This is one of my favorite breakfast places to go. The staff are always very friendly. (One time they even opened a few mins early for us after seeing us standing outside waiting).
The food is fantastic! So far everything I had ever ordered turned out pretty yummy. My favorite is the Fairfield Crepe! (Mixture of nuts and coconut) it's so good!
**I wish they would make a couple of chocolate based crepes!** ( yes I am a chocolic! )
Have business in Fairfield and always try to support local, non-chain businesses.
We have now been to Crepes N More twice, and tried four different menu items.
We did not order crepes, so this review might not really be fair, but when you come in for breakfast or lunch, you might not want crepes, so they should either remove the other items from the menu or work on their recipes and food preparation.
We ordered a rare hamburger. It came well done. And it came in perhaps 3 minutes. As an avid amateur cook, this really makes me wonder. Needless to say, the hamburger, while not dry, had no taste at all. The fries were odd. Perhaps baked? Again, almost no taste. No,we did not send the hamburger back. Like most people, we don't want to complain. Or to waste food.
The breakfast burrito was very large sized, dripping in cheese, very filling, but nothing special.
From our former visit, the Benedict tasted different. Not good, not bad, not like Benedict, almost like cheese sauce? Not sure. The breakfast potatoes were okay. In any event, I would never order it again.
Coffee cup is so small I could hardly hold it. A different wait staff member finally came and asked if I wanted it refilled, just as we were leaving. ???
We never got the water we asked for. The orange juice was huge and tasted fresh squeezed which is good. But it was more than a single person could drink, and costs nearly $4.
When we were there, there were many empty tables. And yet the service, while extremely friendly, is very lacking. Frankly, I felt rushed.
I also felt that the $35 bill for a 20 minute lunch was excessive. This is a cute, but hardly upscale place. The minute you put your fork down, a wait staff member is there to grab your empty plate. I felt they wanted us to leave. The check came flying to the table without being asked for. For the price, this is not a good feeling. I sincerely regret having to write this review. But this business needs to back up, and rethink some of its recipes, its offerings, its cooking practices. The waitstaff needs to listen carefully to the customers' order. Food should always be freshly cooked (and perhaps it is, but I am mystified how a hamburger can be that over done, and assembled in a matter of minutes, perhaps commercial grills can do that, mine can't). For working people who are simply there to grab a fast lunch, perhaps the hurry is appropriate, but when you are going out to lunch, you want to feel relaxed and enjoy the experience. If we want fast food, there are many places to get it, for much less.
I promised my daughter if she slept in till 7:25 today (ah, the luxury!) I'd take her out for breakfast, at 7:25 on the dot she burst from her room ready for her outing. Alright kid, lets go get some crepes.
Well, I actually told her initially that we were getting fancy pancakes and then explained what crepes were all about. She was sold and we headed on over. We strolled in around 8:30 and there was only one or two other tables occupied inside. Both servers greeted us and one told us to have a seat anywhere we'd like. A server brought us a menu to look over together; I decided to go with the Thanks Given crepe (turkey breast, swiss cheese and avocado) and my daughter wanted a sausage crepe. The sausage crepe on the menu was priced at $9.99 - way more than I wanted to spend on a meal I knew she wouldn't be able to finish. Instead I ordered her 2 plain crepes at $1.69 each with a side of sausage (4 links) at $3.49 for a total of $6.87. I was kinda surprised they didn't even have crepes on the kids menu, maybe they would have substituted it in the pancake meal they listed but it did seem strange not to even offer it.
Our food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. I was kinda disappointed initially to see that my Thanks Given crepe used sliced deli style turkey breast. I was satisfied with the taste of the omelette over the first few bites, but quickly grew bored with it. There was hardly any avocado and way more cheese than I'd prefer. It would have been great with something thrown in for texture or a crunch, but as it stood it was mostly just mush. I cut one of my daughter's sausage links lengthwise and wrapped it up inside one of her crepes for her to dip in the syrup and butter tubs they provided. She was definitely pleased, didn't even miss the cheddar cheese that would have came with the $9.99 sausage crepe.
Service wasn't very great on our visit unfortunately. Our server brought me my coffee and our food and that was our only interaction until the check came. I would have liked a second cup of coffee about 1/2 way through our visit but no one came to refill my empty mug or my nearly empty water glass. In fact, it didn't even seem like they could see us. They gained an extra few tables while we were eating but nothing that should have kept our server from asking if we were doing okay. I was also curious to know the flavor of the dressing on the mixed greens that were served with my crepe, it was really crisp and light and had a flavor note that I couldn't put my finger on. By the time our waitress came over I was ready to go though and paid the bill right away. After she brought me my receipt and as I was figuring out how much to tip her the other server came by and offered me a cup of coffee...literally 30 seconds before I'm about to walk out the door. "No thanks!" was my smiled reply while my my inner dialogue continued with "would have been nice during my meal though!"
