Fantastic in my book.  On the patio with a cool breeze, lots of plants to look at and the Cinco Sampler.

Five frozen margaritas (white, blue, green, red and brown) in a wooden pyramid.  Each with a distinctive flavor.  Just enough for a good tasting before arrival of the Black and White Ahi Tuna Salad.

A very generous portion of sesame crusted seared Ahi over  crisp mixed greens,  crisp red bell peppers and purple onions with soft, very tasty mangos tossed with a fat free mango-lime vinaigrette.

For lunch I feel like I hit the jackpot.  The look and feel was like a Mexican restaurant I had been to in Guadalajara but no need for a passport

I will definitely plan to return for Happy Hour in the near future.

Prospective boss took me here for lunch during our day long interview.  The place was MAYBE half full at 12:15pm.  I immediately became nervous given the location of this place- amongst literally a sea of office parks, high-rise office buildings, and shopping centers.

The food was just ok.  Not horrible, but nothing special.  Everything about this place screams "Chevy's" or "On the Border".  The decor, the theme, the food, the drinks, etc.  Given the low turnover here, I would also suspect that things weren't the freshest around.  The beans tasted a bit dry and old, and the rice was almost as if it had been reheated.  Gross.

If you want generic "Mexican" food and work within walking distance, then ok if you must.  Otherwise, look elsewhere.

+Good for work functions/large parties.  I came here with 24 new co-workers (24 strangers, basically) we had a room all to ourselves, were waited on hand & foot, constantly replenished with chips & salsa, and served table-side guac with a smile.

+Yummy-looking margarita sampler presentation, although I just ordered the standard margarita on the rocks for my 1st round and a potent mango margarita for the 2nd.  Usually, I can't taste the liquor in fruit margaritas, but in this one I could.

+Fantastic tomato bisque soup.  Nice steak fajita salad but my jalapeno dressing was borderline gross.  I mean it sounded good, but I don't eat with my ears.  But they did also have an enticing dessert sampler served in the same holder as the one for the margaritas.  I didn't try anything because no one else I know likes flan as much as me, so I passed on it.

In all, not bad for a Mexican restaurant chain...not bad at all, even when dining with 24 people I really don't know.

Hmmm....where should I start....

I've been to the Cozymel down in La Jolla which I think is decent. So when we went to visit a friend at LAX...we decided to come here.

The place was crowded, but that was due to a Laker game going on...but we got seated right away. Our waitress came to take our orders and the chips and salsa came shortly ... we ordered some queso dip and ate so much of the chips with queso dip and salsa while waiting for our food that we were full, I only ate half of my meal.

So...the place emptied out fairly quickly....
http://static.px.yelp....

However the service was still so slow...we could never find our waitress to ask for to go boxes. When she finally did come over we asked for the bill, she was checking over the bill while walking to us and said she got the order wrong and that she was going to go fix it...but instead of going straight to the register she went over to take other tables' orders! ugh!!!

She just took forever ... but I don't blame it on her ... I think maybe she was just entirely overwhelmed. There were other people working there doing absolutely nothing...the "manager" I saw use his flashlight to signal to other workers to work quicker or something...it was distracting and odd, they are not trained seals where you need a flashlight to make them perform duties. I didn't like it, plus we can all see him flashing his flashlight everywhere. So weird.

I give it 1 star for the chips + salsa and 1 star for my decent food.

I used to go to Cozymel's a lot about 10 years ago. And since I don't drink and I didn't really care for Mexican food back then, it was nothing more than a place to hang out with friends while they whooped it up during happy hour.

Well, I went again the other night for dinner and realized I've been missing out on their tableside guacamole. Prepared with a bunch of your standard guacamole ingredients, but not too overwhelming. I had the carne asada tacos and JS had some pork thing, which was falling off the bone. We were both stuffed, but since it was a belated bday celebration, I had to try the fried ice cream. I guess they take cornflakes and deep fry them or something. It was good, but the outer layer was not as crispy as I like my fried ice cream. It was a huge scoop of ice cream and a good way to top off the meal.

What I like is that this place is huge, good for large or small groups. There's an outside patio area and sections that can be closed off if you want a more private group meal. What I don't like is sitting on the bench seats with some rude people right up against your back in the booth behind who, who can't stop moving their butts. So if you don't want to eat dinner on a see-saw, ask for a table and avoid those booths.

