Had lunch here this afternoon. They never disappoint! Not only is the service prompt and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious. The chicken almandine crepe is fantastic, served with home fried potatoes and a mixed greens salad. Highly recommended!
I've previously enjoyed their burgers and fries, club sandwich, hot link sandwich, and clam strips for lunch. All delicious!
Their breakfasts, however, are REALLY special! I particularly recommend the Portuguese omelet--fantastic! Their waffles and pancakes are also delicious.
The menu is pretty extensive, so there's undoubtedly something to tickle your palate! So what are you waiting for?
Such a nice little crepe place if you happen to be in the Fairfield area or passing through on I-80. I had the Monterrey crepe (after being encouraged toward it by my waiter.) it was a crepe filled with chicken, tomatoes, avocado, and a hollandaise sauce. Not a bad combination I must say. Though admittedly, it was in serious need of salt. (Which thankfully is an easy fix.)
I also tried their Fairfield crepe that's a mix of chopped pistachios, brown sugar, coconut, an marscapone cheese. It was a welcome change from the typical Nutella-based sweet crepes. A little more on the pricey side but a good choice if you want something a little different. I was hoping for a little more creaminess with the marscapone, but that aside the nuts were delicious and the brown sugar added a fantastic depth of flavor!
I'm a FREAK for breakfast & this place delivers!!! Trust me ........ I now know all the hotspots in the double F & Suisun - bab's Delta Diner, Huckleberrys, Blak Bear, the omelet joint on N. Texas (yuck!) - Crepes n' More is THE BEST!! Prices are very good & the portions are huge! I ordered the Denver Crepe which had the ingredients you would imagine plus it came w/really delish fried potatoes & a super yummy salad - the dressing was so good!!!
My Waitress was delightful & the joint was jumping at like 1 pm on a Saturday!!! Don't miss the adorable herb garden they are maintaining right outside! My waitress told me that the owner's mom had recently come from Jordan to help out - she has started the garden & makes that yummy salad dressing!!!! Way to go, Momma!!
The service was really good, the waitress's were on top of making sure we were good, the boss was a very nice guy, offered us coffee & was easy to talk to the customers and make sure they felt welcomed, the food was very good, definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area it's very family oriented & a good place to bring your kids to eat cause it's affordable.
This is my favorite breakfast place in Fairfield! I've been coming here for years now and the food is always amazing. I get the spinach, swiss and 'shroom crepe (almost all the time). The potatoes are well seasoned, but it could be fried up a little bit longer. I love their salad and dressing that accompanies the savory crepes.
Lots of selections of crepes. I wasn't in the mood for crepes, (family was) but I had corned beef hash and it was pretty good.
I would return here again.
Decent food, good menu, ok service. The banana and strawberry crepes were hard to eat and the sausage was kind of funky tasting but they had a lot of good breakfast options as well as lunch and we didn't have to wait long to eat and check out.
This place looks way smaller from outside but is surprisingly spacious! from the start I was excited because our server was friendly and enthusiastic. It's a family owned and operated business and I love to support local small businesses.
I ordered the Chicken strip Benedict. Clearly a take on a classic. My expectations were exceeded. Imagine this, a warm fresh baked biscuit covered with a deep fried chicken strip, a perfectly poached egg topped with country gravy and a side of hash browns. My boyfriend ordered the chorizo crepe and it was full of flavor encased in a thin fresh crepe. I saw so many other choices on the menu and will definitely be back. One thing I highly recommend is a glass of their fresh squeezed orange juice. You could just tell it was fresh and sweet without the guilt of artificial sweeteners. Bravo Crepes N more for being a gem in our small city of Fairfield!
Okay, the place is called Crepes N More and I didn't order crepes.
The wife and I weren't feeling like crepes, but since the Yelp reviews were so good, we decided to visit the restaurant and try their more traditional breakfasts, at least what most Americans consider a traditional breakfast.
