I really want to give this place more of a 3.5, but we'll go with 4 just because I like their beer selection.
I started coming to Cybelle's when it changed over from the Front Room and was please to find they were actually really decent. Definitely, though, you have to know what to order, just because not everything on the menu is amazing (although they are huge, so maybe that makes up for it?). I come here for the Prime Rib Special on Fridays and Saturdays. $14.95 for a huge slab of prime rib, 2 sides, and garlic bread. Not a bad deal. And their Timmy's Special Pizza is to die for. Pesto pizza with tomatoes, chicken, garlic, and garlic potato wedges. Definitely my favorite. I'm a little picky with my pizzas, but this hits the spot.
I have to deduct a little bit though just because parking is a b****. If it wasn't for the prime rib, I don't know if I'd do it. Also, I've tried some sandwiches and pastas here and they're just ehh.
But let's get back to beer. I love that they have Fat Tire. I could sit here, watch the Giants, and throw back Fat Tires and slices of Timmy's Special and be a happy gal. -

The people who run Cybelle's are really sweet and just good people.
If you're looking for a spot for a group outing or just want some basic American food - consisting of burgers, hearty pasta dishes, pizza, and appetizers such as onion rings, jalapeno poppers and such - then Cybelle's delivers. Their staff go out of their way to accommodate diners, and with a comfortable couch, wi-fi, and overhanging TV's in the place it's a place that just feels comfortable and homey.
Today we popped in to watch the end of game and even though we only ordered tea - their staff were so attentive, despite the place being packed with avid game watchers. They refilled our water glasses and tea mugs consistently though-out the evening and didn't try to pressure us to order anything else.
I kept on scanning their menu trying to find something light - to match our tea and found very few non-greasy grazing options, which means Cybelle's outside of big game nights and such - probably won't be too regular of a spot for me. But next time I'm looking for some late night big portioned Italian style food with a refreshing side of friendly faces - I'm going to be getting cozy at Cybelle's

We needed something quick, so the idea of a pizza slice came up. And this place was the closest.
After the initial shock of the cost of a slice, we were assured that they were "monster" slices. Then, 15 minutes later ("slices" are made to order)... The clambake is decent, although I wouldn't exactly call these "monster" slices. We're going to ask how long slices take next time we're in a pinch somewhere. -

Let's see....Where to start.
Overall this entire experience blew major donkey. The only part that seemed to go flawlessly was them taking my money so at least this place is good at something.
1st I call up and get asked 3 times to be put on hold and say yes three times - I get put on hold, then minutes later get taken off hold and get hung up on. I call back, get through and make my order.
Order: Blue Cheese Burger, Front Room Philly Cheesesteak, 2 Orders Buffalo Wings + 1 extra blue cheese sauce.
This place basically got everything wrong - it was something of a throwback to my high school cafeteria. Everything was mushy, cold, and needed hot sauce - particularly the Buffalo wings which came basically sauceless and not spicy AT ALL - yet somehow they were still slimy (trying not to reason that one out).
We kicked things off with the buffalo wings which I was told would come with 1 container of ranch and one of blue cheese for each order. Being an East Coaster who actually knows how to eat buffalo wings - I was particularly specific about needing the blue cheese and even ordered an extra container for an extra dollar.
No blue cheese came with the order. 5 containers of Ranch came instead. I know I sound like a prick writing this but I was polite on the phone so this was just straight up laziness. I'd love to go on a rant about that alone but I digress.
Blue Cheese Burger - well there was blue cheese on this guy but it was still nasty - not too much to say other than the fact that 1/4 of the sandwich is still sitting in front of me and I don't plan on eating it and at $40 bucks for the whole order I don't typically let food go to waste.
The same goes for the Philly Cheesesteak my buddy got. I won't delve too deeply there but suffice it to say that we're pretty unhappy.
Fries sucked - cold and mushy wedges.
Food coma is settling in and I'm running out of energy to keep the fire burning on this review. I'll end with this suggestion dont EVER order from here. This place sucks it seems like it's part of a chain and I hope someone from there reads this review and decides to close the entire chain down.
Thank you and Thank you. -

parking is difficult so you might have to park away and walk over.
Back in the Day, this used to be Front Room. Also, Cybelle's used to be everywhere and their pizza was DA BEST!
Since then, its changed. There aren't that many Cybelle's left, they closed down.
For this location, they bought Front Room and made it a combination of both. They serve pizza and burgers...wings. You have a large selection to choose from.
The restaurant is very nice. The people are great. The food is more than adequate. They give you such a large selection, everyone should be happy. Give it a go. I'd try their pizza.
Though, there are now a total of 5 pizza places over in that area. -

