Review from Karen G.
Whats not to like?
Snack packs that arent on the mneu that are cheaper than 44 for lunch- burger, fries AND drink.
Fresher burgers than most, cheese curds, tasty chicken. Cute guy at drivethruwindow during weekday lunch.
And my favorite part- yes they are slower than some chains.
But I love watching the kids that bring the food out- run, RUN like they are chased by the devil -- to bring you your food in your car.
I feel like a Queen. Hee, Hee...... -

Culver's as a chain has great burgers.
My coworker and I (both of us adults) often get the kid's meals (chicken tenders) because you it comes with a scoop of icecream (flavor of the days are the best!). Once you collect 10, you get a free meal.
This particular store has really friendly customer service. When you go through the drive-thru, the workers literally run to your car to drop off your order. -

Chains are always sort of hard to rate for me.
I mean its Culvers.
We all know what to expect by now don't we?
Butter burgers, cheese curds, concrete mixers, and weird specials (I think wall eye was what it was when I was there last).
The food quality and cleanliness is pretty much standard here.
The service is pretty hit or miss. I mean they're always friendly, always. Sometimes they're fast, sometimes they're annoyingly slow. I don't blame this on them so much as they get super busy so I understand.
Either way its super close to my house so I hit it up fairly often and will continue to do so in the future. -

These aren't around in the city, so when I visited my grandfather in the 'burbs and he suggested we go here, I didn't know what to expect.
I was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly, food was very tasty. We went right at the end of lunch rush near a very busy area, and the place was pretty spotless.
I'd go again when I'm in the area. -

The food is way too greasy here.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a health nut by any means, but Culvers pushes the limits for me. And they don't seem to have much of a "less-greasy" side to their menu at all. -

I crave Culver's whenever I leave the Midwest, and currently living in Nashville makes me crave it even more!
Culver's has the best quality burger meat, with succulent beef juices oozing with buttery flavor, with fresh vegetables and cheese, in between a fresh, soft bun. I used to eat this at least 3 times a week in Chicago, until I went on a trip to Wisconsin Dells, and read the nutrition facts of a Double Deluxe value meal, which is about 1200-1500 calories. That was a complete buzzkill.
It's still the greatest American burger, and I'm always tempted to drive to the nearest Culver's to Nashvile, which is in Bowling Green, KY. Because their burgers are just SO GOOD!!! -

this Culvers location i my favorite, AND it's around the corner from my house. they give dog treats of you take your pooch to the drive through :- D i've said this once and i'll say it again Culvers is "Burger King done right." if you want that flame broiled taste - go here. The pickles, lettuce and onion are crispy and fresh. The frozen custard is really good and the cheese curds are to die for (order extra marinara and thank me later). Best super fast food around (by "super fast" i'm talking the Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger Kings of the world)
the bathrooms are clean. the pop fountain is out on the floor (can you say free refills) and the staff is all a-ok in my book. -

4 stars-- 1) Extraordinary customer service and product knowledge 2) freshly prepared food 3) variety of desserts and snacks 4) food tastes great!
The friendly employees are just an added bonus to make me coming back!
This might possibly be my 'In n' out' of the midwest :) -

Step into a Culver's and you'll experience fresh, delicious food served with a great big side of friendly smiles and warm hospitality.*
That is all.

This is fast food at its unhealthiest, but also very tasty... cheese curds, frozen custard that tastes a little eggy... and butterburgers (!).
I ordered the cheese curds and a small chocolate malt, and they asked me to park just at the end of the drive-thru to wait a few minutes for my order to be completed. They were not at all busy from a glance at the parking lot and the drive-thru so I was surprised.
Everything tasted as cholesterol laden delicious as it should be though. Finger lickin' good. They even have a little outside seating area if you chose to linger and the weather's nice. -

This review is geared 100% toward the fish and custard and no other part of the menu. The Cod is delicious. I remember growing up on Long John Silvers and Arthur Treachers before they either became disgusting troths of crud (LJS) or went out of business (AT), The fish at culvers is so light and filling. Two pieces of this fish and the mounds of fries they give you and you are done for the day. Custard is yummy, too. A bit expensive, but very good.

The cooks don't wear gloves. I won't be eating at any Culver's until this changes.

I LOVE Culver's -- the food is good, the custard is great and I go by just to see what the flavor of the day is(need to start riding my bike more tho if I want to keep eating it!), but the service is haphazard. This Culver's is new, the service is getting better, but if you use the drive through, I'd check the bag before I got home.

Just thinking of Culvers makes me salivate. Even though the butter burgers, the shakes, and the custard cones are all wonderful, and of course, fattening. It is my indulgence when I am in Downers Grove.

This is a real family place. You can go for dinner or just ice cream. You can sit inside or outside when it is nice out.
We go here a lot---I love their pot roast sandwich! -

Culvers is hands down, the best fast food burger place around. If I had to choose between your standards....McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, etc.... Culver's is at the top of my list. Thier menu has a decent variety of items to pick from and the quality and portions of the food have always been good. And of course there is the custard!!! This is what separates Culvers from the others. It's hard to walk out after eating dinner without a little custard for desert. As for the Downers Grove facility, I have been to the Carole Stream, Lombard, and Addison Culver's and I think Downer's is the cleanest and is staffed with compitent employees who are freindly and helpful.
