Review from Rinky N.
East Bay
Made a special trip here today. I fell in love with one of their tops that I bought recently at Cabaline in Point Reyes Station (see previous review).
Not a huge selection but enough that I found two comfy tops.
As the name states Cut Loose is just that. If you prefer tight, clingy clothes than this is NOT the place for you. If you'd rather have cottony clothes that come in nice colors that drape than this is your place.
Not cheap. Since it is my pre-birthday I splurged. I ended up spending around $75 for the two tops. But unlike some cheaper clothes I buy and never wear (ie mostly things I think I will wear some day when I lose those pesky pounds) these clothes fit now! -

Update 2/11/07
Okay, I still love the clothes, and granted it was the first day of their huge sale, which should not be missed if you are a fan, BUT, I do have a problem when the employees are behind the counter talking about a customer, even though she was a freak. You're supposed to wait till the other customers leave, before you start talking about them! The same employee, when she came out form behind the counter, to tidy, very loudly said to a co-worker that she couldn't believe how messy a certain area was, and can you believe people would do this? Yes, I can, we see it all the time. I may not be so inclined to go back if she's working.
Great shop for deeply discounted cut loose clothing. Monthly, they have extra sales. I'm not sure of the actual discount, but my best guess is 1/2 off. The racks are always full and there is always a good selection of colors and sizes. Lots of cotton, linen, and tencel. Mostly drapey, comfortable clothes. -

Review from Helen L.
I really like their clothes. I try to go there to their sale on the first Fridays and Saturdays of the beginning of the month. They have a backroom "seconds." I usually find something to buy. Yes, there may be a slight flaw, like a tiny hole to big holes, depends on how creative you are at mending or hiding the flaws. The price is right, from $5 to no--more-than $30. I saw this great blazer, but it was $30. It was very worth it, but it was out of budget. If you like organic, cotton, and simple designs-this is your place.

Good variety of linen and cotton clothing here, but not always what I consider to be outlet prices. If you know your prices you can make some great purchases. Sizing is a little tricky and not as predictable as most other lines. Put your name on the mailing list to get notified of sales.