For a party of 20 on a Saturday night, we were able to get seated upstairs privately. It's a great atmosphere with equally great service.
The waiter was very attentive to our needs and constantly got us our water refills and other needs.
We started off with the sampler appetizer which consists of:
onion rings (nothing special about them)
stuffed mushrooms (little bland, a bit dissapointing)
buffalo wings (flavorful and meaty).
-Jalepeno poppers (not spicy at all)
-complimentary garlic bread (yum)
Some of the main dish:
-Carbonara (very dissapointed. it was extremely bland and plain)
-Seafood linguine (mixed with white and red sauce - delish!!)
-Pizza - forgot which ones but they were good
Overall the food is plain and bland. I rated this place 4 stars because the staff is super nice and catered to our needs, great for large groups, great atmosphere, and variety on their menu. -

Delicious! Hearty slices of pizza and huge burgers?! Perfect.
I got a chance to sit on the couches in front of the fireplace, and I have to say that the fireplace just completed the relaxed ambiance. -

Let me start by saying, I WANT to like this place. I really do. And my fiance and I have been customers for many years because it's a good concept: pizza (including slices), burgers, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, etc. - it sounds wonderful, right?
However...
1) Prices have gone up over the last couple of years and afterwards we're always left feeling "wow, that really wasn't worth the price"
2) Quality of food has gone down and gotten sloppy
3) Almost most importantly: their customer service SUCKS!! Every time we order for delivery we're told the same thing: 45 min to 1 hour for delivery. And every single time it's significantly over an hour. It might be fine to be over an hour if the person taking the order were just honest about the service for the particular night, but every time they quote a certain range and then are 10-30 minutes late!
Tonight we were told 50 min-1 hour for delivery and our food arrived after 1 hr and 25 min. When it did arrive, they had forgotten to include the pesto sauce we ordered and when we called to tell them about it and let them know that maybe they need to work on their customer service, the man hung up on us. Really? In addition, the burgers and fries we ordered were cold and rubbery by the time they arrived- no surprise since I'm sure they had been sitting around for who knows how long before the delivery guy left the restaurant.
And, last time we dined in, a couple sitting next to us ordered right before us and the waitress wrote our order on the same ticket- we had gotten our food and finished it and the couple next to us hadn't even gotten their food yet.
All of these problems are obviously due to bad management and bad organization. These people really don't know how to run a business! -

Let's just put it this way, I probably have eaten here way more than you have. I've known about this place since forever, and will probably keep eating here til the day I die. Believe it. The menu is so huge you could probably eat here every day and have something completely different for like a year.
In all honesty, I really do think this is just one of those burger/pizza/everything-else joints that ends up becoming that go-to staple restaurant in your life. It's affordable comfort food in a great location. Nothing wrong with that.
Recommend:
-Pacific Heights pizza - ranch sauce, sausage, linguica, lots of other stuff too, it's actually amazing. try it with pineapple
-Timmy's Special pizza - it's got pesto with potato wedges on it, that's a first
-garlic potato wedges, fried calamari
-chicken caesar salad with homemade croutons=the caesar dressing is awesome
-THE BURGERS. i usually get the lamb burger with onion rings. it's huge for what you get. they have a huge selection of burgers there's like maybe 10 different burgers you can get.
-chicken parm dinner is what a lot of people get here I've noticed with the scallop potatoes
-THEY HAVE PRIME RIB. that's no joke.
-seafood linguini with the white sauce. amazinggg I've probably ordered it too many times haha
-real GELATO ice cream. chocolate and mango are my favorite flavors.
For all the food you end up getting it's a very good deal. Who likes cooking at home anyway? You end up having to do the dishes haha.
They have a ton of regular customers that they've had for YEARS. I've seen them give Christmas presents to the owner, Timmy, because apparently he's just that great of a guy. I've actually talked to him many times and I can confirm that he is indeed hilarious.
MORE PROS:
*good to sit with friends and watch the game, they have comfy leather sofas and flat-screens
*seriously, what other pizza place also serves PRIME RIB??!! it's ridiculous. ridiculously awesome.
*probably the best pitcher specials in the entire area
*they finally got new granite tables
*they're open for brunch now! good omelettes and hash browns
*you can book their entire upstairs for private parties and there's a flat screen tv up there too
I'm always going to end up frequenting Cybelle's Front Room simply because it makes me, my stomach, and my wallet happy. -

