Cracker Barrel is certainly the staple of any I-95 traveler who ventures south of Philadelphia. Litter across the highways, these bastions of old country cooking are perfect for stopping in and wrecking any sort of diet you may be on for the next month.
My wife and I always make it a point to get down to these locations when we can - this one holds a particular soft spot in my heart since it's what I frequented when I lived in Richmond. Granted, I can't give uber points since the decor is almost identical when you visit one anywhere (which makes me wonder if they just have a building kit that they use for these things). However, I can say the food was good, good, good. Service was ok - but the chow more than made up for it.
Oh, and it certainly beats the Hooters across the street.
I love Cracker Barrel and this is the one I come to when I am in town. Service is always very friendly. I can't say it would be different than any other Cracker Barrel. Love the Dumplings.
