Take Boiling Crab, multiply the price by two, and set it on the bay. What do you have? That's right, Crab Pot.
But it serves a purpose. A pretty spot to take out of towners and a feeling of total and utter conquest when you show those crustaceans who's the boss. Also a great place to pound the boogers out of the seafood when you're stressed out.
Those crustaceans didn't stand a chance.

I thought this place had pretty good food and although I'm a 'tourist' I like to think I know a lil something about good food. The service was not that great...he really didn't seem thrilled to be there...he kinda reminded me of that guy on the commerical for freecreditreport.com with the catchy song...haha. But it's right on the Pier and has a great view of the water. When they bring your food over they dump on your table, you put your bib on and you forget all the table manners your momma taught you and dig in! Just the way I like it. :)

Hey didn't anybody get the memo?
WOW......yeah that's right The Crab Pot is where people from Missouri and North Dakota go to have seafood and look out at the Puget Sound for the first time.
Yes that's what the locals say!
Oh my you mean it is not THE BEST Seattle seafood experience?
No NO NOOOOOo silly silly
Actually we're Oklahoma City and we wanted to come see where our new Basketball team came from.
****Disclaimer from a concerned Seattleite*** Crab pot is a fantastic restaurant to take your in laws (because it is not intimate- actually downright loud) or maybe kids as a novelty.
Maybe not a spot for a first date or romantic evening, Capice?

Scene: Overflowing with tourists
View: Overlooking Elliott Bay
Drinks: Overpriced, but generally decent
Food: Overcooked. Extremely overcooked to the point it's just bad
Recommendation: Over to Elliott's Oyster House for the same view and much, much better food

So it's really about the experience here, not the food quality because the crabs are always over cooked and the salmon is typically a more fatty variety. Plus the wait staff all walk around looking and sounding miserable...
Three stars for the process of dumping food on our table and giving adults an excuse to wear bibs. I must admit that I always feel a little guilty about being gluttonous after a visit here so my politically correct husband and I always split one of the salmon/crab combos, we don't get the feasts for two- because those are more like feasts for 12.

This is a fun place where you can go and enjoy good seafood with a completely relaxed environment.
I was just here a couple of days ago and enjoyed a good meal. Me and my date both ordered one of the feasts, which was 34.95 each person. The selection was very good, with the only thing i noticed was that they did give us a lot more steamed mussels than steamer clams. But dont get me wrong, the meal was well worth the money.
As far as the pricing goes it wasnt too bad. We each had the feast meals is stated before, also ordered the crab dip to start off with, a glass of wine each and she had a coffee drink after dinner.....Still the bill was something around $110. So it wasnt too bad for good wine and good seafood.
Would be a great place for a double date with another couple of you wanted to just have a fun time!