This place has decent pizza and appetizers. They have free delivery, but not sure how far out they go. They also have online ordering service which is convenient. The pizza is usually alright, although we went tonight and we found it to be sort of dry, with little to no marinara in site.
Its decent, its clean, its near home, and the service doesnt suck. In a pizza bind while in the inner sunset, this place is a safe bet, I guess. -
Review from Nina Y.
I pass by Cybelle's every day going and coming from work. My bf also lives 3 blocks and we've never tried this place, and he's heard good things about it, so we decided to go in.
First impressions, it's a bit weird. It's an Italian place, but it has some French movie posters and Chinese banners. I figure that the owners are probably Chinese so the fortune signs made sense.
Since I was starving, we got lots of food. We ordered bread sticks, a medium Reiko's Favorite, and cheesecake. The bread sticks were not that warm when they came out, but they did come with ranch dressing so I liked it. The pizza was really good too. The toppings - spinach, red onion, meatballs, grilled onion and garlic - were a great combination with ranch as well. My boyfriend knows me so well - he chose something with red onions on it. The cheesecake was not that good. It seems like it was bought, so I was not amazed.
Overall, it was a pretty good dinner for $35. They have some good beers, but since I don't like beer, I didn't get any, but it seemed like it was a good price. -

Updating my review as I've tried many more things on the menu!
Service is consistently excellent. Servers are extremely attentive and my water glass is always full. The ambiance is nice and comfortable. They have two TV screens usually playing the big games and it's fun to sit in front of the fireplace on the couches, eat a slice, and watch the game.
Pizza: My favorite is still Timmy's Special, and I've turned many people on to it! It features a pesto sauce, with chicken, green onions, potato wedges, and tomatoes as toppings. It's amazing! There's nothing really "special" about the pizza, but it is solid and damn good.
Fried Zucchini Sticks: Uh, Yum!! Lightly battered and perfectly soft. I love me some good zucchini sticks!
Garlic Potato Wedges: Always delicious, a mix of small and large potato wedges fried until golden brown. They're not very garlicy to me, but are always perfectly seasoned.
Prime Rib Special (Friday and Saturday nights): I let the cat out of the bag years back and was kind of bummed as sometimes I would go in and they'd have already run out (call ahead)! I come here for their prime rib which is ridiculously affordable. I think it's around $13 for the regular cut, a healthy portion. If you're feeling hungry, you can get a larger cut for a few bucks more. It comes with a side of vegetables, and your choice of a baked potato, garlic potato wedges, fries, scalloped potatoes?? I think, I forget exactly. They serve the prime rib in a really DELICIOUS au jus. It's heavenly, ask for extra. I end up dipping my wedges in the au jus. The prime rib dinner also includes yummy sour dough garlic bread.
Tip - Order your meat one level rarer, I find that the au jus sometimes cooks the meat a little bit more. (ex. If you want it done well, order medium. If you want medium, order medium rare. If you want medium rare, order rare, etc.)
Chicken Sec: A nice, hearty portion served with a side of rice, fries, potato wedges, baked potato, or scalloped potatoes if order a la carte. The sauce is so tasty! Also includes vegetables.
Front Room Burger: Your basic burger with cheese, well cooked, and includes your choice of fries, garlic potato wedges, soup of the day, or salad. I've gotten this a couple of times and there's nothing much to dislike about it.
Minestrone Soup: This was a soup of the day. I love a good minestrone soup, and this one was perfect! I know people who love it chock full of stuff and I know people who like to drink broths. This was a perfect balance. Not too many beans, which make me feel bloated.
Clam Chowder: I think this was also a soup of the day. Creamy but not too rich, nice amount of clam in it. No complaints. If you like clam chowder, definitely consider this as your side.
P.S. If you want to have a private party, they have a great upstairs area.Listed in: The Hood