My daughter loved her crepe and I'd be up for trying another of their offerings. I've come here before and had a better experience but that was nearly 5 years ago. Still, I told my little lady that this was our new breakfast joint so expect another visit from us crepe lovin' ladies again.
Funny Semi-Related Kid Quote - While we're discussing what we wanted to order I told my daughter I'd probably go with something savory. As I started to say "Savory means..." she jumped in and said "that you can save it?" :)
Second visit. Great service at a reasonable price with large servings. Had the breakfast burrito with hash browns and it's more than enough for two individuals, much less one person. No waiting for a table, although I've heard it can get crowded at times (this visit was at 8:30 am). Will definitely return.
Such a delight! Thank you yelp for pointing us toward this culinary wonder. Family owned and operated which makes this place all the more fantastic. Went for breakfast. Veggie crepe for me and eggs Benedict for my boyfriend. Was most excellent. If I lived here I would go all the time.
I visited this establishment for the first time this past Saturday and let me tell you it definitely did not disappoint!!! I had the Crab Feast seafood crepe for lunch and the strawberry and banana w/Nutella dessert crepe, one word...DELICIOUS!!!! The waitress was extremely helpful and pleasant which left a lasting impression, especially since we stayed around 30min after closing. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back!
I didn't come from Crepes today. I thought I would try something different. I ordered a Belgian waffle, smoked apple chicken sausages, and scrabbled eggs. Everything was prepared to perfection. I know 5 stars is high, but I can not think of any reason not to give them what the deserve.
Since discovering this place my husband and I are seriously addicted to having breakfast here.
I mean, we go A LOT.
My husband goes nearly every day. I go whenever I get the chance. We take our son whenever we can (totally a family friendly atmosphere!) We are extremely busy running our businesses so we never have time to cook which is why we can't stay away from this place.
The food is SO GOOD! Aside from being delicious I also feel like it is pretty healthy. The crepes come with a generous side salad and you can even trade out the potatoes in exchange for a bowl of fruit. Sometimes I go for the All American traditional breakfast when I'm feeling simple and it is ALWAYS awesome. But when I feel like something extraordinary, I spring for one of their super scrumptious crepes.
I don't think you can go wrong here. I have never been the least bit disappointed.
This is THE place for a killer breakfast in Solano county. If you're contemplating going, do it. GO. You will be glad you did.
I can't wait to go just for one of their decadent dessert crepes one of these days!
Did I mention the customer service?! This place is owned and operated by some really wonderful people! The service is most excellent!
Love love LOVE it!
We tried this place after seeing the great reviews & location since we were waiting
for our car to get serviced. The place is a diner style, servers were very friendly & u get a generous portion of food (pictured) we had to take most of it to go. Overall good food
would come back again if in the area. They also had Benedicts on the menu, breakfast
burritos & more for those that don't want crepes. Worth a try.
Told my coworkers about this place and now we come here for staff breakfasts all the time! Food is always good and the servings are pretty big! I always take a to go box home. Always get a crepe since its called crepes and more but my coworkers have made comments that the other food there is really good too!
Holy Crepes!! This PLACE IS GOOD!!
Ok so let's back track. Coming back from San Fran the boo took me here because I am all about new food adventures! We went around 11:30ish so there was street parking right across the street, so parking was no issue. When we headed in they had some customers chowing down but it wasn't crazy busy. You could tell some were regulars to the place. It is a Mom and Pop family type operation. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by the owners son who was our waiter who took our drink order and gave us a moment to look over the menu! There are so many choices! I wanted to try EVERYTHING! Since I wanted breakfast I decided to get the ultimate crepe, which is pretty much a meat lovers omelet in a crepe! It's huge and it comes with potatoes and a salad. The boo got the pesto chicken crepe! OMG!! That thing was DE-LICIOUS!!
I wasn't able to finish all the potatoes but the salad and crepe I DEMOLISHED!!! Oh and the waiter forgot to bring me my apple juice earlier so he brought it while I was eating and said it was no charge since he forgot. Hell I forgot once I got my food and the water alone did me fine to wash down all that wonderfulness! Lol!
Can't wait to go back to this place to experience another one of the wonderful crepes! The menu is RESONABLY priced! EVEN BETTER!!
Check 'em out!!
