Category: Hair Salons [Edit]
Neighborhoods: Northwest, LodoI came here based on the reviews I read of this place and boy was I very, very dissappointed. My hairstylist was very nice, but didn't seem to listen to what I wanted done to my hair. I ended up with a horrible haircut that cost $40. My hunt for a good salon in Denver continues.

Super nice salon. The cut I received isn't so bad either! Of course that's a matter of opinion but Chad did an amazing job. I went in with a picture and an idea as to what I wanted. Chad took the picture, added a lot of his creative hair genius, and I now have a really cool, sorta funky cut.
The other stylist, as I glanced around the salon, seemed to be really into their clients as well. It's not like some places where you have stylist trying to juggle 2-3 clients at once.
Give it a shot! I'm certain you wont be disappointed.

Fairly new to the area, I asked some girls I knew with awesome cuts, to recommend where to go. The same words spilled from both of their mouths: Crush. I set my appointment and crossed my fingers. Stylist have the tendency to make my hair form into a bell jar. Devon is fa-bu! The moment you see her you wish you could steal her hair. Hair envy is a fair good predictor if you'll mesh with the stylist. I wouldn't trade her for anything. When she was done with my eyebrows, it was like I had a face lift.
The staff are fun and hip, all awhile listening to every word and want you have while handing you water and coffee.
Add some time to your appointment to find a meter.

My friend referred Crush to me and I am so glad she did. My sister and I had a wicked experience. I got the cut of my life. Carlton took almost 10 inches off metamorphisizing my look from outdated long to medium flirty and fun. Julli gave my sister a classy flare and we both can't wait to go back for seconds. I was also introduced to Kerastase products which has nourished my thirsty hair and has kept it light and free flowing,

EDIT: I realized they play it too safe here. Initially, it seems like they do an amazing job because they style the hair super well. However, the next day you realize you have the same boring haircut you had when you first walked into Crush. This happened to me twice already with 2 different stylists and also to 2 of my friends who came to the same conclusion. All of us showed the stylists drastically different cuts, but none of us received them.

Since my philosophy is "never go to a stylist who sports bad hair," I decided to check out the Crush website to make sure these folks were qualified enough to touch my million-dollar locks. The website is super informative and the stylists seemed to have a good resume (having studied at Bumble and Bumble) and the salon carried Kerastase. I don't really know what that all means in the hairstyling world, but I like Bumble and Bumble and Kerastase products, so that was enough for easily-swayed me.
I recommend Juli - a sweet, young, and hip hair stylist. She gave me that Bridget-Bardot-ish, big hair that I long for. I walked out batting my eyelashes like a little vixen. Rawr.