I was looking for a place somewhat close to LAX. I have friends in town from Norway and they typically want to eat food that is not readily available in Norway. The food was remarkably better than my expectations.

While you are thinking about what you want to eat - they bring you bowls of chips and salsa. It was very good. Not spicy enough for me - but a good level of flavor when considering everyone. I also took what was left of the salsa and poured it over my rice later and it was delicious.

The service was not stellar - but was good enough. The waiter did take the time to offer suggestions of what he would recommend and order if it were him. My friends had only had Mexican food like 2 other times and it was in Mexico. So they needed some advice and language help with the menu.

My wife and our friends all got the same item. They got the fish taco of the day - which was sea bass. And though I love sea bass - I like Yellofin Ahi more. So, I got the fajita platter with Ahi.

They were able to choose grilled, blackened, or fried for their sea bass tacos. I tried both the blackened and the fried off peoples plates. Both were quite good.

I am not a huge fan of black beans - but they were pretty good. And the rice had corn in it - which I like. My platter had warm fajitas, guacamole, sour cream, pico de galo, rice, black beans, and a little bit of lettuce. I myself like either a whole lot of pico de galo or a whole lot of salsa. So, I used what was left of the salsa on the table as well.

The tuna steak was quite large and cooked perfectly medium rare. Really any more than that does not help the flavor at all. And per my request they put spicy herbs on top of the tuna steak. I like my food spicy. The tuna was amazing. The beans were edible. The rice was good. And together in a fajita it was all delicious.

The prices may have been high for Mexican food - but were not high when compared to other restaurants nearby. It was very reasonable when compared to McCormick and Schmicks, PF Chang's, and Houstons, which were the nearby options.

If your tall - keep a keen eye out. I whacked my head on a potted plant on the way in.

*Edit - this is not authentic. If your looking for more traditional fare - go elsewhere. And the food was not nearly spicy enough. But, we got what we were looking for.

I visited Cozymel's last week for dinner with visiting relatives at their suggestion. It was a Thursday night and the place was packed! From the outdoor patio, to the bar and the dining area. But as crowded as it was we were still able to be seated immediately.

We started off dinner with their Guacamole en tu Mesa. Basically it's their guacamole that they prepare fresh at your tableside. I liked the fact that they bring all the ingredients (red onion, cilantro, serrano peppers, tomatoes, fresh orange and fresh lime)  and ask what if anything you would like to omit. It was pretty tasty and they keep it bit chunky with nice sized pieces of avocado throughout which I love! But I felt it a bit overpriced at $9. I mean it is a good serving size but nearly $10?? Next time I'll just stick with the complimentary salsa, which I also enjoyed!  The salsa is pureed (which I love!), spicy and served with fresh chips. Very yum!

For dinner I chose the Lobster Burrito/Enchilada? I can't recall which it was, lol! (It was part of their specials) It was a nice sized burrito filled with their house rice (spanish type rice with corn niblets), lobster and fish topped with a white (sour cream?) sauce. While it was tasty it was lacking in lobster meat, however, for the price it was to be expected ($15). Overall it was a good sized burrito served with a side of grilled veggies and beans, but I opted for more rice.

My brother had the Chicken Mole Enchiladas which were also quite tasty. I've never tried mole and was surprised at the smoky sweet taste. Very simple dish with 3 chicken and cheese enchiladas topped with a pecan mole and served with a salad and rice.

My Aunt chose the Tuna Fajitas. This dish was quite tasty. Grilled tuna served atop sauteed veggies with rice and flour tortillas. I had a small bite of the tuna and it was very tasty. The mix of the sauteed veggies and tuna was very flavorful!  My Uncle chose the Crab Enchilada's. I didn't sample his dish but he ate every bit of it so I'm guessing it was good?

For dessert we chose their dessert sampler. It was five of their desserts served in what looked like shot glasses. The five desserts served was their Key Lime pie, Banana custard, Margarita cheesecake, Tres Leches Chocolate cake and a fifth one I can't remember, lol! They were all quite tasty, my favorite though were the Banana custard and the Key Lime pie! YUM!

Overall it was a good experience. The service was friendly, efficient and prompt. The food was good, not excellent, but good. The one complaint I do have is that the place was quite loud. You can hear anything and everything and I believe they also have music playing and tv's going. You definitely have to speak up when you're talking across the table. I may be back the food was tasty and the desserts were delicious!

