Crown Inn

I spend a lot of time in sorta shady hotels and this one truly creeped me out.

From the moment we checked in until the time we left I felt like desk person (and I assume owner) was watching everything I was doing. They were watching when we walked into our room, watching when we went out to buy some dinner. Watching when we came back, and standing right by our room as we left. Made me supremely uncomfortable.

Aside from the creepy "we might murder you" vibes the rooms were disgusting. We requested no smoking, the room smelled terrible. Shower was barely functional and not at all clean.

I slept in a sleeping bag on the bed as I didn't trust the sheets to be clean.

AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Avoid it, its awful. Showed up and the desk person had a pissed off attitude. Get our room first noticeable thing is the awful smell, the mini fridge had been closed and left unplugged. The bathroom door wouldn't close and the ventilation fan did not work either. The fire alarm went off multiple times regardless that there was no smoke, which as we were leaving the cleaning person mentioned that was a problem with that room. So the desk guy decided to give that room to us regardless that there were other possible rooms, real cool.