We had the eggs benedict and the breakfast burrito. Neither were good. The only thing that we liked from either dish was the chorizo in the burrito. It was very good.
The benedict had a strange flavor. I order benedict regularly from most breakfast places we visit yet this was the second worst I have ever had. I would have thought it would have been at least palatable since they had 5 different styles of benedict on the menu to choose from. It seemed to me like it was something they took pride in serving.
The burrito was bland, especially the white sauce they poured over the top. I wasn't sure what it was, but imagine it was dairy based. (I really dislike wasting heart clogging calories on something with no flavor. That's why I stay away from pre-sliced cheese slices...okay, I'm going off on a tangent.)
The crepes must be excellent since everyone has raved about them, however I recommend staying away from the traditional breakfast.
The reason I gave the restaurant two stars instead of zero was because of the service. The server, a relative of the owner, was first rate. She had a great attitude and took care of everyone in the restaurant quickly and efficiently. She is one of the better servers I have had the privilege of seeing in action.
We found this place by accident & couldn't be happier. Being fairly new to Fairfield, we've had a hard time finding good places to eat. I had a Mediterranean Crepe and my husband and I shared a Cheese Blintz and both were spectacular. My nephews both enjoyed their meals (a burger and pancakes, eggs, and bacon) and my brother and husband had the Ultimate Crepe. The potatoes were crispy and delicious and the atmosphere was great. The owner was friendly and service was spot on. Prices were definitely reasonable. I would recommend all the meals we ordered and easily recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will definitely be back!
Been here before and it was decent, but this time was a fail. My corned beef hash was greasy and way too salty. My eggs were under cooked and also greasy. The only thing not greasy? My toast. That was dry as a desert.
My husbands breakfast was disappointing. Small portions for the price and the flavor wasn't there. Which is actually a feat when dealing with breakfast foods.
All in all, you're probably better off making breakfast at home and doing dishes than wasting money here.
This place is awesome! The service here is spot on! Crepes are definitely the best around and they have a ton to choose from. They give you big portions and you really feel like you get your money worth. I love to come here because i can expect a good experience and they have yet to let me down. Definitely check this place out!
Excellent food,, very fast, abd wonderful service :-)
I like the suggestions! They should make a creamy pesto crepe too with lots of veggies :-)
Omelets are a piece of art and taste great! Friendly staff.
It's pretty standard breakfast food. I had the half waffle breakfast with sausage and over-easy eggs. My waffle was a little dry but it was OK over all. My friend liked his chicken pesto crepe which came in a pretty big portion with the potatoes and salad. The place is very spacious. Three stars for average food and one extra star for the friendly and responsive staff.
Great little spot in downtown Fairfield! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Crepe for lunch. The server recommended to add a side of pesto sauce, it was so delicious. They make their own pesto & Alfredo sauce and my crepe was perfectly made. It came with a side of house potatoes which I didn't really care for. They weren't seasoned and a bit soggy for my taste. Customer service is wonderful and friendly. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot for brunch!
Holy Crepes!! This PLACE IS GOOD!!
Ok so let's back track. Coming back from San Fran the boo took me here because I am all about new food adventures! We went around 11:30ish so there was street parking right across the street, so parking was no issue. When we headed in they had some customers chowing down but it wasn't crazy busy. You could tell some were regulars to the place. It is a Mom and Pop family type operation. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by the owners son who was our waiter who took our drink order and gave us a moment to look over the menu! There are so many choices! I wanted to try EVERYTHING! Since I wanted breakfast I decided to get the ultimate crepe, which is pretty much a meat lovers omelet in a crepe! It's huge and it comes with potatoes and a salad. The boo got the pesto chicken crepe! OMG!! That thing was DE-LICIOUS!!
I wasn't able to finish all the potatoes but the salad and crepe I DEMOLISHED!!! Oh and the waiter forgot to bring me my apple juice earlier so he brought it while I was eating and said it was no charge since he forgot. Hell I forgot once I got my food and the water alone did me fine to wash down all that wonderfulness! Lol!
