The Yote tries to masquerade as a restaurant, but let's not kid ourselves, it's a bar. As first a local kid with a fake and then an employee desperately needing alcohol when I get off (and my locker room is stumbling distance in the main garage, hooray!), the Yote is only good for drinking. Much tastier, cheaper apres food can be found down at Bob's. Occasionally we might order a plate of nachos with our mugs, but generally we hit to Yote right after work (you may find your child's instructor here getting pretty wasted, but I promise, we're still great instructors!) I also love some of the girls who work here, but the service can be non existent at times.
From 3-4:30 you get a good crowd of drinkers, though it can get kind of crowded. After that you have families trying to come in from dinner and getting obnoxious with the people drinking (my fiance got physically assaulted by a very angry tourist when he was being loud). If you're looking for a family friendly meal in Beaver Creek, go to the Dusty Boot (though it's slightly pricier). The Rocks is a bit more upscale but a better dinner alternative and the Blue Moose, while overpriced and subpar for a pizza place, is also a much family friendlier place better for a meal in the Village.
I'd just recommend not trying to come here for dinner, leave it for the grown ups to have a drink after a day on the hill, before moving on to cheaper bars down Valley. Mexican food wise, the Eagle Valley is very Hispanic and there's better, cheaper, authentic Mexican down in Edwards, Wolcott and Eagle. The Yote is kind of basic Tex-Mex.Listed in: Born and Raised in the Vail…

This might be the worst restaurant in Beaver Creek. The bar may be ok - seems too small but the place is disorganized, dirty and the food just plain bad.

This is my apres ski destination when I hit the Beav. Yeah, you could hit the Chop House right at the base of the Beav, but that's a bit too high society for this knuckledragging dirtbag. I mean seriously, who the hell drinks a glass of wine after skiing/riding? (and I love good wine!) Cheap beers, cheap-ish drinks, crappy service, and 16 oz PBRs in a gigantic can for 2.50 or so. I recently discovered having a huge PBR can in front of you is also a great conversation starter. This is a perfect way to end a day of double black bumps and tree runs.
P.S. You can also listen to the Ricola horn blowing guy blowing his horn a level below you. It really adds to the ambience, or something.
P.P.S. The food's servicable. Don't expect greatness, but you also won't get sick and my ham and cheese sammy was actually pretty nice. If you want high quality food, there are plenty of other options in the village. -

Located on the second level of Beaver Creek lifts. Bf and I picked this place for breakfast for our second day of skiing. Place has a chill atmosphere and price is right!
BF got huevos rancheros which was delicious ipo. I wouldn't order it personally since it has black beans. I don't like beans! I went light and ordered biscuits and gravy (not that light). They put melted cheese on top of the bowl to kick it up 10 notches. Sprinkle some tapatio on this and you have yourself a bomb ass breakfast! -

The first thing that came to mind when we got here: This MUST be the meat market of Beaver Creek.
It's not a sleezy place, but it did seem like it might be a local hook up spot. The food was really, really good. I think I was caught off guard by how good the food in Colorado was. The portions were MASSIVE. Pretty much everything can be made veggie, so that was a plus. Our waitress was super cool and friendly. We ordered Pacificos only to notice two seconds later they had PBR in a can. Even though the place was packed, we still got great service and the food came out quickly. -

Went twice in one day (last Saturday)...
I went with 3 lady friend for lunch. The new bride wearing her baby blue/torquoise tank w/ Just Married in rhinestones, 2 hot blondes and me, wearing my black Guess open toe sling-back heels with my bikini and a cover-up aka FUPA cover.
I never thought I would wear that 1.) in public and 2.) one of my favorite ski resorts ever!!!
We shared a pitcher of the Perfect Margarita. It was pretty perfect, I'm not going to lie. The chips and cheesy dip was insane (not a fan of the chips but the dip was lovely), my tortilla soup w/chicken was lovely, even more lovely with a nice hit of sourcream on top. I ordered the kid's burger because I just wanted a simple bun and meat. I was just happy with my margarita so didn't get to the burger.
All 3 other girls got the quesadilla (chicken and beef) and they were stoked and full after 2 pieces.

That same evening the late night crew was ready to get a late night libation... this time we shared pitchers of Sunshine Wheat and House Margarita. Loved hanging out with the Conference Crew on our last evening. Miss y'all!!!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Well, the food wasn't bad and the margaritas were average; the scene was great. I didn't know what to expect from anything at the Beaver Creek Village, but I assumed that it was all going to be very tourist-y and corporate. This place felt like it was truly a piece of local culture. It was loud and raucous in a good way--and I went on a Monday.
I wouldn't recommend this place if you were looking for great (or even good) Mexican food. But I'd be happy to recommend it as a great place to have a drink after a good day on the slopes. -

After a long day of shredding in a fog & snow storm no one really wanted beer given the 2 hour drive ahead; however, everyone really wanted someone warm to drink be it soup or a beverage.
He headed down one level to Coyote Cafe and snatched up literally the only table that was available. On top of that luck we got lucky it was the only table big enough to hold 6 of us.
The items we did order were pretty good: hot chocolate & hc with baileys in it for the non-drivers, hot tea, vegetarian green chilli, & bowls of tortilla soup.
On the Beaver Creek expense scale they aren't that bad. The Starbucks up a level charges $2 more for a cup of hot chocolate then Coyote Cafe does and SB can't offer you Baileys. -

The drinks were reasonably priced. The bartender was a blast. I have to say he made me some pretty strong drinks! Overall the staff was friendly and I will be back.

just A ok, nothing fancy, not too fresh, not the cheapest, an ok place to rest your feet after a long day hitting the slopes, throw back a few and nosh on mediocre food.

Meh, the Coyote is pretty mediocre in my book. It's a nice and convenient place to grab a Fat Tire after a day on the slopes, but the food is kinda sucky (try the nachos...), they have no happy hour deals, it's always packed for apres and I once had my ski's jacked while stopping in. My advice, there are dozens of other better places to spend your cash at The Beav, where you don't have to worry about getting ripped off inside and out.

The atmosphere is good, but the food is pretty bad. Maybe I'm holding a grudge from when I was 17 and they threw me out for trying to buy beer.

Worst service ever. 10 minutes before anyone took our order and we had to flag them down. Waitress didn't enter our whole order and we didn't get all of our food. Food was pretty good but I won't come back. There are plenty of places to eat in beaver creek that would be glad to have my business.

Went last night for dinner and thought it was great. Crowded but not packed, reasonably priced, good food (try the homemade guacamole), and you can't beat being located right in the middle of the plaza.

Went with 5 kids and 4 adults during spring break and it was crowded but the service was good. Food was ok not great. Chipotle chicken sandwich was fine not special. Nachos were ok. Had 2 house margaritas which I'd say were above avg but I wasn't going to pay $17 and up for the special ones. Overall it's like the menu says "if the food is fine, the service is fine, and the price is fine, then it's fine dining" - plus it was convenient.

Service was mediocre, food was awful, but great margaritas and atmosphere. I would recommend this place for an après ski beer or margarita but whatever you do, don't eat here.

The food is poor and so is the service. It might be a good place to grab a beer.
