Cousins Hair Design
2 reviews for Cousins Hair Design
I first went to Stacey after I got a bad cut. She fixed my screwed up layers and didn't charge me anything! I gave her a nice tip and have continued to visit her since. I haven't had my hair cut by her in a few months due to the fact that I had another hair catastrophe and she was out sick the day I really needed a cut. (This is where my trip to Virtu salon came in.)
At any rate, Stacey is hip, talented, and fun to talk to. Cousins is a relaxed and classy salon environment. I've never had anyone else cut my hair, but Stacey is solid and very good at what she does. At $35 for a cut, it's a good price for an excellent cut. I also like the fact that it's just down the road from where I live and fighting for parking is never an issue.
You would never know by the old sign and 70's tinted window building that inside lies a cute little boutique hair shop. The stylists are young, some related, some hip...I know it surprised me too! Go MTL! I needed my hair trimmed and styled, they did just that and did it well. No crazy cuts or not listening to me, just exactly what I asked for. I like that in a stylist. Not sure if I would go there for an innovative new do, but definitely for the basics.