i have not been for a few (ok, more than a few!! try like over 7!!) years, but when i used to go when i was younger, this place was the shizz-nit! My dad, sister and I could put away 4 feasts between the three of us. And the food was always perfectly boiled, never salty. Maybe they have gone down in quality/quantity over the years?? We used to get plenty of food when we would go. Sounds like prices have stayed relatively the same, but they give you less and many have complained of the saltiness. I have wanted to go back, but this makes me dissapointed to hear. It is a really fun place to be savage and eat with your hands, though.
Alright....it's day after my wedding and my mife and I decide to take out family & friends to Seattle for some sightseeing. We do the Pike Place Market thing and people are getting hungry. We decide to walk down to the water front along the eateries along the pier. As we walk along the viaduct, we see The Crab Pot. We go in, get seated and we wait for our server. And we wait....and wait.....and wait.....still waiting.....HOLY CRAP!! How much time do we have to wait just to get our order?! Finally some other dude takes our order and we wait for our food. And we wait....and wait.....and wait.....still waiting.....HOLY CRAP!! People are on a time schedule to catch the plane back to Cali. Our food finally arrives and we get half the orders on the table while the others are still being made in the kitchen. The clam chowder sucked cause it was luke-warm and tastes O.K. (I've had way better tasting chowder at Ivar's) and my Ceasar salad is taking forever. Holy geez man, whatta have to do, hunt down the lettuce? I was completely dissatisfied with the service and I'm not too sure if I'd ever want to go back.
I am a seafood lover, I love seafood and Seattle is one of the cities known for it's seafood.
I heard and saw this Restaurant for the first time on the Food Chanel. At that moment it was decided in my heart and mind, that one day I have to visit this place. Not long after I had the chance to go to Seattle and make my dream come true.
I ordered the Seafood Feast were they throw your order on a paper covered table, with a wooden board and hammer. There are 4 choices among the Seafood Feast's; The Cove, The Westport, The Pacific Clambake and the Alaskan. The bucket stays to put, toss or dunk all you waste in, another item they provide is a big bib, it looks kinda awkward, but believe me you appreciate it later.
I must say it is truly a finger likkin' feast; andouille sausage, corn on the cob & red potatoes in combination with all the seafood.
One of my all time favorite restaurants in the world...I mean Seattle.
My parents wanted to meet me for dinner tonight so I suggested Crab Pot, usually good service and good food- good atmosphere.
My parents got there quicker then me and I met them in the bar- they had drinks- I ordered mine and we waited about 10 minutes before our table was ready. My drink still hadn't come. Then my dad went to tell the bar lady that we had a table- my mom and I go to sit down and a minute later my dad appears- he had to close the bar tab- they couldn't transfer to our table tab? strange...
So then at the table, I get carded- again for ordering a beer. Service was ok- they weren't super busy but 1/2 the employees seemed to be lounging around while the 1/2 ran their butts off...
The table we sat down to- was greasy- as if it hadn't been wiped down. It needed more paper towels. The water glasses weren't very clean. All in all- not my best experience here-
of course the food was good- a tad spendy- but good.
i think it was fun using the mallet as our eating utensil :P and we got to wear a bib too!! (uploaded a picture to see. warning: the picture may frighten little children :P) the food was delicious. i loooove seafood! i was a little disappointed to find out there was a crab pot in long beach, ca (which is near where i live) but it was still great food and a great experience ^_^

Had a fabulous lunch here yesterday. Even at noon, on the perfect Seattle day (sunny, low 70s, lots of people on the waterfront) there was no problem getting a table for a party of 5.
We opted for the feasts (variety of shellfish, corn, sausage, and potatoes) and the food was great. Fun to eat, and this was some of the sweetest corn on the cob I've had in my entire life. Even though we were all hungry, there were plenty of leftovers. My suggestion--if you have a party of 3 or more, you would probably be just fine by ordering 1 fewer of the "feasts" than the nbr of people in your party.
Good, prompt service and a fun time. 4 stars!

I find it very endearing that the wait staff puts your bib on for you. I find it highly amusing that your food gets spilled out onto the table. I practically feel on the floor laughing when one of the guys sitting at the table across from us was so determined to get every ounce of crab meat out of it's shell that he accidentally flung it and just barely missed hitting me in the face! The point is, sure during the summer months it's touristy but me and my out of town guest had fun. We didn't expect it to be the best damned seafood ever, in fact the food was average. It's the kitch factor and watching the other diners take out their frustrations with that crab mallet that won me over.

So what if it's touristy?
A. The waitress puts a bib on you.
B. Your food is dumped out of a bucket. Onto the table.
C. You get to whack stuff with a mallet!!
The food is good (there's LOTS of it). The crabcakes appy is REALLY good- it came with some orange sauce that was just awesome on it. It's just a fun place to eat! =)

