I think this place is awesome if you just want to get away for a weekend. The rooms are 80 bucks, but these rooms are made for long term stay also, so there is a fridge and a mini kitchen in the room, theres also a sofa and a nice bed, its not a 5 star bed but after being in the jacuzzi...who cares! I enjoy bringing Lush products with me, since I don't have a tub at home :(
ALSO...if you get a chance to flip through The Metro...I think...there are coupons for this place, it's like half off!

It's kind of shady to be a hotel that's main ad is a jacuzzi and free wi-fi in every room, don't you think?
What are these other yelpers talking about?! Although by the end of my stay, I was satisfied enough with my stay and would not have chosen another (more expensive) hotel on El Camino Real to stay at, it was probably only due to the unbeatable proximity to my relative's house, and certainly no thanks to that fact that they:
-start cleaning up the continental breakfast about half an hour before official close (9:30am);
-are renovating, including partly painted ceilings and ripped up carpeting;
-the 2nd floor hallway smelled of smoke (thankfully the room did not)
-had no gym, pool, or office amenities;
-had a room wall that seemed paper-thin where you could hear the cars outside at night very distinctly
-there was a full-size small jacuzzi in my bathroom -sure this sounds great, but then you start thinking about all the things that may have happened in your bathroom..
Pros:
-reliable free wi-fi;
-It seemed a little run-down, but in no way shape or form was I afraid of getting mugged or propositioned;
-within walking distance of a Safeway, near a lot of other hotels you could move to if you change your mind;
-room service was very prompt (I left the sign out for lunch, and it was prepped when I came back);
-had a stove, microwave and can-opener (but no cookware) in my room;
-offered a free dinner (I was never around to hazard that one);
-laundry options (didn't try this either);
-they were renovating, so maybe next time it'll be nicer and newer.
Note: I am being an ungrateful guest, since I didn't have to foot the tab, but it is also of note that this is one of the most reasonably priced hotels in Mountain View.

Very good customer service, the lady that checked us in was very friendly.Also when we got in the room we discovered that our flat screen TV was not working, so we called the front desk and came right up and looked like someone had unplugged something.. odd..It's nice that the rooms have a extra sink, microwave, and fridge. We immediately went down the street to Lucky's and bought some drinks and dinner. We went to a concert at Shoreline that night and didn't get back to the hotel till about 11 or so. So we missed the breakfast in the morning. I did enjoy the free Wi-Fi so I could look up and yelp things around the area. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is that our window was facing the Billiards next door and the people were partying outside and loud which the hotel could do nothing about anyway. So maybe ask for something not facing the Billiards next time. I could tell that they had remodeled and it looked nice. Other than that a nice stay. =0)
We used to use this hotel for our work but a newer and closer hotel opened near work.
Pro's
Breakfast, with some hot items and Japanese items like rice and miso soup
Deluxe King rooms have a 2 person jacuzzi tub in the bathrooms, more like a big tub for two.
Master King rooms have a separate living room and little kitchenette.
Evening appetizers, M-TH, not quite dinner
Next to a nice, clean, large, fun pool hall
Across the street from an Italian restaurant
Free wifi
Free movies
$70-80 on the weekends
Con's
The sleeping rooms are 3 star, just ok, not fabu bedding or mattress' like the Hiltons, Hyatts and Sheratons, thin walls.
El Camino Real rooms, you can hear the street traffic