I do believe this establishment is a Jordanian, family-run popular crepe place... which I had the pleasure of patronizing this afternoon.
We met up and sampled a few of their savory crepes.. like my Yelp friend Jason G says, I too was pleasantly surrpised. Customer service was awesome.. Very attentive and very kind.
Crepes run about $10 per entree, and the only thing I must comment: the potatoes absolutely tasted like they were boiled first....which, for me, compromised the wonderful taste they can have. And the salad was a bit tasteless, having only one type of greens (romaine).
But portions are hearty and prices are affordable. Best thing was the fact I gotta pick up the tab and support this small business. In downtown Fairfield... about 5 minutes off the 80 freeway
Back again on a busy Sunday morning. Same fast seating, fast service, fast delivery of very good food and endless coffee. They really have figured out how to manage a lot of people in a very fast and efficient way.
Always speedy and attentive service, and the food is always delicious. It can get busy on weekends, but they get you seated as quickly as possible. I have had the ultimate crepe and well as the seafood Benedict on different occasions. Both meals were delicious and portioned generously. I always end up taking leftovers home. One short of five stars because they need better ventilation or air conditioning, and the flies can be bothersome.
Seen Crepes N More on my way to Joe's a few times and always wanted to try it out.
Came in yesterday. Service was great, everyone is friendly and attentive. The rating doesn't have anything to do with the service.
However, my food was just not what I was looking for. I ordered a Mediterranean Crepe - with Feta, Tomatoes, Onions, Artichoke and mushrooms. Came with a small salad and a side of fried potatoes. Potatoes were nearly burnt (but the only thing I would eat). Salad came with lettuce --- pre-dressing (too much vinegar) and the lettuce was very soggy. Crepe it self was a pile of veggies swimming in grease, overly salted and the crepe was overcooked and crunchy (like potato chips?). Order of iced tea was large and wasn't too bad. Meal came out to $15 with a tip (the people were nice).
Overall, I wanted to like this place, but my food wasn't prepared how I hoped it would. I honestly, couldn't even take more than a few bites before I decided I wanted to eat elsewhere. Reviews show that a lot of people like eating here. I just wasn't one of those people.
A wonderful stop while visiting San Fran and Napa. Glad I found this place to get a fresh and filling meal before adventuring back out there. The salad lets u feel less guilty about gobbling dwn the huge crepe and potatoes. This place has friendly staff, free wifi (just ask) and kickin 90's rock music.
Recommend substituting the potatoes for fruit and adding olives on the salad.
Such a nice little crepe place if you happen to be in the Fairfield area or passing through on I-80. I had the Monterrey crepe (after being encouraged toward it by my waiter.) it was a crepe filled with chicken, tomatoes, avocado, and a hollandaise sauce. Not a bad combination I must say. Though admittedly, it was in serious need of salt. (Which thankfully is an easy fix.)
I also tried their Fairfield crepe that's a mix of chopped pistachios, brown sugar, coconut, an marscapone cheese. It was a welcome change from the typical Nutella-based sweet crepes. A little more on the pricey side but a good choice if you want something a little different. I was hoping for a little more creaminess with the marscapone, but that aside the nuts were delicious and the brown sugar added a fantastic depth of flavor!
Stopped by here for brunch today because of the yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. My friends and I enjoyed it!
Usually I don't really go for crepes as something I crave for brunch, but since this seemed like the only non-chain brunch place that had good reviews, we decided to come here. They have a HUGE selection of crepes for breakfast and lunch, which I am amazed at. There was a greek crepe, italian crepe, florentine crepe, etc. all for around $10 or so (ones with salmon or other seafood range around $12-$15). I went for the chicken almadine crepe (had mushrooms, cheese, chicken, and almonds; sounds weird but I was in the mood for something different.) while my housemates got the poached salmon crepe and the shrimp crepe. Each crepe dish comes with a side of house potatoes and greens, which is a nice addition to the hearty crepe itself. I was really full already consuming the potatoes and greens, so I only got to eat a little bit of my chicken almadine. Overall I thought it was pretty worth it but I felt like there wasn't much flavor in mines. I probably wouldn't get the same crepe next time since they have such a wide selection to choose from.
Why I give it four instead of three stars is because of the service, which was excellent. We got seated immediately with no wait, waters got refilled often, and our food came out very quickly. The interior is very cute and clean! Looks like it is great for bigger parties. Also, each table has a little pamphlet of trivia while you're waiting for your food to come out which is a cute perk!