First time when i was there I said " what a fun place " ^^
Second time " Not bad"
third time " well.... " ......
I was in this place earlier this week, and really, what can be said?
It right on the waterfront. They have cute bibs. You get mallets. They dump crap on your table. It's a great shtick!
Red potatoes and corn-on-the-cob to boot. Not too pricy for what you get, even.
Getting a table was a breeze at lunch, service was good. I even chatted with the chef for a bit, who seemed to be a bit overwhelmed was was still able to take the time to chat at us a bit.
The dinner crowd might be different, but this place is a great for lunch.
What a novel idea! While it's not really playing with your food, the mallet is a nice idea. I didn't find much use for it, but it was there just in case. I loved the food here. I'm usually not a big fan of calamari. I hate it if it's overcooked and rubbery, but the calamari at the Crab Pot was really flavor packed and crispy and the dipping sauce was excellent.
The combination of red potatoes and corn on the cob is great too. I don't like too much season salt and they do add too much for my liking. I'm sure if you request that they lighten up on it, you'll do just fine. Seafood was great with the exception of the crab. TOO SALTY! I wish the veggie to seafood ratio was a little more in favor of the seafood. Can't get enough of it.
As far as the service goes. I was really irritated that it took a bajillion years for us to get a table. I hate to bash such a good restaurant, but service matters, especially at such a popular restaurant.
We arrived and waited near the bar with 7 people in our party. We knew there would be a wait so we happily ordered appetizers and we're ushered near bar area after the hostess took our name down. She acknowledged that she knew we'd be seated near the bar, so we had no worries. One plate of calamari, two plates of calamari and my Pop went to go make sure she knew we were waiting, Yes, it will be another 15 minutes...ok three calamari plates already, where is our table??
A new party of 7 people entered the restaurant and we're seated immediately in the front. (They were white, we are brown.) My mother was livid. At this point my mother went to the hostess and I hid behind a menu, in fear of the lady's life!! Within 30 seconds we were told our table had magically appeared, but it was in a completely separate section of the restaurant. THE BACK.
Not to be daunted in our celebration...we enjoyed our food. Our waiter's great attitude and showmanship, more than made up for that whack hostess. Coulda had 4 stars....but that hostess blew it for ya Crab Pot.
--Edit 4/18/2008--
I ate at Crab Pot again last night for a friends birthday dinner. We had at least 25 people there! Service was great this time. It seems the hostess people are the only people in the restaurant with sticks up their butts. Our waiter was spectacular for serving all of us by himself.
The calamari didn't disappoint ! Unfortunately the most expensive part of our dinner did. After thinking about it the morning after, we spent an awful lot of money for an awful small amount of The Pacific Clambake. Ah well, we've resolved that even returning once a year is kind of too much. I forgot to review the Rhubarb cake in my last review. It's phenomenal. If I ever return to Crab Pot again, I'll order Calamari and cheaper en tree and the Rhubarb cake.
In retrospect, you're paying for the novelty. I had a great time with my friends and thats what makes the price easier to swallow. I would have given 3 1/2 stars, but in the spirit of rounding up, Crab Pot gets 4.

*thump*
Dropped the ball 3x in 2 hours so I had to go check if he was awake & functioning. Tells me that his inability to do the job is *my problem*.
*smack*
At least the fruits of my labor were pristine pieces of crab.
You also get to go to town on the shrimp still in the shell, complete with shrimp heads on.
Wanted to take that mallet back to work with me but that would have been dangerous.

We ate here on our final night in Washington. Got the Alaskan meal which was $34. The waiter put a bib on us then poured our food all over the table. We had 5 of those meals 3 Alaskan and 2 of another which had a different variety of seafood. We cleaned house and literally just had a potato left on the table. Food wasn't awesome but was good. Good place to try once but its a little pricey for the amount of food that you get. For less you can go to Todai's and get the buffet for almost the same price and go crazy on whatever you want.
We went to seattle for a mini get away and ate dinner at The Crab Pot...Crab...Yummy. BUT Our dinner was way over boiled/cooked. The crab shells was really rubbery (we needed clamps not malets:()and shell fish was pruney looking. But i have to say the corn and potatoes were perfectly cooked. But the main reason we got went there was to eat a pile of Mixed seafood on the table with a malet and our hands...it was awful that all the seafood was over cooked.
We had the "The Alaskan" from the Sea Feast for Two section. "THE ALASKAN" -KING CRAB, DUNGENESS CRAB, SNOW CRAB, SHRIMP IN THE SHELL, STEAMED CLAMS, PACIFIC MUSSELS, ANDOUILLE SAUSAGE, CORN ON THE COB & RED POTATOES IN THEIR JACKETS for $32.95 Per Person.
I would have said something...but I didnt know if we had to wait more time for the second batch and we were pretty hungry and BF said dont bother. And they give you more starches and sausages than seafood. The King Crab was dinky too. Little meat in the legs.
My Daughter had the CALAMARI & CHIPS $8.95. Its the only thing we didnt mind at all...cause my kid loved and ate as much as she could and shes 2.
Good Idea, but wished that the food turned up better Not great for the price. And didnt use the malet...just a downer!

I was deeply disappointed. The concept was cute, BUT the food was overcooked. The service was horrible. And the prices were unbelievable.
We ordered the cioppino and it was nothing special. In fact I am sure I could make better at home. The hubby had the colossal burger and wound up waiting almost 20 mins for ketchup!! The kids had the popcorn shrimp, and well it was JUST typical popcorn shrimp. The tartar sauce for this was amazingly dull.
When I asked for an extra plate, so that I could separate the kids fries from their meal. (Toddler won't eat food if fries are on his plate...) Our server rudely pointed out a small note on the menu saying that extra plates and certain other requests are subject to a $3 fee!!! WHAT!?! And add to that they charge you for a small loaf off bread and some butter. Most places give that complimentary the moment you sit down!
If you don't mind crappy service, bad attitudes, and spending money on the "freshness" of the seafood that they overcook. This is the place to go!! NEVER GOING BACK!

