Review from Daryl I.
Just when I had given up hope of finding a restaurant I really liked in the area, I would told about this place. It's not a very big place, and it's in the Food 4 Less shopping center on the east side of Pepper. They have a pretty comprehensive menu, but for the purposes of my first visit, I selected from their lunch special menu. My choice? The chopped BBQ sandwich, with your choice of side for $5.95. My choice was the fries.
I was very happy with my sandwich. They gave me a generous portion of chopped, lean beef, topped with a good bbq sauce. Honestly, I expected my sandwich to consist of pre-sliced sandwich meat, which had been steeped in bbq sauce until the only trace of moisture would be the sauce, but such was not the case. Instead, I was rewarded with semi-cubed meat, where I was actually able to identify the origin of the cut. The side of freshly fried fries was huge, to the point where I couldn't finish it without the help of my friends. Best of all, these were steak cut fries, which are one of my favorites.
I definitely plan to be back here, just to try the other things on the menu!! -

You would think with all those employees down the street at the Arrowhead Medical Center, that a place like this would be alive. But, no.
Do you think the health nuts are making a statement that BBQ is bad for you? -

this restaurant is soooooooooooooooo great. I went this past saturday and ordered the catfish and shrimp and oh my god it was the best i have ever tasted. the seasoning was just perfect, the shrimp were huge and it was just orgasmic....... seriously. My boyfriend got the hot links and barbq which he said were equally as good (I dont eat red meat but its smelled so good i was close) you must go try it if you live in the inland empire area. I live in L.A. and was out there visiting but boy do I wish there was one up here. I will sacrifice the gas and return here very soon. oh and by the way everything and I mean EVERYTHING is made fresh to order so its perfectly hot. they do have the option of calling ahead though

I come here for Lunch, just about every meal on the menu is about 6 dollars during this time, and the portions are big, so the every dollar is well worth it! I highly reccomend this joint.