San Francisco, CA
My boyfriend and I were craving for burgers one night and decided to get some delivered to us. We looked up a few places and called Cybelle's Front Room. Unfortunately, they wouldn't do it because we live too far (across the park). But since we really wanted pizza, we decided to place a phone order and go pick it up ourselves.
From hanging up the phone, getting ready to go, and then getting there to pick up our order took us 15 minutes; when we got there, the food was already made and ready for us.
We got a mozzarella burger, a lamb burger, and a italian sausage burger. We got 2 sides of garlic potato wedges, and a side of soup. The mozzarella burger was okay, the lamb burger was gross, and the italian sausage burger was PHENOMENAL. It was juicy, meaty, really flavored, still scalding hot (I love it when my food is hot when they're supposed to be), and it was a pretty big burger. It wasn't a traditional round burger, it was sort of rectangular and that made it easier to grab/more to eat. The garlic potato wedges were good too; nice big chunks of potato wedges nicely flavored. I don't remember much about the soup, it wasn't as fantastic as a spicy and sour soup.
I would definitely go back for the italian sausage burger again! -

OK....I'm a foodie and this place didn't know what they were doing....
The chefs/managers should stick to something they know....this place looks like an Italian restaurant mixed in with Chinese and French posters on the walls. Menu items are from all over....Italian Pizzas and Pastas, Japanese Teriyaki to Garlic noodles.... Focus on one style and this place could be better....
I ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce. It was passable. However, my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Piccata and it tasted like Chicken Teriyaki. No lemon zest. No white wine sauce. They did sprinkle on the capers though. It was a strange tasting dish. He couldn't finish his dinner it was so weird....
This is definitely a place I would NOT recommend.... -

If you know me, then you know how lazy I am to get my butt out of the house to get food on my days off. I was craving hamburgers because I was watching an episode of Man vs Food the night before. Did a little research on yelp and I found this place, burgers and delivery!
Placed an order online and within minutes I receive a call from them, I thought they were going tell me, "sorry, we cannot fulfill your order due to reason x." But they were just calling to confirm my order, which I thought was nice. 40 long starving minutes later the food arrives (minutes feel like hours when your stomach is screaming at you to feed it)! I got the mozzarella burger with avocado and the boyfriend got the mushroom burger with garlic potato wedges, of course the buns were a little soggy and that was to be expected. The overall taste of the burger itself was okay, nothing special and not all that flavorful. The boyfriends mushroom burger was okay as well, the mushrooms were good! Ah, and the garlic potato wedges didn't taste garlic-y at all.
Overall, the food was okay but I probably won't be ordering burgers from here again, maybe pizza next time! -

They get 2 stars only for their calzones; otherwise, their pizza was so awful, I would have given Cybelle's 1 star.... The Calzones, so far, have been pretty good.
I've also gotten buffalo wings, which were essentially fried chicken wings. I asked the man behind the register what happened with the sauce and he said they just marinate the wings in the sauce. I was speechless. Cybelle's, Buffalo Wings are not Buffalo wings if they are not tossed in Buffalo sauce after they come out of the fryer.
The reason I rated them is below 3 stars is their pizza. It's AWFUL!!!! Think Ellios or some other crappy frozen pizza and you have CyBelle's pizza. And it was so expensive! Paying almost $27 for even the best dough, cheese, mushrooms, and sauce is still way too much!
Let me describe the pizza in full detail: the dough was tasteless, the crust was thick and pretty soggy, the cheese had the texture of plastic (I think they used very low fat/no fat mozzarella) and it was flavorless (you know, Cybelle's, they sell pizza cheese mixes that have up to 5 different types of cheese and that does wonders for a pie), and the sauce--ugh! Awful, awful; it was on the sour side and was jam packed with oregano. I like oregano, a lot, but the sauce they use just tasted like oregano and sour. Gross. -

