This little place off Grand Avenue deserves more attention.
I have been booked with different stylists every time I schedule to visit Crimpers Bizarre. It doesn't matter because my hair ends up looking fabulous no matter who I'm with.
When I had Nelly, I gave her my 'vision' of my new color and she ran with it. She knew how to work with my sometimes wavy, sometimes curly hair.
When I had Elizabeth, she color matched me perfectly to back my natural color and gave me bangs that worked with my face rather than just hanging on my forehead.
I really should get my eyebrows done here. Alma is booked all day just for waxing and I want to find out why.
Walk-ins are fine, but definitely schedule an appointment if you're planning to get your hair cut on Saturday.
I tried this salon once and I felt kinda weird being the only man in this shop. The stylist was very...........The people are Crimpers are very friendly and helpful. They always have good suggestions. The place...
"Fierce" was the word my teenage daughter used for her hair after leaving this place. And, I have to admit, she looked pretty darn cute with her new cut. She couldn't stop looking at her reflection...or, I should say her hair style in her reflection. Very reasonable pricing, and our stylist, Elizabeth, is truly talented. We're in SF, but it was worth the drive down here for a great cut.
I have been seeing the same stylist for years & when she moved to Sacramento I was left alone and scared to even dread trying someone new :0(. My path always crossed with Carin at our community events (Carin, is the owner of Crimpers Bizarre) who presented me with a discount card as a potential new customer. Well, I held on the card for months till my hair grew too long and unmanageable ~ what is a girl to do?! ...sigh...... So I called and made an appointment for two (can't forget my daughter) and I was introduced to Elizabeth who took me under her wing and made me feel so comfortable. I told her what I was looking for and she went over and beyond my expectations. My daughter's hair also turned out adorable. Their prices are reasonable and their customer service A+. I am now a fan and will definitely be back. Thank you Carin and Elizabeth!
Ok, I haven't gone in for a haircut but I have gotten waxed twice by Alma and I must recommend her for eyebrows! She takes her time and I haven't broken out, big plus!
Go see Danica! She did a fantastic job on my very long thick hair. I've had my hair cut at many high end salons in sf but she had a great chair-side manner....haha. I trust her with my hair and I think I'll try the waxing next time too.