Pretty dull and lifeless.  Bland, and without any character. Our waitress seemed pretty miserable, and only bothered to smile and make eye contact when she handed us the bill.

If you are looking for a "Mexican" restaurant for an incredibly boring meal, here's your place.

Ehhhhhhhh.

It was OKAY. Very tex mex. I know this is a chain b/c I've been to one in Chicago, but I tried a new dish...

I got the chicken enchiladas w/ sour cream sauce and asked for fajita chicken (not real into the whole shredded-I don't know where it came from-chicken thing).... And honestly, they were REALLY boring. They were pretty dry. I am not sure what would have made them better, but I wasn't impressed at all.

I will say their service was very good and the chips and salsa, very good also. Hot chips, very thin and crispy.. Yum. But, yeah, just okay.

Quick & Dirty:

It's "Mexican" Food, but not extremely good "Mexican" food.  Atmosphere is nice but on the loud side.  Cool outdoor seating with fireplace.  Service prompt and friendly.   Not a home run but not a foul ball either.

Long & Okay:

If this review is kind of blah that's because this restaurant is.

So as a former Brinker Int'l employee (Chili's) I know that this was at one point one of Brinkers' Brands along with Chili's, Corner Baker, On The Border, Maggiano's, and Macaroni Grill.  Cozymel's was one of the lesser knowns.  I don't think it is a Brinker brand any longer.

This Cozymel's is a decent place to eat for a Corporate-style restaurant.  It's located in the middle of business building central and surrounded by other higher end casual dining choices.  The food is okay but not great.  It's hard to do high end "Mexican" without being ridiculous.

We started with the "Queso" which tasted like Easy Cheese from the spray bottle melted down into a bowl.  I had enchiladas that were okay.  The chips come in a silver bowl and the salsa wasn't anything special.  We all were content with our meals but nothing was notable and that is exactly what's wrong with this place.  I've had margaritas here before but they were just a'ight.

Would I go back here again.  Sure, but I hope they get better because the "Mexican" is missing a little.

Table-side-hand-made guacamole is excellent when avocados are in season. Otherwise it's kinda skimpy for the money.

Rest of the food? Meh. Unremarkable at best. I've never had a bad meal here, but I've never had a really good one, either. Even with margaritas flowing...

Best part of this place is the WARM chips and salsa.  Gawddamn, I tell you, I always fill my stomach up so much with their *free* chips and salsa.  You can also ask for their special Hot salsa, and the server would have to run back to the kitchen to get it for you.  I personally prefer their regular salsa, which they just scoop from a section in the front of the restaurant.

The chips are fresh, crunchy, and tasty.  They are the perfect size to dip into the salsa bowl.  And BTW, they are not cheap with their chips and salsa.  They are more than happy to refill, refill, and refill your chips and salsa until you cry no-more!

I tend to ask the waiter for my own bowl of salsa since I like to double dip my chips into them.  I mean, one scoop is never enough, right?  You got to take a chip, dip it into the salsa, get the onions and cilantro into the chip and take a bite.  After the bite, your chip is bare and naked again.  And it would seem so wrong to take another bite of your chip without dipping it back into the salsa.

Of course, some people perfect the "turn-around" method... meaning that they'll take a bite from the NORTH end of the chip, and then turn the chip around and dip the SOUTH end of the chip back into the salsa to complete the method.

This seems way too much work for me... and what if you miscalculate and dip the WEST end of the chip back into the salsa?  Or worse, you dip the NORTH-EAST of the chip back into the salsa?  With the salsa being quite wet, it would be extremely hard to distinguish between the saliva and the natural juices of the salsa.

Thus, take my advice and ask the waiter for your own bowl of salsa.  This way you can ensure that your salsa is not molested by anyone else.  And really, there are more things to worry about then sharing saliva with your friends.

Oh yeah, besides the *free* chips and salsa, they have pretty good fajitas.

After getting tickets to a movie and with an hour or so to spare, we decided to get a quick bite and while we didn't regret it, I don't think we'd go out of way to come back.

The food was average, on par with Chevy's, a little bit worse than Acapulco. Service was decent and the drinks were ok. Pretty average overall.

This place is your typical chain mexican place.  Nothing too fancy.  The food is ok, haven't really had all that they offer but I suspect the food is fine.