I've ordered from Cybelles several times because of its proximity and availability. The following are things I've ordered and the pertinent experiences:
BBQ Chicken pizza 12": PRICEY. Decent in taste.
Deluxe antipasto salad: I used to order this with extra mozzarella. I really liked it until my gf got it and the salami smelled like old, unwashed dog. I thought, "Okay. Could've been a fluke." I ordered this a couple more times after that incident and both times, the salami was bad. Smelled and tasted really old.
Four seasons sampler: Okay. Nothing spectacular. Just mediocre in every aspect.
Garlic bread: GOOOD.
Garlic potato wedges: Pretty good.
Jalapeno poppers: Good but you can feel your arteries clogging, which clearly is an indication of tasty food.
Fries: Decent.
Meatball calzone: Okay...
Pepperoni calzone: Pretty good.
Chicken parmesan: Chicken didn't taste good. I cooked it some more in the oven, and it tasted much better. However, I don't expect to get take-out food to cook it some more.
Chicken a la crema/Chicken Sec/Drunken Chicken: Same story as with chicken parmesan.
Fish and chips: Just okay. Maybe even a little below average.
NY Steak: SOOO mediocre. I'm not sure they know how to cook meat there. Chicken and beef suck here.
Blue burger/ Baron burger/ Bacon cheese burger: None of them were good. With Darla's down the street and Jenny's burger not too far either, I am no longer going to waste my breath, eating these burgers.
Despite the mediocrity in taste, I thought it wasn't bad enough to deter me from going to Cybelle's. I stopped going here after I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and it came out to over 10 bucks. That's quite pricey. There are PLENTY of alternatives around 9th that are cheaper and better. -

According to Yelp, 2 stars mean, "Meh. I've experienced better." All I can say is, TRUE STORY! When I think about Cybelle's, I think "MEH" as far as atmosphere, service, and quality are concerned.
The food is overcooked, the service is unfriendly, and the quality is not there.
I say pass on the wilted salad with expired salami (antipasto salad), overpriced pizza, stale and overfried fries, and just keep walking... -

Tried to order a sandwich for delivery. I would usually walk down, but I had put my back out (which I explained..although I'm not sure whoever answered the phone was listening). I was told they don't deliver on orders under $15. It's on the website, fair enough, I didn't notice. However, it's pretty poor if you can't go that occasional extra mile for the customer, especially someone that lives in the neighborhood and is likely to be a regular patron. I won't be back.

I've given Cybelle's a few tries but I think it is a little over rated. Like others have said, their pizza is way to soggy for my liking. I'm not a fan of having to deal with stringy cheese that just won't quit. Also, I don't think their prices make a whole lot of sense.
The last time I came in last week there was some sort of political event. Instead of just closing the restaurant like most places would, they still seated us, but upstairs. It was one of the most awkward meals I've eaten in a long time! Bleh, not again. I can get pizza somewhere else. -
Review from Julia K.
The clam pizza is pretty darn good! One slice really means TWO. Yum!
I love how they use Marco Polo Ice Cream in their desserts. The affogato is definitely a winner (Marco Polo Vanilla Ice Cream with a shot of espresso served in a cute martini glass).
I honestly didn't have much to eat here because we ventured to this place after we had a full dinner and dessert! The food we got here served as our second dinner and second dessert! Crazy, I know.
But anyway, we watched the second half of the Giants post season game #1 against the Braves. Great crowd, and big TVs. There are three flat screens downstairs and one upstairs.
Great place to watch your SF Giants play...and WIN! -

I love to walk down here and get some dinner on a casual weekday night. They have pretty good beer specials on most days, and the casual atmosphere makes you feel like you can chill here for a few hours with friends... no rush.
The pizza is actually really good. If you build your own slice it's not that expensive and is pretty filling.
The rest of the food used to not be great, but the last two times I've been in, it was markedly better. I'm hoping that's a permanent change. -

This place is about as comfortable as you get for the Inner Sunset. Located on 9th Ave right next door to Craigslist World HQ, it offers American-Italian dishes, pizza, and a range of burger and some seafood options. A few decent brews on tap. Beers in a bucket for happy hour, a good fireplace for cold foggy nights, sports on TV and ... it's not a bad place to spend a casual dining hour.
And special call-out for the Tiramisu gelato, which comes comped with a dinner option. -

