thin crust pizza in Chicago, I way prefer Brick's.

I seem to have an opposite opinion from everyone else - I LOVE their pizza. My boyfriend and I order it every weekend. It is thin like Monical's pizza but has sweet sauce like Papa John's. So if you like this style, you'll love this pizza. They also offer a variety of other pizza-joint pastas. They deliver, although it is usually delivered warm (not hot). I'd definitely recommend a try!

once again the elusive 5 star pizza is awarded for their thin crust pizza.
once upon a time i order in 1-2 times a week, and always the pizza. Paper thin pizza, so consider ordering a pizza one size up to make sure you are satisfied/full. I call this the pizza plus 1. during football season they have a great special, large 1 topping for $11. But back to the pizza, crispy crust, excellent cheese blend, tasty toppings. Plus they figured out how to make a paper thin pizza without the crust getting flooded in grease. For the best service dine in, the delivery process has been known to be delayed or error time to time, but that's probably just because of the insane amount of business they do. look at their other locations in lakeview and glenview.

Very average pizza for Chicago. i used to live not too far from this place and stopped by this place a few times and I was never impressed.
This is some of my favorite pizza in Chicago. For some reason, I think the Addison location makes just a bit better pizza, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to eat here if I was in the neighborhood. You've got to try the breadsticks as well, though they're not quite as good delivered. Overall, excellent pizza, good service and a parking lot! Nice...
This is the best delivery pizza in Chicago. Delivery pizza just never tastes as good as in the restaurant but this one does. It has sweet sauce and is awesome in the restaurant or at home. Pair it with garlic bread and it'll be your new favorite delivery place too.

I was rather disappointed after having dinner here. I had their bruschetta, which was mountain of tomatoes and olives on top of thick toasted french bread. It was ok, but not what I was expecting.
I order a deep pan Dag's pizza. Perhaps I would have been better off with the thin crust, but I figured Chicago was known for their deep pan pizza. The sauce wasn't that exciting, and the pizza was soggy.
I had a '312' beer, which is a local Chicago wheat ale. The beer was good, and came in a special glass.
Unfortunately, the beer didn't make up for the dinner, and I hate to say it, but I wish I had gone to Pizzera Uno's instead.

The pizza here is not great by any measure of the word. It has a sauce that just doesn't seem to do it for me. Although, for some reason, it works in their calzones. In any event, if you're looking for some good pizza in the area, there are much better options.
I love any place that delivers and the pizza here was actually really good! Their salads are great too, perfect combo for a night in!
Not too bad for pizza. We get catering a lot from them, and it's always one of the top catering choices. Prices aren't too bad either. Nothing too special though.
long day at work. stopped by and ate in. i was pleasantly suprised! the bartenders and waitresses are so nice!! good food (way better than delivery from the same place) and good drink specials.
i'll totally be back!

For a second I thought I was going to be the first to review it ,but of course not. The pizza here is Awsome! i like the thin crust with extra cheese and the usual that I get. To me its so good I have to eat like 6 pieces because its addicting to eat it so good. I dont know what these people are talking about it being so so..

I've given this place two shakes. Four big guys ordered a large pizza from here to split, and we threw half of it out because no one could eat a 2nd slice. I was told we forgot to tell them how they should cook it.
I'd highly recommend a real italian restaurant such as Oggi's Tratoria or Salernos for a good delivered meal.

The sauce it much sweeter than I like. Other than that it's decent. The people that work here are always really nice. Good place to stop to get a piece and a beer outside in summer after work.

Sometimes I only think this food is good because it's close to my apartment.

I have never eaten in the dinning room, so this applies to delivery only.
After 2 or 3 times in a row of having some issues with the delivery I gave up. If I remember correctly it always involved both being shorted an item AND still getting charged for the item. Food alone is just average pizza joint stuff.
It takes longer to get delivered to my house, but I long ago fell back to Lou Malnatti's since the proximity of this place in no way was going to make up for the food/delivery shortcomings.