I would give them 3.5 stars if I could. We absolutely love sea food and crab is my personal favorite. Our server was pleasant but clearly very rushed. Our bread and hot crab dip came very quickly and was absolutely fabulous. We did have to push it away as we waited over 20mins for our main dish to arrive. But when it did....... holy bat meals what is that? They covered our table in butcher paper, gave us each a plank and an mallet and literally dumped a huge bowl of hot steamed clams, oysters, muscles and two kinds of crab on the table! It was of course served with hot butter, lemon and cocktail sauce. We couldn't eat it all, which is a rare. I have found a new place to take friends and family who come to visit Seattle.
I marked them low because of the wait time and the prices are a bit high (but worth it if you love sea food).

Eh.. Food was good, but I felt like just another crazy tourist in search of a real seafood experience..
I had the salmon burger.. mom had the shrimp skewers.. we shared the crab legs.. The shrimp was grilled and very tasty.. lots of veggies and a potato on the side. The salmon burger was okay.. the french fries were tasty, though. Delicious crab.
Good service and an outdoor seating area right on the water..
Next door was a seafood walk up to order counter and rows of picnic tables.. this looked a bit more authentic and prices seemed similar...but, I wish we would've chosen this seafood spot instead..
I had so much excitment coming to the Crab Pot because I've never dinned with a bib had my food spilled out all over the table, put so much effort into eating my food, or got my hands so dirty during dinner. The staff was great and so hyped to see the faces of tourist laughing and getting dirty with their food. It did suck that we had to order the same thing for two persons. When I think about it $46 is not really worth it.
The crab cakes were pretty good and big portions, but I don't think it was worth $12.
The Westport $23: Mussels, clams, shrimp, 1/2 snow crab, 1/2 dungeness crab, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes
The potatoes were not good, we just threw them away. The shrimp was overcooked. The crab was okay. The mussels and clams were smaller than I expected. The corn on the cob was okay, there was some type of seasoning on it. The andouille sausage was okay as well.
This place is SAVAGE. I love it. I love seafood and crab and this is def. the place to go if you a) you are needing to let out your inner-tourist and b) would just like to eat like a fucking pig for a good solid hour.
I would suggest ordering "the alaskan." The corn on the cob/ red potatoes along with the shrimp and mussel/clam mix and crab is really great. The bibs you get to wear are also a nice touch. The Mallets they give you to crack crab with along with your own personal chopping board doesnt hurt either. !
If you have out of town visitors this is a great place to take them. Not only is it great becasue its on the waterfront but its a solid Feast. It's also pretty close to Pike Place so you'll be able to do the whole "Seattle-tourist take my picture and put it on Myspace" thing. I dont think you'll be disappointed.

This is my restaurant of choice for my birthday dinner, every year. Unfortunately, my birthday is in July, so that means EVERYONE who's on the waterfront is here. Be prepared to wait for a while for your table. We usually go to the carousel and play video games while waiting though. It is so much fun to come here, put your bib on, hammer at your food and eat with your fingers! See you in July (if not sooner)!

Touristy? You bet. But during the safe months for getting near the waterfront/market (ie november to may), it's good fun and great when you want a huge mess of seafood. the crab is pretty plentiful, there are lots of clams, and gosh darn it, that mallet is therapeutic. i wouldn't brave the waterfront in july for it, but there's one in bellevue, too.
their outside seafood bar is also pretty righteous. best burger on the waterfront if you ask me. mmm, spicy mayo.

we get there and to order that, it starts at 30 dollars per person. We were there for lunch so that was a little bit more than we were anticipating paying. So I got fish n chips instead. Gross. The chips were the best part. The batter on the fish tasted like straight white bread. it was weird. it was like eating fish in a piece of toast. the clam chowder was okay.