I came to Cybelle's on a Tuesday evening, around 6:15 p.m in a group of 5. We were the first group for dinner that night, and the waitress seemed to be caught a bit off guard when we got there. I was kind of surprised that they don't have a table big enough for 5 people always; but it was fine, she pushed together a couple of tables and we were seated.
We were given 4 menus and 4 waters (even though there were 5 of us.) The fifth water did come out a little bit after.
We ordered:
-Four Seasons Sampler appetizer ($10.95) which had:
-Onion Rings (About 6): crispy and golden brown. They didn't have much onion in them. They were very much just like eating fried batter. But they tasted good enough with the side of ranch.
-Hot Wings (About 5): Fairly meaty, but also kind of fatty pieces of chicken. They were hot and covered in a generic buffalo wing sauce.
-Stuffed Mushrooms (About 6): These small mushrooms were either stuffed with sausage or cheese. I tried the sausage (there wasn't enough for us to try both types) and it was okay, just tasted like a regular piece of sausage from on top of a pizza.
Overall, the appetizer was really "a-ok," as the three-stars signify. Everything tasted decent, but nothing really stood out, and at $10.95, I hoped for a little bit more.
-The largest size pizza (12 slices, about $22 depending on which pizza you decide on). The pizza was pretty big and plenty of food for us. The crust is pretty doughy and generic. Once you finish your pizza and reach the crust, it does make a decent breadstick for dipping in ranch.
1/2 Hawaiian: Your typical, simple Hawaiian pizza: Ham and pineapple. They put a fair amount of toppings on the pizza and a hearty layer of tomato sauce. The Hawaiian pizza was decent, but didn't really have much pizzazz.
1/2 #8 Reiko's Favorite: (Spinach, red onion, meatball, chicken and garlic) I was expecting this pizza to have a lot of flavor with the garlic and onion, but like everything else, it was pretty plain. I could tell that the ingredients were good quality, and the pizza was pretty to look at, but it was lacking in flavor.
Overall, the whole experience was just "a-ok." We were there celebrating an occasion, and we asked the waitress to take a picture for us, and she was really weird about it. She took the camera and quickly said "1, 2, 3" and took the picture before our group even had a chance to scoot our chairs together and smile. We asked her to take one more and then she quickly ran off, even though there were only one or two other tables occupied in the restaurant. The food came out not very quickly, but it wasn't too long of a wait, maybe about 20 minutes. Throughout the meal, the waitress let our table enjoy our meal and didn't really ever check in on us. I'd say my experience at Cybelle's is about 2.5 stars, but the company I was with will bump it up to 3 stars. I don't think I'll be back, but I could see the appeal of the restaurant to others. They do have a variety of offerings on their menu, including seafood, pastas and burgers. So if you need variety, this could be your place. (My friend really likes this restaurant, so maybe it's just me.)
Notes:
-They have a comfy-looking couch in front of a fireplace. So if you're looking to have a pizza and relax on a couch, I guess this is the place for you.
-It's located on 9th Ave, which can be pretty busy. Try looking for free street parking a block or two away. -

I give it two stars for the food plus one extra star for the good service that you get once they've screwed up your order.
The first time I ate here the forgot to put our order in, so we were waiting for about 15 minutes after we ordered and they told us that they didn't put it in so we had to wait longer. I believe this was the owner, and he was extremely nice and apologetic. And at least he owned up to his mistake instead of trying to cover it up. Anyway, the pizza was ok - the crust was good but the toppings and sauce itself were pretty flavorless. I suggest to them to put more garlic and a bit more salt in their sauce, and maybe to sautee some of their veggies before they put it on the pizza so they don't come out dry. Anyway, he took off 10% of our bill because of his mistake, but then I found out I'd have gotten 10% off anyway for being a UCSF student! Oh well.
The second time I went I ordered the linguini with clams. When I got it, it was a nasty cream sauce. I looked on the menu and nowhere did it say that it was in a cream sauce...it said a "garlic wine sauce" or something like that. Ummm...that doesn't sound like cream sauce. Anyway, I didn't complain but I also didn't eat much of the dish. When the owner saw it he asked me if anything was wrong, and I said I didn't know it would be cream sauce because it didn't specify it on the menu. I asked for it to be boxed up and instead he insisted on remaking it for me again, but this time with the proper sauce. When I got it, it was ok. Nothing special. So, the food here is alright (they need bolder flavors) and the service is great, but I think the kitchen staff and the chef needs to reevaluate the menu and get it together. -