So today I give them a four star for the wonderful friendly, family oriented atmosphere! The food today was just so/so my potatoes were burnt and steak was overcooked in my crepe. My Hubby got the Seafood Benedict with hash browns and his was delicious!!! Today's cook was different from who was cooking last time we came here.
Breakfast, breakfast, and more breakfast.
What's better than breakfast? An inexpensive one, that is.
What's better than an inexpensive breakfast? One with huge food portions.
And what's better than that, delicious crepes on top of it. Or more like wrapping it.
There's more than just crepes here. That should be obvious since this restaurant is named Crepes N More. Everything on the menu sounded good, but I had to try their crepes, right? You don't go to a donut shop and order a bagel. You don't go to a taco shop and order a burger. Anyway, there's so many crepe options here. From crepes stuffed with steaks to crepes stuffed with fruits, they have it all. You name it, they can make it. I ended up creating my own crepe. I ordered a crepe with chicken breast, spinach, and egg whites. For my side, I had a cup of good ol' reliable oatmeal. This was one tasty and healthy crepe. Crepes N More hooked up the chicken breast with a lot of thick pieces. Very tasty, indeed. My only issue was that they forgot the egg whites. But I ain't mad, my crepe still had enough taste and protein that the egg whites weren't needed after all.
Ambiance is pretty chill too. It was a Saturday morning and wasn't too busy at the time. But I assume it does get busy based on some of the reviews. Crepes N More is a family owned business and their service was great. Will I come back? If I'm in town, of course I will. Maybe next time I'll get their crepes filled with steak. Or maybe next time I'll get my egg whites too.
YELP PERSONAL CHALLENGE 2013 - (482/500)
I've been here a few times and have had great experiences. The fresh orange juice is such a delight! Only once was my crepe a little more well done than I would have liked but it was still incredible. I easily could have asked the waitress to re do it but I didn't. They are very nice and the service is outstanding.
Diner-like but without the greasy spoon.
We went on a Monday mid-morning and it was pretty quiet. Parking was very easy in the parking lot next to the building, there was also plenty of parking on the surrounding streets.
I went with the Egg Florentine crepe and my all American main squeeze went with an All American breakfast. My crepe was perfect, nice crisp crepe filled with an egg omelet stuffed with a generous amount of onions, mushrooms, spinach and Swiss cheesey goodness. Sides were salad and home-fries. It wasn't too heavy but it was a large portion so no clean plate club this time. The All American to me looked pretty boring but he loved it; 2 pancakes, eggs and FOUR sausage links.
This place looks way smaller from outside but is surprisingly spacious! from the start I was excited because our server was friendly and enthusiastic. It's a family owned and operated business and I love to support local small businesses.
I ordered the Chicken strip Benedict. Clearly a take on a classic. My expectations were exceeded. Imagine this, a warm fresh baked biscuit covered with a deep fried chicken strip, a perfectly poached egg topped with country gravy and a side of hash browns. My boyfriend ordered the chorizo crepe and it was full of flavor encased in a thin fresh crepe. I saw so many other choices on the menu and will definitely be back. One thing I highly recommend is a glass of their fresh squeezed orange juice. You could just tell it was fresh and sweet without the guilt of artificial sweeteners. Bravo Crepes N more for being a gem in our small city of Fairfield!
Okay, the place is called Crepes N More and I didn't order crepes.
The wife and I weren't feeling like crepes, but since the Yelp reviews were so good, we decided to visit the restaurant and try their more traditional breakfasts, at least what most Americans consider a traditional breakfast.
We had the eggs benedict and the breakfast burrito. Neither were good. The only thing that we liked from either dish was the chorizo in the burrito. It was very good.
The benedict had a strange flavor. I order benedict regularly from most breakfast places we visit yet this was the second worst I have ever had. I would have thought it would have been at least palatable since they had 5 different styles of benedict on the menu to choose from. It seemed to me like it was something they took pride in serving.
The burrito was bland, especially the white sauce they poured over the top. I wasn't sure what it was, but imagine it was dairy based. (I really dislike wasting heart clogging calories on something with no flavor. That's why I stay away from pre-sliced cheese slices...okay, I'm going off on a tangent.)
The crepes must be excellent since everyone has raved about them, however I recommend staying away from the traditional breakfast.
The reason I gave the restaurant two stars instead of zero was because of the service. The server, a relative of the owner, was first rate. She had a great attitude and took care of everyone in the restaurant quickly and efficiently. She is one of the better servers I have had the privilege of seeing in action.
This place is a gem tucked away in sleepy downton Fairfield. The place has great breakfast, a large menu, and the restaurant itself is casual but has nice high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light.
The breakfast was delicious and large in portion size. They also have non-crepe items for those that are not feeling in a crepe mood.
