Like OMG these people love PEOPLE! I was attending a Yoga Program that was held at the hotel for a week. One of my classmates fell on her shin and I went to get her some ice. I ventured to the nearest cafe area and the woman went out of her way to kitchen to get me a grocery sized bag of ice. She was a barista at the so called Starbucks serving cafe and barely spoke a lick of English but her generosity and willingness to help blew me away. I was incredibly grateful and in awe with her kindness.
While I was waiting for her, I browsed through a little memorial/remembrance corner for a fellow barista. This woman was loved by the Ravina staff. There was an out pour of love for this deceased woman. I was amazed and felt a surge of joy experiencing everything.
Of course my classmate felt the good vibes too after I gave her the ice, I totally digggggg this place. I would love to come back just for the heck of it.
They also have two beautiful parrots in their lounge area. I wanted to free them but they're beautiful to look at. HAH.
the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in. and i've slept in lots of beds. trees inside, lots of them. nice backyard. huge rooms. big workout room. tons of funny people at the bar at night from their conferences. the maid left me a nice note. they have instructions to the alarm clock. and mirrors by the bed. lots of food in the hallways at 2am from business people with expense accounts.
This is one of nicest Hotels in the Atlanta area. Service was top notched,and the food at La Grotta was superb. Rooms were nice and spaciest,and the beds were one of the most comfortable ever.Nice indoor lake/waterfalls made the ambiance serene.Loved that there's Perimeter Mall across the street from Crowne Plaza.Very nice upscale area.Will visit again,and make my stay a little longer.

I was thorougly disappointed when I booked my business trip to Atlanta and couldn't get my usual suite at the W. That place is my home when I have to spend time in Atlanta but for some reason all of the "cool" hotels were booked so I booked at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia.
I'm on my 2nd night and I've been pleasantly surprised. The room is spacious, clean and decently appointed. No mini bar or flat screen tv, but it's nice enough. Room service food is pretty bad though.
The best thing about the hotel is the large gym and even larger swimming pool. If you want to work out while on the road, this is the place. The gym has 4 treadmills, several ellipticals, weight machines, free weights and medicine balls. Not bad for a hotel gym!
Ok - gotta go...I'm getting up early to work out before I have to check out!