Can't wait to go back to this place to experience another one of the wonderful crepes! The menu is RESONABLY priced! EVEN BETTER!!
Check 'em out!!
I do believe this establishment is a Jordanian, family-run popular crepe place... which I had the pleasure of patronizing this afternoon.
We met up and sampled a few of their savory crepes.. like my Yelp friend Jason G says, I too was pleasantly surrpised. Customer service was awesome.. Very attentive and very kind.
Crepes run about $10 per entree, and the only thing I must comment: the potatoes absolutely tasted like they were boiled first....which, for me, compromised the wonderful taste they can have. And the salad was a bit tasteless, having only one type of greens (romaine).
But portions are hearty and prices are affordable. Best thing was the fact I gotta pick up the tab and support this small business. In downtown Fairfield... about 5 minutes off the 80 freeway
Stopped by here for brunch today because of the yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. My friends and I enjoyed it!
Usually I don't really go for crepes as something I crave for brunch, but since this seemed like the only non-chain brunch place that had good reviews, we decided to come here. They have a HUGE selection of crepes for breakfast and lunch, which I am amazed at. There was a greek crepe, italian crepe, florentine crepe, etc. all for around $10 or so (ones with salmon or other seafood range around $12-$15). I went for the chicken almadine crepe (had mushrooms, cheese, chicken, and almonds; sounds weird but I was in the mood for something different.) while my housemates got the poached salmon crepe and the shrimp crepe. Each crepe dish comes with a side of house potatoes and greens, which is a nice addition to the hearty crepe itself. I was really full already consuming the potatoes and greens, so I only got to eat a little bit of my chicken almadine. Overall I thought it was pretty worth it but I felt like there wasn't much flavor in mines. I probably wouldn't get the same crepe next time since they have such a wide selection to choose from.
Why I give it four instead of three stars is because of the service, which was excellent. We got seated immediately with no wait, waters got refilled often, and our food came out very quickly. The interior is very cute and clean! Looks like it is great for bigger parties. Also, each table has a little pamphlet of trivia while you're waiting for your food to come out which is a cute perk!
March 2014: Crêpes N More [facebook.com/MaggiesFood…
The enjoyment of food is as much 'looks' as it is 'taste'. Aesthetically food needs to be pleasing to the eyes. I was seduced today by how the crêpes were presented. Not only were the colours attractive, the gentle folds of the crêpes and the way it hid its treasures between the folds were seductive, beckoning and tempting me to indulge in its beauty.
After that first look comes the taste. I nearly swoon at my first forkful. Every bite was as enchanting as the last. To top it off, this place serves Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, a rare find these days.
This establishment is family owned and operated. Nibal is from Jordan. She, her husband (the crêpe master) and their children work together to make this eatery a MUST visit. The service here is First Class, bar none.
Crêpes N More in Fairfield
Awesome restaurant! Love that it's family owned and operated. This was my second visit, always go with the Strawberry, Banana, & Nutella Crepe with a side of bacon. My son got the chorizo crepe and the hubby got the French crepe.
Will go back for sure!
I am definitely coming back here to try their dessert crepes. First time here and I enjoyed their Teriyaki Chicken crepe w/ fresh house salad and diced potatoes. A big serving for 10$ and so worth it. And it's SAVORY just as it says in the menu. Also, I'd like to thank the sweet lady and owner for taking us at 245p when they were closing at 3p! THANK YOU and I will be back!
Good device and great food. Breakfast or lunch you can't lose. A must try guest crepe. If you have sweet tooth it will satisfy. Don't leave without the seasoned potatoes. I could go on and on
Finally tried this place today and wondered why it took me this long to get here. It was great, tasty, quick, and exactly what I was in the mood for this morning. I had the Mediterranean crepe and the bf had the Portuguese crepe. They were both perfectly plated w a delish salad and potatoes. I will be back soon to try more or their yummy menu. Bonus, we were able to eat out front and enjoy the fresh air.