The only negative i have is that apparently the coffee was not very good (I don't drink coffee, so this is hearsay), despite having a decoration in the restaurant that says "world's best coffee".
Crepe N More really have MORE! They serve your basic breakfast, lunch and of course full selection of crepe! I was greeted by our welcomed waiter who seated us and gave us a few suggestion on the menu. I chose the Chicken pesto, which was very good... The cheese melted and chicken was juicy. All other members of my party love their crepe as well and I just think you cant go wrong here.. This place is a little ma and pa shop so very casual wear. The side dishes are pre-made here but don't be afraid.. The salad dressed and potatoes are season lightly. Awesome Work! Expect me to come here again! This place also Support Troop with discount to members!
Been here before and it was decent, but this time was a fail. My corned beef hash was greasy and way too salty. My eggs were under cooked and also greasy. The only thing not greasy? My toast. That was dry as a desert.
My husbands breakfast was disappointing. Small portions for the price and the flavor wasn't there. Which is actually a feat when dealing with breakfast foods.
All in all, you're probably better off making breakfast at home and doing dishes than wasting money here.
Heard that this family-owned joint was great for a Sunday brunch, so my friends and I decided to check it out earlier today. Luckily it wasn't too crowded today and we were seated right away, which was great since we were staaarving. The service was good and the waiters were friendly and kept refilling our drinks as needed.
Two of us couldn't decide what on what to order, so we split the chicken pignole crepe filled with diced chicken, mushrooms, pine nuts, provolone, and white american cheese & the bay shrimp crepe filled with sauteed baby shrimp, green onion, avocado and jack cheese. For me, the shrimp crepe was more enjoyable than the chicken one as it was filled with large chunks of creamy avocado, and since the chicken pignole crepe was basically sitting in a pool of oil which made the crepe quite soggy. Sadly, the salad on the side was dressed way too heavily and the home fries were slightly overcooked and not very crispy.
Crepes N More is located in downtown Fairfield. I came here with my boyfriend when we were both looking for a place to eat. We both love crepes, so we decided to try this place out.
When we walked in at 10:00 am, it was super quiet. There were only 3 customers sitting at the tables. We quickly got seated and looked at the menu. I decided to go with the Country Boy crepe (ham, peppers, onions, and tomatoes). My boyfriend ordered the ham, sausage, bacon, and egg crepe.
While we were waiting for our food, I noticed more customers coming in. The restaurant was not half filled! Our food came out fairly quickly within 10 minutes.
My crepe was delicious. I love how it came with a side salad and country pototoes. My boyfriend loved his crepe, too.
For dessert, we decided to share a nutella crepe. It was kinda small and the crepe was not crispy on the outside. The nutella filling was nice and warm though.
Overall, this is a decent place that serves both savory and sweet crepes. I felt there was a wide selection to choose from. Service was pretty good. too.
I ordered the eggs Benedict with spinach and country style potatoes. Best breakfast I've had eating out in a long time! Everything was cooked perfectly and the eggs were poached perfectly too. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.
Had lunch here this afternoon. They never disappoint! Not only is the service prompt and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious. The chicken almandine crepe is fantastic, served with home fried potatoes and a mixed greens salad. Highly recommended!
I've previously enjoyed their burgers and fries, club sandwich, hot link sandwich, and clam strips for lunch. All delicious!
Their breakfasts, however, are REALLY special! I particularly recommend the Portuguese omelet--fantastic! Their waffles and pancakes are also delicious.
The menu is pretty extensive, so there's undoubtedly something to tickle your palate! So what are you waiting for?
March 2014: Crêpes N More [facebook.com/MaggiesFood…
The enjoyment of food is as much 'looks' as it is 'taste'. Aesthetically food needs to be pleasing to the eyes. I was seduced today by how the crêpes were presented. Not only were the colours attractive, the gentle folds of the crêpes and the way it hid its treasures between the folds were seductive, beckoning and tempting me to indulge in its beauty.
After that first look comes the taste. I nearly swoon at my first forkful. Every bite was as enchanting as the last. To top it off, this place serves Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, a rare find these days.
This establishment is family owned and operated. Nibal is from Jordan. She, her husband (the crêpe master) and their children work together to make this eatery a MUST visit. The service here is First Class, bar none.

My wife had the chicken fried steak and loved it.
In my opinion, don't get the stuffed French Toast.
First of all, they've got some killer corned beef hash.
Had to change it from 100 to 200 since 6 months in I AM KILLING IT…
I may not be a foodie, but I do enjoy food! This list contains only 3…