I was a reluctant to eat at a touristy restaurant, but the long line that caught my eye was full of locals. This is the perfect place to let your hair down, roll your sleeves up, put on a bib and use a hammer to eat your food. Big groups will have a blast.
We ordered "THE ALASKAN" and had a feast. The helping will more than satisfy your seafood fix for a long time. The crabs were fresh and easy to eat. The potatoes and corn were cooked just right and perfect in between hammering crabs. It was finger-lickin' good.

I just wasn't really impressed with the touristy look of the restaurant. It made me feel like I would be paying for the touristy location. And then I found out that the Crab Pot was a chain restaurant. Service was slow and forgetful at times... prices were acceptable. If you don't like to spend money on your food or want it to come in bulk so that you can leave feeling stuffed with crab legs and mussels, then this might be your restaurant. It certainly wasn't my first pick.

***WARNING - REVOLTING RESTAURANT BEHAVIOR DESCRIBED***
And no, it wasn't even us with our mallets, but you'll have to wait for it.....
After a long day of house chores, I decided we needed a special treat, so Chris and I decided to meet
Fresh-off-the-sands-of-Golden-Gardens Mitzie at the Crab Pot. Mitzie's an old pro at Crab Pot and soon we were seated with our table-full of seafood chosen. We shared the Westport with an extra crab - tons of food, yummy crab, etc. though I'm still bemoaning the fact that I wasted precious tummy room on fillers such as corn and potatoes.
Chris realized he'd crossed over into an alternate eating world when he dipped his chorizo into the butter. Cardiologists in Seattle must love the Crab Pot.
Anyway, we'd had a lovely though over-filling meal and had paid the bill when a harried busser with sweat pouring off him came over to clean the table. We were chatting about this and that, when I noticed that the busser had just pulled a huge batch of paper towels off our roll.
He then proceeded to wipe the paper towels all over his face like he'd just gotten out of a shower (which was shock #1) and THEN he wiped down our table with said paper towels. I swear to God. I was so shocked I exclaimed "OH!" and then we just sat there stunned.
He walked off, and we just sat there in silence. Really, the first thought that went through my mind was, "Now why would they teach him to do it like that?" Chris is so polite he said he never even noticed it happened. Mitzie finally snapped out of her daze, but we never fully recovered.
We left the restaurant so full my spine hurt and so disgusted I'm not sure I can ever see a crab or a paper towel again.
I'm done with you Crab Pot.

Never goin' back.
That's harsh and I'm standin' by it! First time visit and it will be my last.
I came here with the BF's best friend and his girl for his birthday dinner on Sat. Lemme tell ya', line out the door, out the next door, and along the outside of the restaurant lead me to believe I was in for a treat. I was wrong.
Service: The worst service I have ever encountered. Ryan was my server. He passed our table and in passing would ask if we'd like refills, sauces, etc. and before we could peep a request, he was off. He began taking our order and (I am not lying), in the middle of telling him what I wanted he said "actually, can you hold on a minute"....walked away, bussed a table, took ANOTHER tables order, then came back and started OVER (no, not continuing where he left off with us) and that process lapse took about 10 minutes. Off to a bad start only to get worse. I asked him for a new soda three times and finally got up to ask one of the hostesses for it, whom then replied that she was sorry and that he was obviously really busy. The Manager brought me my drink by reaching over my head to set it down and then spilled it on me. We asked for four boxes for our food, we got one. We asked for three more, we got two. Finally, we got the food in the boxes and asked that our bill be split between the two couples and it was not. I then gave the bill back to Ryan and asked for him to split it and the bill came back with an EXTRA soda. Wow.
I know. You say, well....the line WAS out the door....right? Yes, I had considered that but than I added into the equation the fact that my server had enough time to have a smoke (wreaked of it the third time around our table) and chat with the hostess for a straight five minutes (this is when I was waiting for the soda).
Onto the food. While the concept of a bucket'o seafood dumped on your table, given a mallet to smash it open and eat at your hearts content is genius the quality was lacking and the seafood was overcooked. Our friends had the "Alaskan" and were not pleased. The BF had the Halibut and chips with a clam chowder starter. I had the Calamari strips as a starter with a house salad and bowl of chowder. The Halibut was good but very average. The tarter sauce was no good and the BF had wished he had brought his own. Fries were fine. The clam chowder was your regular New England but very run of the mill. I was disappointed to have gotten a bowl. After the first bite I had wished I just ordered the salad and stuck with water.
One of my least favorite Seattle experiences.