Summary: Good food and variety + wonderful people!
I've done take-out and delivery more times than I care to mention from Cybelle's. The Club Sandwich (served on wheat - nice) with some nice fat fries (although you can get garlic fries or a salad for the same $) is one of my fave "comfort foods". The Calzone's are very well done (for the West coast, anyway). The "Timmy's Special" pizza with pesto, chicken, green onion, and garlic potato wedges is a blast (sounds strange - tastes great!). The Chef's Salad has more meat than most sub sandwiches in the neighborhood and is quite yummy. And the burgers are also good. Come to think of it, don't think I've had anything "bad" from here.
Their catering service is also top-notch. The owner (Tim) personally worked with me on a short-notice event providing great price, terrific food, on-time delivery...he even was willing to stop by a local coffee shop and bring their stuff down for me as well.
I could go on-and-on, but it's almost dinner time and think I'll wind down this long (Labor Day) weekend with some Cybelle's! -

Maybe delivery isn't their strong suit but everything I ordered was barely edible. The burgers are bland, the buns are rubbery, thankfully the fries were OK after I reheated them - they were ice cold upon arrival.
Wasting food hurts but I can't bring myself to eat it. This is bad experience number two - I was thinking the first bad experience was a fluke. After two meh-meals I can't say I will return.
Reasonable prices don't mean much when you throw away half of your order, you feel silly and are still hungry. -

This place has some dope ass Pizza! I haven't tried any of the other stuff on the menu since i've only been here once, but the pizza I had was pretty good.
I had two slices, one was a pesto pizza with potato and the other one had some chicken on it and I must say that these were delicious because I loved it and I wasn't drinking.
Also has a good amount of beer on tap to wash down the food. Our server was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Too bad there really isn't any good pizza joints by my place that isn't corporate. If this was down the street I would be grabbing slices for lunch on the daily!Listed in: American Food

Pizza by the slice is made to order!!! Wow...........that's impressive. Most pizza joints just leave a whole pie underneath a heating lamp and serve it up by the slice. This place, however, makes everything on the spot. Talk about having it your way.
Burgers are certified Angus beef that is brought in daily.
Lamb burgers are grounded on the premise
Buffalo wings are great. This is the way I like my wings.
First off, I don't like pizzas to begin with and I hate pizza crust. I am the type of guy that even don't like the crust on bread. So when they made this triangular by the slice pizza, all 3 sides are crusted. If you like the crust on the pizza then this is perfect for you guys. I personally didn't like it. I ordered the sausage mushroom and bell pepper pizza and my friend and I shared a Hawaiian pizza.
The mushroom burger was very good. It actually tasted very good and the onion buns that it comes with was a great compliment. Restaurants don't use wedged fries anymore, so it was a pleasant surprise when they offered it.
Overall, it was good and this is coming from a guy that don't like pizzas. I would probably stick with the burgers, wings, and the wedged fries. Will probably check out the pasta dishes next time. -

When I dined in here, the service was mediocre. The pasta was mediocre as well. However I still continue to get pizza for pick up because of the convenience. The chicken is a pretty big hit or miss. The 4 times I had it, it was either really really good, or just really really dry. Oh also, once it's cold the pizza is meh... but it's pretty good when it's hot/fresh (just like any other pizza right? haha).
I like the Pacific Heights and the Reiko's Special the best. -

I can't believe myself that it has been such a very very long time since the last time... I have eaten a Deep Dish Pizza which was at Uno's Pizzeria when it used to be one at the Embarcadero now it is not there anymore what a shame not to have a Uno's Pizzeria!!! Oh well, I found another location that has a Deep Dish Pizza this time... I went for a Sausage & Pineapple Deep Dish Pizza for a pick up which was at Cybelle's Front Room of 9th and Judah... Which was a first time for me ordering a Deep Dish Sausage & Pineapple Pizza and it was fun for me that once again... I get to eat a Deep Dish Pizza after for so many many years since the last time, I ate it which was at the Uno's Pizzeria of the Embarcadero!!!

This place was completely and absolutely mediocre.
We ordered delivery tonight, from Cybelles, and had the Fettucine Carbonara, and Garlic Bread. The bread was good (Then again, how do you fuck up garlic bread?) However the pasta was basically ham and noodles with a bland cream sauce.
Traditionally, this dish should be prepared with pancetta, however it was pretty obvious they took the left over canadian bacon from the pizza side of the restaurant and threw it there... it was so bad I ended up making myself a salad, and just eating the bread.
Won't be ordering from here again. YUCK -

