You'd either love or hate the cheap ass Mustangs but I'm not a big fan of the coughing nails in general. The sandwiches are kind of bad but they have LUNCHABLES and since no place closer to Marlboro College has LUNCHABLES it must be noted as a magnificent positive.

And the cheap slurpees. Every had a hankering for a slurpee in mid-February in a snowstorm? Only have a buck? No problem! If you can survive the drive down, you can have a slurpee. Quite nice.

    Chill out at Cumby's!

This Cumberland Farms opened in West Brattleboro in 2007. I was at the grand opening last summer when 96.7 WTSA did a live broadcast and gave out lots of freebies such as free food, coolers, and gift cards. The nice manager even greeted all the customers with cool coupons. This newly constructed store inside looks very nice and modern compared to the older Cumbys in New England and NY. They offer the basic convenience store items plus prepared foods, sandwiches, cold drink station and coffee bar. This is one of my pitstops for gas (tank up for the long mountainous drive), coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and clean restrooms.

The gas prices here are competitive to the other gas stations along Route 9. Lately, the gas prices at Cumby's seem to be the lowest in the area and in the State of Vermont.
