Best tacos al carbon and brisket tacos. Love this place. Decent margaritas. Best queso hands down. Always busy. Decent service.

I was a little let down by the food here. So many people raved about it. Now, perhaps if I had had a margarita or two BEFORE I started eating I would have been more impressed. Those margaritas are big and strong let me tell yah. I would go back but this is not my first pick for this area.
This place is CROWDED!!! Very popular- those margaritas must be addictive :-) -

This is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. We bring the whole family at least once each week. We usually get the fajitas, but the enchiladas and chimichanga are great, too! As another review indicates, there are some great flaming dishes, too.
Service is attentive & prompt and the kitchen is fast. If you want to take your time, then take your time placing your entre order. The salsa is fresh but lacks kick. If you want to spice it up, ask for the salsa verde; we mix it in with the regular salsa.
Cristina's gets busy on weekend evenings, like most restaurants, so expect a little wait for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. But they move pretty quickly. You can call ahead - if the wait is long, they'll add your name to the list by phone; just be sure to check in when you get there.
The outdoor seating is super - the covered patio is a great place to enjoy the great margaritas and dinner. Ceiling fans keep you cool on warmer days and the sides close to protect you from the weather (we stayed nice and dry during a little spring rain just this week).Listed in: Top Restaurants

I actually thought this place was great! They DID bring flair to their food, (usually by setting it on fire) and it shows. This place is relatively small but jammin' and jam packed. Call ahead. But the atmosphere is great, the ceiling is a nice sky blue and they pull it off well. Its obviously Mexican managed, (you can tell from the kinds of typos on their menus)
The service is prompt, nice. The food is very fresh and tasty. Don't miss out on the flan... the Star-Telegram review says its too tough but i strongly disagree. I will definitely be going here again. -

I came in on a weekday at opening time and ordered one of their lunch specials - a chile relleno. For this location, I must say it was a debacle (I'm aware of the quality of their other locations). The service was excellent, but the entire plate had no flavor at all. It was as bland as cafeteria food which just happened to be in the shape of a chile relleno. Maybe they were having a bad day, but at $8-10 a plate, such an establishment should be consistent. That is too much of a risk for me. If you are not confined to this area, I recommend Angelina's in Lewisville or Burritos Locos in Grapevine.

In my opinion, this is the best Tex-Mex restaurant in DFW. A word of caution: service can be hit or miss depending upon which Cristina's you frequent.

this place is defidently cool, especially the fire. this is a classsier version of the mexican restraunt. the interior is dignified and beautiful. the food tastes as good as it looks.
