So, you're having a REALLY bad day, as in waiting  for the Dept. of  Revenue to take a boot off your car, what is a girl to do to raise her spirits....when there is no bar open at 1:15pm?  Yeah, fortunately for me, the blessed event took place right in front of Cozy Nails.

I walked in, probably looking a little ragged and asked if they could take me.  I was suddenly welcomed to wait next to a jar of Tootsie Rolls and awesome magazines.....and 5 seconds and two Tootsies later (hey, it was a bad day) I was whisked away by the sugar sweet Lily to begin my mani.

The atmosphere was extra chill (thanks big guy) and everyone was so friendly, happy and upbeat they didn't really let my distressed aura rain on their parade.  Vibrant colors, relaxing music and well spaced stations.  Extremely  clean!  Lily changed with someone else for reasons unknown but I didn't care, the replacement was just as awesome.  The owner was very welcoming and really sweet too.  A neighbor stopped in to say hi and show off an adorable  baby and they were so excited and nice, it actually kinda raised my spirits. a little. Lets not forget what brought me here.

The manicure was awesome and the OPI colors were super hot!!!  And when I sat under the dryers they gave me a brief but much appreciated mini shoulder massage.  When I waited an excessively long time, explaining my situation with waiting for the boot man and all, they did not give me any extra stress relief, but they were nice about me waiting inside during the rain!

Oh and get the Cozy Card!  They will offer it to you, take it, you get moving towards a free mani from the get go!

This place is just great all around. Every time I go for a mani/pedi I get right in, and the price is so great at $40 for a mani/pedi combo.

The owner is so friendly and remembers my friend and I every time we go in. The shoulder rub they give you after your service is such an added bonus as well.

I gave it 4 stars just because I don't have anything to compare them to, since it's the only place I go to. But with that said, they are truly amazing!

This place is under new management and leaves loads to be desired. I would imagine that none of the ladies working last Sunday had any formal nail training. They seemed to approach their jobs with a "learn as we go" attitude.  I will say that the polish selection has increased while under new ownership but the service has suffered greatly.
I was a big fan of this place but I have been three times since the owners took over and there is really nothing nice to say about it now. I take it back, they do give you a free gift but yesterday's gift was a room air freshner in strawberry scent. It smells even worse than it sounds! I really cannot recommend this place.

I have been getting my nails done here for 3 years and I love it. I have tried other places and am always disappointed and return to Cozy.  The quality of the work is great, the foot/hand massage lasts forever (and isn't that why we get our nails done?!?!), and my favorite part....they give a mini back rub while you wait for your nails to dry. It is a little pricey ($35 for a pedicure) but your going to pay the same at trendy Nail Bar but be much happier and more relaxed when you leave.

UPDATE: Cozy nail was sold and the new owners aren't nearly as friendly and professional as Stella, the last owner. I have been to Cozy 3 or 4 times since it was sold and was very disappointed with the services. I'm not  so sure I will be going back.

Stella and her crew really know how to treat their customers! They are always super friendly and welcoming.  If you come in for a special occasion, they'll take your picture and post it on the wall.  The best part of the mani/pedicure is the massage during and after the treatment.  Also, they pour saki & milk over your legs to soften during the pedicure. They always have some tasty snacks and tea available.  Street parking is pretty easy. They have a "Cozy Card" so you can earn free mani/pedi after 10 visits.

4/5/7 UPDATE:
Cozy has new owners.  The service isn't quite the same.  I miss Stella. The massages are not as good as they used to be.  It's still very nice.  But it's not the same as before.

Great service.  My manicure was great and fairly inexpensive.  They also gave a short massage (only ~2min but delightfully unexpected) while my nails were drying!
