Review from Daryll H.
New York, NY
I decided to try this place rather than my standard (Saratoga Springs) for a shorter-than-normal stay in the bay area.
Morgan Hill is a bit far from things, but this RV park is awesome. There are other shoddy RV parks on the same road, but this one stands out. Really well maintained grounds, friendly staff, big spaces, etc.
The other review here mentions that it's lots of concrete/paving/etc -- having been in several parking lot-style RV parks, this one is really not that way at all. Each spot is pretty spacious, the rigs here are all pretty high-end, and if you get a back row space (I think I paid extra for deluxe?) there's a nice view of the pasture/hills.
The main downside about this place is all location-related. It's not really near anything (besides Morgan Hill, which is kindof a hole), and the road access is not great (you can't turn in coming from the north, so you have to U-turn, or go down to the next exit 4 miles down the 101 and come back).
But, otherwise, top notch place. It has a little dog park too. -

This is the first RV park I have ever visited in my life. My friend's parents were in town with their "rig" for their yearly migration south for the winter from Portland. These people are hard core, they have been their "lifestyle" in their rig for over a year and had stories to tell about the people that they had met, and the places they had visited: including a brothel in the Las Vegas area for lunch (they apparently made good chicken wings from what they told me).
They told me that this is a very "city" RV park with pretty much only asphalt and concrete throughout, compared to the ones that are in the middle of nowhere with trees and wildlife running around. I was impressed with the fact that each spot had cable and the entire park had WiFi. Pretty hardcore if you ask me--however, not so surprising since it was in the gateway to the Silicon Valley. The "resort" also had a dining area, swimming pool, and jacuzzi.
Although not necessarily my cup of tea, I can understand why people enjoy the RV lifestyle. It beckons to a time where all your possessions can be pulled with you--however, a little bit more modernized with a huge truck, but it's the symbolism that matters! -

Not bad, honestly. This rv resort is well-maintained and is very clean. We have been to numerous rv resorts and campsites and this one beat many with its cleanliness, friendly staff and facilities. There is a fitness room - which is the first I have ever seen inside an rv park, pool, spa, cafe, book exchange - very cool idea, daily trash pick-up, etc.
So here is why I only rated it 3-stars: shade was scarce - it is a new rv park and mature trees should not be expected, but hey, I'm doing the review and shade is a must for me. The ambiance was not appealing to me. To put it simply, it was a quasi-parking lot filled with recreation vehicles - all concrete and pavements with hardly any grass and/or trees.
It just didn't do it for me. I couldn't wait to find an alternative. -

You can't call this place an RV "park"...because it's not...it is definitely a resort! It is the absolute nicest place to stay in the bay area, hands down! The other parks don't even compare. All the facilities are new and upscale. I was an extended stay guest for quiet some time and can't wait to get back. Cafe is open on weekends, very convenient. Staff is beyond nice and goes above and beyond. The park is doing a lot of cool things as far as events........definitely the place to be!!!!

Redoubtably the best RV Resort I have ever stayed in. Esthetically pleasing to the eye, meticulously maintain with plenty of elbow room between you and your new found friends, fabulous pool and jacuzzi AND super friendly staff. What more can I say. This place is a must for everybody whether just passing through, or in need of an escape to recharge. I'll definitely be back. Oh...and Camping World is only a few miles away too.

Coyote, CA
The park has improved it's conveinance store and now supplies basic need items. This is nice because the closest store is atleast a 10-15 minute drive (one way). They also made some nice improvements like adding a fire pit and a covered outdoor sitting area.

San Francisco, CA
I have several friends who live in this RV Park, they are all travel nurses and move every 3 months to a new location. When I went to visit them I was concerned thinking, "An RV Park?" but once I pulled in I realized this was no stereotypical RV Park. This is a resort! The people who live here full time are so friendly and welcoming and the staff is wonderful! The place has WIFI, heated pool, laundry facilities, workout room and a hot tub.

Coyote Valley Resort is as good as it gets. Wonderful personnel, clean, clean, clean facilities, to include bathrooms, pool, spa, and grounds. It is located near San Jose. One of the great attractions for us is the easy access to the paved bike trail that parallels highway 101 between Morgan Hill and San Jose. The trail is basically flat and 26 miles round trip. Great ride for the whole family especially us seasoned citizens.

Very helpful, friendly, respectable staff! Any issues that may arise from your journey they can help you with. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. Perfect for small to large rv's. Would recommend you stay no where else when in the San Jose, Morgan Hill, Gilroy area.
