Review from Ki G.
We moved on up from a one-bedroom in the heart of Flushing to a three-bedroom in the area and with it came a garage. So the natural thing for us to do (us being my brother's and me) would be to pester my dad to get us bikes.
My father is an active fellow by nature, so anything to keep his kids from becoming another health statistic was worth paying for. My brother's and me all got bikes and on most sunny weekends, you would find us zooming along the paths in the park.
My father also thought that my brother Kris and I were destined to be tennis buffs so we also spent a lot of time on both the hard and clay courts being pwned by little old women. Luckily it was only $5 a session with your Parks Dept Card. The pain of wasting money was overshadowed by the lameness of our games.
All I can say is thank god for those bikes.Listed in: This is why I love my city.

New York, NY
lots of green space, 4 ball fields, some tennis courts, a waterpark for the kiddies in the summer, and a basketball court. nice park tucked away from the NYC hub-bub.
also an area for "kids only" and for "adults only." the adults only has several tennis courts and seems to be plenty busy! bathrooms on site by adult tennis courts, and are pretty clean!Listed in: Welcome to Queens
