Cracker barrel we finally meet! After years of hearing of hearing about this place I finally made it over from California. I don't know why we don't have this there because if they did I would be there all the time. I'll be honest my interest was peeked when Gary and Amber from Teen Mom has a cracker barrel meal by moonlight and ever since that day I needed to come here. Well it was everything I could hope for and more. Nothing fancy but definitely a very friendly crowd and good food. Awesome biscuits!

Tonight I ordered the grilled pork chops,boiled red potatoes , string beans,and turnip greens to go. I must say after a surprising short wait my food was brought out .. but my order was missing a chop. I told the manager and he quickly called to correct the mistake? He even notice that the price on my check was higher than it should have-been.
The food was great ! The pork chops were tender and juicy , all of the veggie were very good. I must say that I order from this Cracker Barrel often and the Manager is Awesome I didn't get his name .. But he's the only one with a case on his hand/arm . He has the warmest smile and genuine concern for his customers . -

oooh I like the store part and breakfasts are really good too!! This place
is always busy. The prices are good and it feels very cozy here esp. with
the big fireplace!! -

So yes, it is a chain but it is so cute. The people are super nice, you get to pass the time away by the fireplace with the little games and checkers and the food is standard southern fare.
I want to rave about that coca cola cake though. That is such a great chocolate cake. The roast beef was pretty awesome too, tender, covered in gravy - yum -

My family loves Cracker Barrel compared to the likes of Ihop, Denny's, etc. You can actually glance around their store while waiting to eat so the wait times don't seem long at all. The food is great and the old country restaurant feel makes you feel at home. I really recommend Grandpas Country Fried Stake and their Biscuits & Gravy.