Inside was a mad house. Then, I realized it is Halloween Weekend. And not everyone wants hot dogs and McDonald's for lunch. So, I noticed CrabPot to be a good family choice.
I did the little outdoor cafe that's has shared seating with other food merchants. A lot of singles and couples had lunch there today. So, I may have been alone, but it was like I was part of a group. Yeah.... and the weather was great too.
They have all kinds of seafood and burgers. I think all the seafood outside is fried, except for the soups and chowders. And panko crusted seems to be an "in" thing.
Well, prices are great for the types, style and grade of food served. The service and dining experience is kinda raw, but that's what a Boil & Toss is all about. I'm sure they wanted to keep the same feel for around for everyone to enjoy.
No veggie burgers outside. I had a cheeseburger. The wait was 10 minutes. So, I read Reader's Digest with Renee Zellweger talking about how great single life really should be.
My order was up.
The cheeseburger was really good. All the fixings. There's a spicy mayo instead of ketchup too. Close enough to be backyard grilled. The bun was sort of hard. Otherwise, It was excellent.

The crab is DELICIOUS, but I just wish everything wasn't so expensive. I could have done with an all-crab meal, but my wallet wouldn't have been able to handle it. It's nice that the menu does offer different-priced options, based on what you want in your "pot."
It's a fun environment if you're going with a bunch of friends, though, and it's fun to pull everything apart with your hands. I'm not a fan of stuffy, formal restaurants, so the Crab Pot is ideal for me. My husband was so comfortable there that he burped really loudly, forgetting that he was in public until all our friends burst into laughter (and the woman at the table next to us glared at him).
We had a table overlooking the waterfront, too. Because we were there with friends from out of town, I think it was a very "Seattle" experience for them to be eating seafood on the water. However, having been crabbing--where you get to eat a lot of crab for the cost of the crabbing license--it's hard to justify paying so much for crab in a restaurant.

I'm a little torn about this place. It has decent outdoor seating and I left feeling full and happy.
That being said, the food quality/presentation was a little low. Having everything dumped on your table is fun, but finding the insides of your clams stuck to other shells and crabs is not so fun. There were also a few pieces that looked less than fresh but could have just been a little colored from rolling around with all the other food.
I'd go back when I have more visitors, but I'd not gonna go there for a regular supper.

I've lived in the area for years and never ventured into The Crab Pot. After eating there list night, my big question is why didn't we try it sooner! And we led ourselves here without seeing any Yelp reviews first - an adventure was about to unfold.
It was late - around 9:30 and we had just finished the Ghost Tour out of "Ye Old Curiosity Shoppe". We were tired and HUNGRY, after our earlier Fish & Chips fiasco at Little Chinooks in Ballard. My wife wanted more fish - I had had enough for the day after that, even though I love seafood. We wandered past the Crab Pot and looked at their menu. Janice was immediately enthralled by lots of seafood and they were open till at least 10:30 so we went in.
We were seated near the window facing the Argosy dock. The couple at the table next to us had BIBS, boards and mallets and were enjoying a huge bowl of clam chowder and Sourdough Bread. It already looked like fun - more fun than my business second trip to Eurika, CA years ago, when the guy with us who was a dainty eater got Chiopinno at recommendation and they brought him a bib and a look of horror overcame his face.
We started off with the clam chowder, always a risk, some are horrible bad, some are overpowered by foreign stuff like bacon. The clam chowder was excellent, and the Sourdough bread - not on my diet, but I couldn't keep my hands off of it. We also ordered the Cove Feast, at 14.95, the cheapest, but we hadn't had steamed clams or muscles for a while and I don't like Snow or King crab - just fill me up with Dungeness!
As with all, it was dumped on our table, mounds of clams and muscles. The clams were delectable, the muscles were OK, the prawns were - ummm not that great. Problem with this stuff is, it is seasonal and the warmer months can produce iffy shellfish. So clams went in the mouth, muscles and prawns went in the drawn butter on their way.
The red potatoes - ummm potatoes, since I am limited on carbs I stuck with the wonderful bread and the corn. And they got it! Fresh corn, some of it was very mature, but it was obviously an extra sweet variety, it was delicious. The only minus, was they could have kept the Cajin spices out off, they didn't really effect anything but the corn and my wife can't handle them because of the salt. But I guess the upside was more corn for me.
All in all, a fun and tasty dining experience. I will definitely go there again.
And, Tiffany S., It's OK - they do wipe their tables with a sanitizing rag, as required, before they seat their next guests at the table.
