Oh dear. I think it's the owner I don't like. Too bad. The other gals working in here are super sweet though.... Updating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Coffee: 5 stars.

Mexican mochas are delicious. They don't pander to the 2% milk crowd. It's full fat or nonfat.
I live in San Francisco & parents live in Camp Meeker, so we've had numerous opportunities to enjoy Cup O' Mud.
Today, the "barista" continued to talk with her friend about her troubled marriage for 5-10 more minutes, not acknowleding that we had crammed into the 4x5 ft. waiting space. Ok fine, you don't need to bow down to the customer, I get it. Fine. But seriously, like, be somewhat pleasant.
We get the "locals only" attitude, but bitch, get over yourself.
My parents are more frequent visitors. My dad has this to say: "Last weekend we got a toasted onion bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon and it was DELICIOUS!!!"
He also notes that each time he's been in, they have been out of the Saint Benoit Yogurt.
We'll still go there. Will we feel warm and fuzzy about the employees? No, but once that caffine starts pulsing through our systems, who cares? -

Best place to grab a double capp and breakfast burrito before the sun comes up. It's tiny and you'll inevitably meet the handful of locals that keep the place in business in between your touristy visits. The barrista was friendly as all get out, so maybe we were just lucky.

A great hole-in-the-wall cafe (there is only seating on nice days, on the porch) that makes the ultimate cup of coffee. Their hot chocolate is also tops, and they sell the charming Bodega Cook Book, full of local recipes, and Saint Benoit Yogurt, which comes in recyclable ceramic jars and is flavored with homemade plum jam. Delicious.