The happy hour is GREAT.  4-7 (7:15 is the actual cut off). Margaritas are $3.50, Beers I think $2.50.  The mix is pre-made so it is a corporate poor.  The seating in the bar is GREAT with TV's all around....good place to catch a game and get some drinks.

On Tuesday's happy hour is until Close.  GREAT southbay deal. I would typically give it a 3 star but...I like the bar, the happy hour is good, nice service so it gets a 4 star.

I have gone to Cozymels a number of times, and cannot put my finger on what I do not like.

Chips and Salsa - Nice
Margaritas - Adequate
Food - Just not there.

The tortilla soup is good, but that is hard to screwup.  I am with Pooja, some of the dishes come out and are not what you expect.

The one thing I did laugh at, was the spanish lesson tapes playing in the rest room.

Okay here is the thing....it's the fact that Cozumel, Mexico is CozUmel...not Cozymel....

Strike one - I am sure it's an attempt at cute but I don't get it...and frankly...if it's a play on something.....it fails miserably.

Strike two - the waiter was too familiar and asked my dining  partner (who happened to be my boss) if anyone ever told her she looked like Terri Garr. My boss was offended because apparently Terri Garr is looking pretty tore up as of late.

Strike three - the food tastes like frozen Mexican food you buy in the freezer aisle at the grocery store.

Cozymel's  for me, you are out.

Service was ehn, and there really was nothing that stood out for me.

The ex location of Randy & Sinjin's side out (wow, I think I just dated myself)

Tex Mex - restaurant chain food.  I like the cozy combo, fajitas, taco's, and the fresh guacamole they make at the table.  Drinks are not bad at all either.

I worked by here for many years, and had many lunches there.  Service is always good.

A good place to eat for a Mexican craving - with a lil twist.

To be honest, I don't even know how this place got chosen to watch a basketball game or used as a social hangout.

It's weird about Rosecrans Avenue at this stretch where this location is considered to be El Segundo, but Houston's at across the street is considered Manhattan Beach? Weird, but geographically it's just not plausible.

Not really genuinely authentic of a Mexican restaurant. Think of it as an El Torrito in a condense setup. The food was not very memorable... as I don't really have a feeling of being wowed by this place's cooking. Looking over the menu, I could swore it is the same exact menu reprinted from Acapulco restaurant

Well, I took the safe route and ordered their fajitas. Not that bad, but they actually forgot to bring the flour tortillas when the food came. If you are that forgetful, then no need to bring out the meat and rice either.

The ambiance is OK with a lot of the weird and vibing of a dressed up Caribbean seafood restaurant. This place can get rowdy as it is being invaded by many of the sports fans that comes here during basketball and football season. That is probably the worst time to come in here to dine.

Interestingly, I guess Southbay have zero Latino populations because I never noticed one that came to eat here yet. What does that tell you when Latinos don't visit a "Fresh Authentic Mexican Fare" claimed at the website?

Yeah, I should have known......

The good:
-Excellent Happy Hour drink prices, $3 large beers/margarita's
-dos equis amber on tap. in large goblets. for $3...DOS EQUIS AMBER .... MMMMMMM
-the food is OK, as long as you order from the regular menu

The bad:
-the happy hour appetizers.  They might be cheap, but its really not worth getting full off of some cheap nacho cheese garnished with some canned chile peppers, or the quesadilla, which had no flavor at all.
-a bit noisy usually in the bar area

The verdict:
If you work close to Cozymel's like I do (e.g. walking distance or within a few blocks) its a good place to meet during happy hour for a few drinks and free tortilla chips

*EDIT* (my thoughts 8 months later)
happy hour drink specials still make this place worth my money. but, every time i go with my buddy all we get is a large beer or 2, eat a few bowls of chips, and split the chicken flautas appetizer. I feel so crappy afterward from the flautas and chips and grease that i usually dont eat dinner when i go home. maybe I should try a salad or something.

You know what tastes great after a long, sweaty work out?  A basket of chips and a big ass margarita.  That's right.  It may defeat the purpose of the work out, but what a great reward!

(FYI - Cozymel's is conveniently located across the street from the Manhattan Beach 24 Hour Fitness, for those of you who are interested in such a treat.)

As other reviewers have said, the margaritas are good.  The rest of the food is fair to midland.  They do have interesting choices on the menu like paella and a lunchtime baked chicken chile relleno.  They get a star for that in my book.

