I have driving past the place for so many years , that it hurts me to know that for all these year's they have been serving up great American dinner food underneath my noise. I would recommend the Cajun steak breakfast or the Machaka Mexican breakfast- the biscuit gravy is pretty good too. Last time I was there I also notice that the serve Menudo on the weekend's- can't wait to try the Menudo !
You'll find two kinds of people here: 1) Old, sorry, senior citizens and 2) Locals w/their 5 kids and mostly because it's cheap with HUGE portions.
I wouldn't suggest driving out of the way to come here. More so, if you're in the area and lookin' for some cheap, stick to your ribs, breakfast! Try an omelet or "skillet" (one jumbled mess of potatoes & eggs).
They've got 21 Omelets for $7.65 (and that's 3 eggs w/potatoes AND toast or biscuit & gravy). Also, can't go wrong with Mexican dishes.
oh...and pass on the coffee :\
