This hotel is given 4 stars by the hotel ratings system. I found myself constantly wondering who gave them that rating and why. They offer quite a few amenities, but the entire hotel was dirty. The service was also sub par.
Our bed had makeup stains on the comforter cover and pillow cases. I even found someone else's toenail in the blankets the next morning. The hallways were never vacuumed during our 3 night stay. Every time we got onto the elevators my dog was licking some old gum stuck on the floor. We went to the hot tub one night and there were no towels on the rack that they normally provide. We had to use our room towels. Getting those replaced took 3 hours. I called the front desk twice and even stopped by to see if I could pick them up. The room service delivery guy was dripping sweat when he brought our food. Gross!
I hope someone from the hotel ratings board will revisit this place and change their star rating.

Enjoyed my stay. Asked for special amenities before arrival and was not disappointed. Great price at hotel dining and shops, lovely indoor pool. Good staff. Only sorry didn't have mini fridge or microwave but the bed and room service made up for it. I am staying a few extra days! Lovely.
This was the old Sheraton, now a Crowne Plaza. Renovated and upbeat. Perfect place for a vacation weekend in Colorado Springs.