However, not only is the food meh, it's incredibly loud and the service is pretty bad.  I actually had a server walk away with the credit card for the bill and not come back for 45 MINUTES (made me wonder if they ran off and went shopping).

So, I guess the trick is to come here when you're good and hungry so you don't care about the quality of the food...like after a workout.  Enjoy!

It's funny how the places that you go the most are the last to be reviewed!  I go to Cozy's all the time for Happy Hour!

The margaritas are good, the table side gauca is great and there are enough boys to point out to my single sister-in-law.

The food and service suck!  Whatever.  A strong margarita fixes a multitude of sins...

3 stars for solely having an awesome happy hour menu.  All domestic draft for $2 and imported draft for $3 and they all come in this gigantic goblet.  Well, yeah, it's 16oz, but it gives away the false sense of "gigantic portion."  Their several margaritas as well are about $3 in the same goblet.  Mmm mmm mmm!!!

Well, I don't care for their food though.  It's mediocre at its best.  Saddest thing about this place is their nachos.  When I ordered it, it came on the flat plate, with about 10 pieces of chips neatly placed apart from each other, with cheese and meat topping sitting on top of each chip.  It kindda looked like a Mexican version of bruschetta.  Come on, who wants neatly placed 10 pieces of chips!!???  I want my gooey nachos!!!  I wanna make a mess by sticking my fingers into the pool of melted cheese, beans, sour cream, salsa, and guacamole!!!  What's so fun about having nachos if I can't lick all those goo off of my fingers!?

Ok, too much excitement there, sorry.  But I'm sure you understand my agony that I got from their nachos.  That is just not right.  At least their salsa is decent with their warm chips...  Once again, 3 stars solely for happy hour.

Call me crazy, but I thought that shrimp enchiladas were supposed to have, uhm, flavor. Actually, this goes for all of the food here.

Because it's hard to mess up chips, and salsa, the chips and salsa are fine.  Granted, the salsa comes in a bowl the size of a thimble, so expect to flag down the wait staff at least 4 times for more of it.

This is especially important when the entrees come, and taste somewhere between styrofoam, and chalk.

You'll want to get your fill in the only edible thing on the table.  Chips and salsa.

I haven't tried the margaritas, but you can get an imported Mexican bottle of beer for $4.50.  If that counts for something.

Meh.

That's about as well as I can describe it.

If you're looking for some authentic mexican food... don't bother.

They DO have some good guacamole though (made freshly in front of you).  And they have a bunch of okay fru fru (yes.... I said fru fru) drinks.

The place is pretty big.  It can seat well over 100+.  Also has a relaxed atmosphere.

It's a convenient hang-out if you work close by and your workmates want to meet up to get drunk.

We've done this on many occasion.

Huge menu with moderate prices... you can expect to pay anywhere from $8 - $22 per plate.

I would give this place a higher rating, but Cozymel's management got rid of our favorite bartender a month ago. My coworkers and I would frequent this place twice a week to cope with our dreary existences over Hef schooners and Stoli tonics, which our favorite bartender would happily hook us up with for a significant discount. Since we found out she was gone, we haven't been back.

Yes the margaritas are good and happy hour prices are decent, especially $1 tacos on Cinco De Mayo. However, the only thing worth eating there is the Pork Rostisado, which can last you for two meals. Everything else is mediocre. Unless you're going there to drink for happy hour, I wouldn't recommend it. And even then happy hour at McCormick's down the street, with their decent selection of beer to wash down their tasty $2 cheesburgers, would be a better pick.

Straight forward Americanized Mexican food....nothing is bad here....bring a group, bring your sweetheart all will enjoy....the drinks are strong ad the food is good...

Try their margarita sampler....My ex and i use to get one for each of use..by the time we left she was drunk and I was happily buzzed....

They also have a nice little outside patio with a fire pit that is fun....good for after work drinks..

For a long time this was a place that i went to at least once a week.......

Enjoy...

Good if you want American style Mexican.  The chips are those paper thin tortilla kind and I doubt they make them on site.  Order the guac, but beware because it's huge!  They make it in front of you and you can choose what you want in it.  Also got the Ahi Tuna Salad and ordered it rare.  Perfectly cooked or should I say uncooked.