Delicious once again!! Crepes & More never disappoints! Very busy for Mother's Day (waited outside about 30 minutes) but once we ordered the food was served in only 9 minutes--now that's service!! Staff always friendly & food is incredible--even my picky eater kids loved the kids breakfast!! Thanks, Crepes & More! See ya next time!!
FIRST IMPRESSION: spacious seating area. Decor is a bit outdated but not bad. Food smelled delish just coming in!
LIKES: I ordered the fajita steak crepe. Came with southern style potatoes and a side of greens with their house dressing. My steak crepe may have been a little dry--but that could have been because I ordered it without peppers and onions. Steak was cooked perfect and cheese was perfect melted :) service was awesome and fast!
DISLIKES: nothing during this visit!
I love coming here. A friend brought me here once and I've become addicted. Every time I come I bring someone new with me and they love the place. Service is excellent and the staff is really nice. I believe it's a family business. The food comes out so quickly and they've never gotten an order wrong nor have I had to send anything back. Try the potatoes!
Seen Crepes N More on my way to Joe's a few times and always wanted to try it out.
Came in yesterday. Service was great, everyone is friendly and attentive. The rating doesn't have anything to do with the service.
However, my food was just not what I was looking for. I ordered a Mediterranean Crepe - with Feta, Tomatoes, Onions, Artichoke and mushrooms. Came with a small salad and a side of fried potatoes. Potatoes were nearly burnt (but the only thing I would eat). Salad came with lettuce --- pre-dressing (too much vinegar) and the lettuce was very soggy. Crepe it self was a pile of veggies swimming in grease, overly salted and the crepe was overcooked and crunchy (like potato chips?). Order of iced tea was large and wasn't too bad. Meal came out to $15 with a tip (the people were nice).
Overall, I wanted to like this place, but my food wasn't prepared how I hoped it would. I honestly, couldn't even take more than a few bites before I decided I wanted to eat elsewhere. Reviews show that a lot of people like eating here. I just wasn't one of those people.
Absolutely delicious food here, definitely in the top two or three locations in Solano County for breakfast/lunch. I recommend the Portuguese crepe, it's awesome and it comes with a small portion of a delicious salad.
Came here today with my grandma for brunch. Service was a bit slow and not very personable. We sort of felt like at times like our waitress was purposefully ignoring us, especially when it came to getting a box and getting our receipt.
I had the Salsa crepe because I was craving avocado and eggs and my grandma got a breakfast burrito. I was surprised that the salsa on the crepe wasn't mild, but rather a spicy medium. Everything inside was cooked to perfection, but I noticed a distinct lack of cheese. It's a slight complaint though, I ate the whole thing and found it to be absolutely delicious. The potatoes and green salad with house made dressing were also very tasty.
My grandma's breakfast burrito was bigger than her head and the gravy on it was to die for. So... good. She said it was 'hearty, large and delicious!"
We both agreed to come back again to try their more sweet crepes. I'm kicking myself for not picking the Nutella.
I marked it 4 stars because the service was a bit slow and our waitress wasn't personable. We get better service from the people who work at chain buffets.
Family owned and operated! I love mom n' pop shops! I had the salmon Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! Good coffee too! Amazing customer service, I felt like I came to a friends house. I highly recommend this place!
Breakfast, breakfast, and more breakfast.
What's better than breakfast? An inexpensive one, that is.
What's better than an inexpensive breakfast? One with huge food portions.
And what's better than that, delicious crepes on top of it. Or more like wrapping it.