I pass this place twice a day on my commute, so it's been on our list of places to try. Tonight was a pizza and movie kind of night, so my girlfriend suggested we give Cybelle's a shot. What a mistake!
The food is pretty mediocre...two star fare, perhaps three if you get it hot and there happens to be someone there who doesn't overcook the chicken they're planning to use. Our luck tonight? Batting a solid goose egg. Sorry, folks, but you lose a star for charging $40 for a pizza and a couple of two liter bottles of soda and then delivering a soggy, congealed, room temperature pizza with over-cooked ingredients an hour later.
To add insult to injury, when we called to complain, all we got were excuses and the manager actually had the audacity to fault us for expecting hot pizza. Top it all off with a refusal to credit back anything on the card unless we let them have the partially consumed pizza and soda back, and you take away another star and ensure we will never give them our money.
It's hard to imagine that in this day and age, a pizza place can possibly think it's okay to treat customers like this. Just to be clear, we called up another local place and got a better pizza for half the price, and it took them half the time to deliver. -

I love coming to this pizza spot, there's never a wait and on game nights theres plenty of tvs to watch. Last time I went they had some pitcher specials and a good variety of beers on tap. The pizzas are delicious, especially the combination. Wings are tasty and always end up ordering some. The only problem is trying to find parking around here, it can get really packed on the weekend.

Although I've eaten their pizza in the past, I don't remember enough details to write a review about that. This review is solely based on a recent dining experience when I ordered pasta instead of pizza.
I got out of work early that night. I think it was around 10 PM when I walked into the restaurant. There were a few other patrons dining inside. A waitress greeted me and asked me to take a seat anywhere. A waiter walked over to me, greeted me and handed me a menu. The front and back one page menu is huge. The waiter took my drink order and allowed me more time to study the menu and at my request allowed me even more time once he brought my beverage to me. I tend to have these moments where I'm really dumbfounded and I don't know what I want to eat. I know; people hate that.
When I finally put down my menu the waiter walked over immediately to take my order. I decided on the Seafood Linguini with a white cream sauce (red is also an option). I chose the dinner which includes soup or salad and gelato or cheese cake. I had the minestrone to start. The soup came out right away, but it looked like the server had overfilled the cup and had to pour some of the soup back out as the sides of the cup was covered in soup residue (http://static2.px.yelp...). The soup was good in taste but the veggies were chopped up a bit small. Everything was super soft including the beans and the pasta.
The entree arrived a very short time later along with a quarter loaf of garlic toast. The garlic toast was incredible. Slightly charred along the edges but toasted up crispy with lots of garlic spread on top and a nice soft center. I wish I had more. The linguini (http://static2.px.yelp...) was equally a hit. The linguini was soft to the bite but not too soft and although the menu didn't state so I tasted just a hint of wine in the white cream sauce. There are a few larger shrimp on top with several whole scallops, but the more times I scooped up the sauce the more bits of seafood I discovered on the bottom, chewy clams, tender scallops and baby shrimp along with big pieces of mushroom, a fair amount of chopped garlic and freshly chopped green onion.
I guess the waiter didn't think I could eat all of that food because when he started to ask whether he could wrap up some of my dinner to take with me he suddenly noticed I had eaten everything in the bowl. He kidded with me about wrapping up the empty bowl to take with me.
Even though I had finished the entree he still offered to refill my beverage with my dessert order. I chose the Marco Polo gelato. The waiter rattled off some five or six flavors, but I kept it simple and asked for vanilla (http://static1.px.yelp...). As anticipated the gelato was good and stretchy, quite smooth and a perfect way to end an excellent meal.Listed in: Viva Italia!, A Seafood Odyssey

Beer at $5.75 per pitcher during Tues, Thursdays, and Sat (forgot what time til what time) is unbeatable!
I wasn't really craving for pizza but wished that someone would of ordered pizza so I could give it a try.
I ordered the Fish and Chips ($9.95) gets you four large pieces of ocean-fresh fish deep-fried 'til golden & crispy. Served with French fries and sides of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. I've had better Fish and Chips but their fish and chips weren't bad. French fries didn't seem fresh, seemed more like frozen ones but, fries are fries so I still ate all of them!
My friend ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer and boy was it TINY!!! It's like the size of a quarter! I didn't eat it so I can't write how it tasted like but heard it was just OKAY.
Service was friendly but slow and they got my order messed up so I had to be the only one not eating and drooling looking at everyone chowing down their food.
