Craigslist.. you're like the really awesome stepdad I never had because my parents never got divorced. You let me call you by your first name and we act buddy buddy. You do your best to help me out.. even though you eff up sometimes with stuff that you make me feel is a good idea at the time.. but never really is. I don't really know what I'm talking about. I blame the television. Anyway, Craig.. we're like BFF. Thanks for:

-Allowing me to sell numerous things when I've been out of a job
-Several million laughs over missed connections/best of Craigslist
-A couple answered ads for writing that never panned out. Probably stole my stuff and made it look better than dog poo.
-1 awkward missed connection (thanks friend for putting that up there)
-1 futon (slightly used.. my roommate's idea. Never slept on that thing)
-1 pitiful looking Charlie Brown Christmas tree (with both Christmas and Hanukkah decorations)
-1 focus group ($100 for spending a half hour talking to a lawyer about my feelings on a lawsuit)
-2 AMAZING roommates (I'm going on year 2 living with my two guy roommates. And I haven't lived with the same person for over a year since 2001)
-2 1/2 apartments (we saw an open house on here that our realtor showed us for a fee.. dangit.. but thanks for that cheap Cambridge apt with the washing machine. Too bad it was easy to break into and someone stole my computer)
-3 music teachers (voice, guitar, guitar. awesome, awesome, awesome)
-3 Passive aggressive rants about people in my life/things that have happened/ways the gods are screwing me over that particular day
-4 jobs (a gym, a cafe, a restaurant, and a shipping service. Hot damn that was a fun year. Yes, 3 of those were simultaneous)

Slash.. I love when people (old high school teachers/elders/etc) come up to me and say "Ya know.. you should try this new Craygsslist thing I found. It could really help you out."