There's more than just crepes here. That should be obvious since this restaurant is named Crepes N More. Everything on the menu sounded good, but I had to try their crepes, right? You don't go to a donut shop and order a bagel. You don't go to a taco shop and order a burger. Anyway, there's so many crepe options here. From crepes stuffed with steaks to crepes stuffed with fruits, they have it all. You name it, they can make it. I ended up creating my own crepe. I ordered a crepe with chicken breast, spinach, and egg whites. For my side, I had a cup of good ol' reliable oatmeal. This was one tasty and healthy crepe. Crepes N More hooked up the chicken breast with a lot of thick pieces. Very tasty, indeed. My only issue was that they forgot the egg whites. But I ain't mad, my crepe still had enough taste and protein that the egg whites weren't needed after all.
Ambiance is pretty chill too. It was a Saturday morning and wasn't too busy at the time. But I assume it does get busy based on some of the reviews. Crepes N More is a family owned business and their service was great. Will I come back? If I'm in town, of course I will. Maybe next time I'll get their crepes filled with steak. Or maybe next time I'll get my egg whites too.
YELP PERSONAL CHALLENGE 2013 - (482/500)
Love, love, love this place. The food is flavorful, the portions generous. I have tried half of the menu, but recommend the turkey avocado crepe.
Service is excellent, I think it's a family owned business, and they are so welcoming and helpful.
Give this place a try.
My friends and I decided to make an explicit stop in Fairfield before our Six Flags destination because the idea of fluffy crepes sounded like the perfect source of sustenance before a day of adrenaline rushes and screaming.
As we could not finish our food, our "crepes" failed their objective.
Let me elaborate-when we were visualizing our savory crepes, we saw delicate wraps of airy, whipped eggs, gently cradling bits of juicy chicken. We were instead pounded with cardstock wraps folded over what we can only assume were plastic carton eggs with unmemorable chicken. Considering we made a special stop just for our $9+ plates, the food could have tasted a little less like reconcentrated eggs and a little more like the eggs straight from a chicken. On the sides: The potatoes were glistening with oil and oversalted. The salad was a bit wilted, either from being doused in dressing too long or just not being fresh.
As the service was reasonable and fast, and yelp does not give 1.5 stars, rounding up to 2 stars.
Always drove by this place & told myself to find the time to drop by. Looks cute from the outside!
The service here is basic. Attentive servers who are polite & smiling. Their floorplan is an open concept, you can see the kitchen etc. It's got a mom & pops feel to it.
The food? I had the ham, sausage & bacon cheese crepe.. It was Great!! Loved it. It was served with greens & home style potatoes. The crepe had a delicious taste to it. I also took a Nutella strawberry crepe home for my wife. :)
Definitely a must try if you haven't been! It's a local gem.
Omg what a nice place to have breakfast or lunch very good everything is good I love their country potatoes and also their hotlinks. Their crepes are so good. Service is great and their all friendly.
First off...Food was super good. Great flavor and good portion size for what you pay. I had the chicken cordon bleu crepe and it had amazing flavor. Staff was welcoming and friendly, service was good and the food came out quickly. I will definitely be coming back here again. If your in the area I would highly recommend it!
Diner-like but without the greasy spoon.
We went on a Monday mid-morning and it was pretty quiet. Parking was very easy in the parking lot next to the building, there was also plenty of parking on the surrounding streets.
I went with the Egg Florentine crepe and my all American main squeeze went with an All American breakfast. My crepe was perfect, nice crisp crepe filled with an egg omelet stuffed with a generous amount of onions, mushrooms, spinach and Swiss cheesey goodness. Sides were salad and home-fries. It wasn't too heavy but it was a large portion so no clean plate club this time. The All American to me looked pretty boring but he loved it; 2 pancakes, eggs and FOUR sausage links.
This place is a gem tucked away in sleepy downton Fairfield. The place has great breakfast, a large menu, and the restaurant itself is casual but has nice high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light.
The breakfast was delicious and large in portion size. They also have non-crepe items for those that are not feeling in a crepe mood.
The only negative i have is that apparently the coffee was not very good (I don't drink coffee, so this is hearsay), despite having a decoration in the restaurant that says "world's best coffee".
Best in solano! Food is AmAzInG staff is GrEaT definite must try!!!! Always goin above n beyond for their customers