Good array of choices on the menu.  Nothing exceptional or spectacular, but chainy enough that I think it could be reliable.  We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed and very noisy.  Lots of kids everywhere screaming their cute little heads off.  Outdoor seating is available and I thought the service that night was a bit lacking.  Overall not bad.

OH except for the parking which stinks.  The spaces are wide enough just for your car and nothing else.  Also there's this weird one way thing going on in the parking lot, where you don't find out it's one way until you've already turned down the aisle and then you have every car in the joint honking as you try to back up.  Then they're all pissed at you and the restaurant is so packed that you end up having to stand right beside them as you wait for a table giving those uncomfortable 'i know you honked at me' and 'you drive like an idiot' glances.  Ride your bike if you can.

This place was quite a surprise.  The ambiance is more along the lines of Chili's than what I might consider an authentic Mexican restaurant (i.e. sports at the bar, chintzy decor, loud music/patrons, etc.).  We went for convenience and not much more.  However, we sat outside and it was quite lovely (the music was a little grating, but I forgot it was there after a while).  The service was absolutely impeccable...not attentive to an annoying degree, but came by to check on us just often enough.  We ordered nachos to start and they were fantastic, and I ordered the Baked Chile Rellano and it really was a shock how good it was.  HUGE, cheap margaritas...I had the Sangria Swirl and it was a serious experience.  Again, while some aspects of this place might be a turn-off, the service and the food and drinks really were marvelous, so I would certainly recommend it.

I came here last night with my uncle because he wanted to take me out to dinner for my graduation. I felt like I had been to another location before but when the food came I think this was my first time. My uncle is a vegetarian so he had the spinach quesadillas and my mom had the chicken fajitas. I went for the Carne Asada... When I got my plate is was not what I had expected Carne Asada to be. Instead of a flat steak I got a real steak (which I didn't really mind) it had some salsa mix on top of it. The steak was very tasty but I felt like I was having a steak not Carne Asada. The Spanish rice was yellow so that threw me off too. Like I have mentioned before my mom drinks hot sauce like water so they made her this special salsa that she fell in love with... I didn't dare try LOL... Not bad... Ohh the Margaritas were good too :)

Conventiely located in the heart of Manhatten Beach, Cozymel's a good place to just hang out with friends and have a mini-party.

This place has been known for their great margaritas and other mixed drinks. They have this cute, colorful drink called  "Cozy on the Beach." It's a mixed drink  of Pina Colada, strawberries and mango w/a touch of Bacardi Rum.

There's also something about their chips :) hehe. They're just right...not overbaked or hard...light and crispy...good stuff I tell ya :)

Yes I'm a yuppie. Total raging yuppie. I'm a work badge, Coach bag, JCrew polo yuppie. So maybe that's why I like this place.

I'd rate their normal food a solid 3, but they've got a great happy hour. And on Monday's happy hour is all night (or at least till 9). That extra star is solely based on their giant strawberry margarita. $5 Margarita, some $5 chicken flautas and $5 guacamole and I'm a happy camper.

Their menu is hit or miss, with their hits being more than adequate but as everyone else says, it's normal American-style mexican fare. I mean it's good and all, but it's mostly forgettable. Calamari is fabulous if you go when they're not so busy.  Calamari tacos make the calamari appetizer into a great entree (but I didn't see them on the menu last time I went...) and the shrimp fajitas have big ole succulent shrimp. Not very many, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and size.

Word of warning, I don't know if there's like a white version of MSG, but whatever they put in their food makes me tremendously thirsty. Might be the salt or the onions.

The food was actually good, not really authenti Mexican, but good. The low rating is because the service SUCKED.
We sat down in the bar. Wasn't really busy. Took 'em forever to come over to greet us and get a drink order. Took even longer to get the drinks and even longer for them to bring the guacamole made tableside we ordered.
I did enjoy their margarita sampler.
My Cancun Enchiladas were tasty. No one ever came to bring water or see how the food was.
It took even longer to get the check.

People often wonder why my ratings are so low even though I may say good things about a place.
Simple: The food is only as good as the service, or vice versa.

Love this place!  It IS like Chevy's, but so what, the food is fantastic!  I am a chips and salsa fiend, and like Chevy's the salsa is nice and thick.  Whenever we happen to be in the south bay or MB, we always stop by here.  Yum.

Haven't been here recently but my experience says it sucks, unless maybe if your just gonna get a Margarita. The food here is no where authentic, but then again this is in the South Bay.
