We absolutely LOVED working with Custom Celebrations during the planning of our wedding. We live in Orange County but our wedding was in the Bay Area so we needed someone local to help with all the details...we decided on Custom Celebrations to help us during this process.
We wanted someone who would give us the flexibility to plan our vision of what we wanted our wedding to be, yet be there to orchestrate all the details on the "Day Of..."
We worked with Katherine and she absolutely helped us create what we had envisioned. She was extremely organized, and was excellent with communication and follow through. We were consistently on the same page about everything, and it was because Katherine was so good with communicating with us...it made the entire process so easy, and fun!!
To this day, we still receive compliments about how elegant, yet fun, our wedding was -- and we knew we could not have pulled it all together without Katherine from Custom Celebrations.
We highly recommend Custom Celebrations if you are thinking about hiring a Wedding Event Planner -- it is a great investment if you want your wedding planning AND wedding day to be as stressfree as possible!!
As you brides can attest, planning a wedding is highly stressful and can certainly bear its toll. We enlisted the help of Katherine of Custom Celebrations to help us with the "day-of" details, but she did so much more. As soon as she became our coordinator (about 2 months before the wedding), she was communicating with us, the vendors, and especially our site coordinator. She always conveyed any information to us and confirmed that we (us, Katherine, the vendors) were all on board. She helped us negotiate some deals and even went with us to pick out the reception rentals! Katherine not only is very good at what she does, she made us feel comfortable and had our best interest in mind. On the day of, we had a few little quirks, one being that our ceremony was outside with crazy gusts of wind, but Katherine was always cool, collected, and there to ensure that things went smoothly. She continued to be our biggest supporter and voicebox up till the last guest left.
There are so many details during the planning process and during the wedding day that having a coordinator is definitely worth it. We highly recommend Katherine for her expertise, professionalism, organization, excellent communication, and very importantly, for being a really nice and easy person to work with.
